The extremely powerful 8.9 quake struck northern Japan on 11 March at
2:46 p.m. locally, about 15 minutes after the Moon entered Gemini (in
trine with Pallas). That 11 March date is feastday for Saint
Benedict
Crispus, Archbishop of Milan - there are many references to Milan
which could apply.

Milan pris d'Aigle par embûches deçus

Milan taken by the Eagle through deceptive ambushes

[III.37 line 2]

This suggests "Milan" is an obfuscation that will be comprehended.

Les deux copies aux murs ne pourront joindre
Dans cet instant trembler Milan, Ticin

Two armies will be unable to join at the walls
At that instant Milan, Pavia to tremble

[IV.90 lines 1 & 2]

This implies two quakes, a further one being associated with Pavia.
There is currently a bucket configuration of planets across four
signs
(Aries to Capricorn), perhaps one "army" mentioned; the "walls" could
indicate the lunar positioning at the cusp.

Par les Romains sera l'Aigle clamé
Ticcin, Milan et Gennes n'y consent

Throughout the Romans the Eagle will be proclaiming
Pavia, Milan and Genoa will not consent to that

[VI.78 lines 2 & 3]

Again Milan and Pavia are paired, the reversal here may be
inconsequential. A Genoan event should occur after those of Milan
and Pavia. "Romans" apparently concerns an upcoming inevitability in
my own Christian rejuvenation project.

Verceil, Milan donra intelligence
Dedans Ticin sera faite la plaie

Vercelli, Milan will give intelligence
Within Pavia the wound will be made

[VIII.7 lines 1 & 2]

"Verseil" was explained as the Virgo Moon in I.6 for conditions
during
US tornadoes following the Haiti quake, later used as a hint for Sun-
Moon pairing from VIII.34. This makes it clearer that Pavia comes
after Milan, with VI.78's reversal being a meaningless deviation.
Pavia seems worse than Milan, if also a quake the "wound" suggests a
massive fissure along a faultline. There are too many potential
dates
for "Pavia" to determine one definitively for the next event: Saint
Theodore of Pavia has a feastday of 20 May, yet many other saints
also
have a connection to that location; and the reference could be modern
- if the collapse of the town's Civic Tower is intended, that
happened
on 17 March 1989.

If the Pavia date requires the Moon to be on a cusp, location for the
upcoming event would be helpful in narrowing down the list of saints
associated with Pavia. The 17 March date for the tower collapse over
20 years ago has the Moon at the Leo-Virgo cusp around 1 p.m., but for
Los Angeles, not Japan; virtually the same grouping will persist as
during the 11 March Japan quake, with Neptune and Ceres in its midst
opposing the Moon.

Saintly feastdays linked with Pavia include bishop Peter (7 May),
Theodore (20 May), bishop Ennodius (17 July), Fulk (26 October), first
bishop Syrus (9 December), Pompey (14 December), Honorata (9 January),
bishop Epiphanius (21 January), and Juventius (12 February).
Progressing from the current date, 17 July 2011 has the Moon and
Neptune on the Aquarius-Pisces cusp, but no clear planetary grouping;
26 October 2011 has the Moon and Juno on the Libra-Scorpio cusp within
a grouping around 8 a.m. for Los Angeles; 9 January 2012 has the Moon
on the Cancer-Leo cusp facing a large bucket-type configurational
grouping.

There was also 1525's Battle of Pavia on 24 February, on which date in
2012 the Moon will be joined with Vesta at the Pisces-Aries cusp in
the midst of a large grouping from Aquarius to Taurus.

If the Moon at a cusp must be separate from a clear planetary
grouping, the list can be limited to very few possibilities, perhaps
too few to support that hypothesis. The reiterated pairing of Milan
and Pavia suggests these events occur closely in temporal terms,
although early the following year might seem nearby from the seer's
perspective.

Looking again at IV.90 lines 1 & 2, the condition in line 1 should
only apply to the 'Milan' incident - "at that instant Milan to
tremble" - with Pavia following, not necessarily subject to similar
conditions. Yet the chart for Japan's quake (now 9.0 magnitude)
doesn't present 'two armies' with its singular planetary grouping; if
Pallas were more central in its lunar trine, it could be interpreted
as separating the group into two, but that isn't the case. It seems
more likely that the subject was an actual conflict ongoing at the
same time: Libya is seven hours ahead of Japan, so when the quake
struck there at 2:46 p.m., in Libya at 7:46 a.m. on 11 March a morning
invasion by two loyalist armed forces was underway, hampered by some
rebels who had skipped retreat in the Battle of Ra's Lanuf.

<< On the morning of March 11, the first loyalist ground troops
entered the town with 150 soldiers, backed up by three tanks, and
managed to get to the city center. At the same time, four transport
boats came in from the sea and unloaded 40-50 soldiers each on the
beach near the Fadeel hotel. They were engaged by hard-core rebel
remnants, who had not retreated from Ra's Lanuf the previous day.
Government troops captured the residential area, but the rebels
continued to hold out in the oil port facilities for a few hours
before they too retreated from Ra's Lanuf east of the city. The town
had fallen. >>

So perhaps this military activity was the topic, rather than line 1
being an astrological allegory, with the rebel resistance being the
reason why the two armies could not join temporarily. That makes my
comparative analysis of the potential 'Pavia' dates irrelevant, and
the situational factors regarding the nuclear physics might be the
best indicator for which date was intended.

If concerns over nuclear reactors in Japan undergoing partial
meltdowns due to failure of energy for their cooling systems post-
quake prove warranted, the resulting disaster site at the facility
could manifest the "wound" associated with Pavia in VIII.7. This
would explain why Milan and Pavia are paired, beyond the historical
connections between those literal Italian locations.

Yes 9.0 is a great magnitude, but still not as powerful as the
Sumatran quake of 2004, also with a death toll about ten times
larger. The Fukushima Dai-Ichi plant reactors were not rated for such
an intense seismic event, and the worsening situation there has become
the dominant story, affecting nearby towns. The problem was the
power loss to the cooling system pumps, more than structural damage.
The backup generators were in the basement, which flooded when the
tsunami wall was overcome by massive waves. They could not connect
the power to the pumps because of a flooded turbine room. Because the
water is highly radioactive, its removal must be conducted carefully,
not a fast process.

The spent fuel rod pool on the second level was not contained as well
as the reactor core: had the generator been on that level, perhaps no
problem - but less protection in a meltdown situation. There is a
large amount of spent fuel at the site; the material forming the rods
has partially melted, with the contents pooling together (hopefully
not into a critical mass). One of the reators uses plutonium fuel, a
long-half-lived element that emits lethal alpha radiation. Resorting
to cooling with seawater results in salt building up and impeding
efforts; fresh water may have to dissolve a salt casing.

There is now an admission of core breach in one of the four troubled
(out of six) reactors, all of which appear irreparable. That
reactor's contents melted down onto the concrete floor, it was
suspected. The Pavia date coinciding with a further tragic milestone
is this story should arrive in several months, this is unfolding
relatively long-term. My guess would be the 20 May date for St
Theodore; strangely, the group believing 21 May will mark the Rapture
also hinted at a precursor event that resembled the Japanese quake and
tsunami (on radio, could not find that online). I cannot comprehend
the relevance of the numerical methodology Harold Camping used to
derive that date {*}; nor do I endorse the Rapture notion, since it
was taken from --

[I Thess 4:15-17:]

15 For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who
are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will by no means
precede those who have died. 16 For the Lord himself, with a cry of
command, with the archangel's call and with the sound of God's
trumpet, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise
first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up in
the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we
will be with the Lord forever.

While this has some ingredients from Revelations, it is even more
ambiguous: no mention of the torturously articulated seven-trumpet
sequence; this mass ascension is not seen as an extrapolation of the
Resurrection-Ascension of the two witnesses --

[Apoc 11:11-12:]

11 But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God
entered them, and they stood on their feet, and those who saw them
were terrified. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to
them, "Come up here!" And they went up to heaven in a cloud while
their enemies watched them.

And this first resurrection (the "dead in Christ" rising) is not
clarified as being AFTER the millennial reign of saints --

[Apoc 20:4-6:]

4 Then I saw thrones, and those seated on them were given authority
to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for
their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God. They had not
worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on
their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with
Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life
until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. Over
these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God
and of Christ, and they will reign with him a thousand years.

But instead of making these valid connections, the Rapture idea
convolutes an imperfect understanding of the passage from I Thess with
Christ's message about the End of the Ages of Pisces --

[Matt 24:34-44:]

34 "Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all
these things have taken place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but
my words will not pass away. 36 But about that day and hour no one
knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the
Father. 37 For as the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the
Son of Man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating
and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah
entered the ark, 39 and they knew nothing until the flood came and
swept them all away, so too will be the coming of the Son of Man. 40
Then two will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be
left. 41 Two women will be grinding meal together; one will be taken
and one will be left. 42 Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on
what day your Lord is coming. 43 But understand this: if the owner
of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming,
he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken
into. 44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is
coming at an unexpected hour."

These comments about being "taken" or "left" clearly relate to the
reaping of souls event, where Christ takes the harvest of good souls,
while the rest are cast into a winepress and crushed --

[Apoc 14:14-20:]

14 Then I looked, and there was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud
was one like the Son of Man, with a golden crown on his head, and a
sharp sickle in his hand! 15 Another angel came out of the temple,
calling with a loud voice to the one who sat on the cloud, "Use your
sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of
the earth is fully ripe." 16 So the one who sat on the cloud swung
his sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped. 17 Then another
angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.
18 Then another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has
authority over fire, and he called with a loud voice to him who had
the sharp sickle, "Use your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of
the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe." 19 So the angel swung
his sickle over the earth and gathered the vintage of the earth, and
he threw it into the great wine press of the wrath of God. 20 And the
wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the
wine press, as high as a horse's bridle, for a distance of about two
hundred miles.

Jesus told a parable about the wheat ultimately being separated from
the chaff --

[Matt 13:24-30:]

24 He put before them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven may be
compared to someone who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while
everybody was asleep, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat,
and then went away. 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then
the weeds appeared as well. 27 And the slaves of the householder came
and said to him, "Master, did you not sow good seed in your field?
Where, then, did these weeds come from?' 28 He answered, "An enemy has
done this.' The slaves said to him, "Then do you want us to go and
gather them?' 29 But he replied, "No; for in gathering the weeds you
would uproot the wheat along with them. 30 Let both of them grow
together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the
reapers, Collect the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be
burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.' "

Notice this scenario does not agree with Apoc 14, where the righteous
are harvested first. Yet Christ was quite clear about what the
criteria would be for this division --

[Matt 25:31-46:]

31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with
him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. 32 All the nations
will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from
another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, 33 and he
will put the sheep at his right hand and the goats at the left. 34
Then the king will say to those at his right hand, "Come, you that are
blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world; 35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I
was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and
you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick
and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.' 37 Then
the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when was it that we saw you
hungry and gave you food, or thirsty and gave you something to drink?
38 And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you, or
naked and gave you clothing? 39 And when was it that we saw you sick
or in prison and visited you?' 40 And the king will answer them,
"Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who
are members of my family, you did it to me.' 41 Then he will say to
those at his left hand, "You that are accursed, depart from me into
the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was
hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing
to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and
you did not give me clothing, sick and in prison and you did not visit
me.' 44 Then they also will answer, "Lord, when was it that we saw you
hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and
did not take care of you?' 45 Then he will answer them, "Truly I tell
you, just as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did
not do it to me.' 46 And these will go away into eternal punishment,
but the righteous into eternal life."

This salvation does not come simply for promoting greater charity than
the wicked opposing group: the righteous must also endure the full
brunt of human iniquity as a movement or faction that, rather than
miraculously escaping, could subject them to literal martyrdom, which
is foreshadowed at the breaking of the fifth seal --

[Apoc 6:9-11:]

9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of
those who had been slaughtered for the word of God and for the
testimony they had given; 10 they cried out with a loud voice,
"Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long will it be before you judge
and avenge our blood on the inhabitants of the earth?" 11 They were
each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the
number would be complete both of their fellow servants and of their
brothers and sisters, who were soon to be killed as they themselves
had been killed.

Later these saved figures appear, as having come into heaven through
the great tribulation, meaning they had been executed by the 'fully-
ripe' wicked people --

[Apoc 7:9-14:]

9 After this I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one
could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and
languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, robed in
white, with palm branches in their hands. 10 They cried out in a loud
voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who is seated on the
throne, and to the Lamb!" 11 And all the angels stood around the
throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they
fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 singing,
"Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and
power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen." 13 Then one of
the elders addressed me, saying, "Who are these, robed in white, and
where have they come from?" 14 I said to him, "Sir, you are the one
that knows." Then he said to me, "These are they who have come out of
the great ordeal; they have washed their robes and made them white in
the blood of the Lamb.

Also the further date from Camping in September 2011 does not register
as Judgment Day, since that comes after the millennial reign of saints
--

[Apoc 20:7-12:]

7 When the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his
prison 8 and will come out to deceive the nations at the four corners
of the earth, Gog and Magog, in order to gather them for battle; they
are as numerous as the sands of the sea. 9 They marched up over the
breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the
beloved city. And fire came down from heaven and consumed them. 10
And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire
and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will
be tormented day and night forever and ever. 11 Then I saw a great
white throne and the one who sat on it; the earth and the heaven fled
from his presence, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the
dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were
opened. Also another book was opened, the book of life. And the dead
were judged according to their works, as recorded in the books.

Since the Pavia date is associated with a 'wound being made,' a
critical point regarding the nuclear meltdown situation should be the
most notable follow-up event in Japan, rather further aftershocks,
even if they generate tsunamis. As posted previously about the 22
February quake in New Zealand:

<< ...quake struck shortly
before 1 pm locally on 22 February, feastday for St Margaret of
Cortona, who was born in Tuscany in 1247. This brought me to III.42
line 2 --

Pierres en Tuscie par pluie tomberont

For "Tuscany," stones will fall like rain

This matches the means by which casualties were caused, wherein many
were killed by falling rubble.

III.42's first line brings in an enigmatic theme from II.7 about an
infant born with two teeth, which Leoni noted was a rumor about Louis
XIV.

The rest of III.42 parallels the end of II.7 regarding a famine on
the
horizon. II.7 says trees will be stripped of leaves; III.42 reveals
the famine arrives a few years after the "Tuscany" event, specifying
a
lack of wheat and barley. The mystery of the infant with two teeth
might have a symbolic solution, possibly about a pair of events being
connected, rather than an actual birth anomaly. >>

It seems the 6.3 on the 22nd killing 65 was the second 'tooth,' with
the 7.1 on 4 September 2010 in the same area producing no fatalities
symbolized as the 'first tooth.'

It is interesting that famine is predicted in IX.55 in conjunction
with a war prepared by the West, which makes me consider the Iraq
conflict, where the US forces are planning withdrawal for the end of
2011. The sense seems to be that the year following the end of this
military involvement, a pestilence or famine will ensue; this could
dovetail with the timetable for a famine given in III.42. The
defoliation aspect mentioned in II.7 also appears consistent with the
afternath of the last of the three Saturnin events, which I have
calculated for CERN 7 July 2013.

There is also a condition in the final line of IX.55 which occurs
periodically, interpreting the planetary cue as an alignment of
Mercury, Mars and Jupiter: this line seems out of sequence with the
first three, indicating an incident featuring blood and fire in
France. The alignment is included in a large grouping within Aries,
along with Venus in opposition to Saturn; the condition will exist
from 19 April 5 p.m. locally to 1 May 1 a.m., with the Moon joining
the grouping towards the end of this interval.

As far as the US economic debate is concerned, some apparently do not
believe the warnings in scripture regarding inequitable distribution
of resources does not apply to themselves, or the system they
collectively create. It is not for no reason that Jesus warning the
rich would find it difficult to attain the kingdom of heaven, although
the "eye of needle" was actually a smaller gate that a camel could
pass through if it was not overly burdened.

Study says most corporations pay no U.S. income taxes

http://www.reuters.com/article/2008/08/12/us-usa-taxes-corporations-idUSN1249465620080812

<< (Reuters) - Most U.S. and foreign corporations doing business in
the United States avoid paying any federal income taxes, despite
trillions of dollars worth of sales, a government study released on
Tuesday said.
The Government Accountability Office said 72 percent of all foreign
corporations and about 57 percent of U.S. companies doing business in
the United States paid no federal income taxes for at least one year
between 1998 and 2005.
More than half of foreign companies and about 42 percent of U.S.
companies paid no U.S. income taxes for two or more years in that
period, the report said.
During that time corporate sales in the United States totaled $2.5
trillion, according to Democratic Sens. Carl Levin of Michigan and
Byron Dorgan of North Dakota, who requested the GAO study.
The report did not name any companies. The GAO said corporations
escaped paying federal income taxes for a variety of reasons including
operating losses, tax credits and an ability to use transactions
within the company to shift income to low tax countries...
The study showed about 28 percent of large foreign corporations, those
with more than $250 million in assets, doing business in the United
States paid no federal income taxes in 2005 despite $372 billion in
gross receipts, the senators said. About 25 percent of the largest
U.S. companies paid no federal income taxes in 2005 despite $1.1
trillion in gross sales that year, they said. >>

File:United States Income Distribution 1947-2007

The top 5% nearly doubled its income between 1970 and 2000; the upper
middle class (top 20%) has sustained a modest increase of about 30%;
but the lower 50% virtually flatlined, with no income increase. So
when those who have the most also have the greatest increases, the
reduction of their tax burden becomes a more significant factor in
deficits, since large profitable companies are also not paying taxes,
and even receiving subsidies. It has to come from somewhere, whether
it is borrowing from China, or turning Medicare into a voucher deal -
it is a matter of priorities, and it is priorities that will be
judged. Trying to get blood from a stone is never the best option.
Add to this the recently revealed corruption in the mortgage
foreclosure story, with forged documents churned out to make up for
nonexistent paperwork, and the highly leveraged speculation driving up
certain commodity prices. High unemployment is not so much the
problem, but rather a symptom. The analogy of running the goverment
like a business or household collapses when one considers tax cuts
that are financed through debt: this is like someone asking for a pay
cut, borrowing to make ends meet, and claiming they should have no
responsibilities as the solution. When one side always crafts an
argument for the same thing, regardless of its efficacy at reaching
professed goals, the real motive may be ulterior.

In Spring 2003, a survey of 1000 economists was conducted using a
randomly generated membership list from the American Economics
Association. The survey contained questions about 18 policy issues,
voting behavior, and several background variables. The response was
264 (nonblank) surveys. The responses show that most economists are
supporters of safety regulations, gun control, redistribution, public
schooling, and anti-discrimination laws. They are evenly mixed on
personal choice issues, military action, and the minimum wage. Most
economists oppose tighter immigration controls, government ownership
of enterprise and tariffs. In voting, the Democratic:Republican ratio
is 2.5:1.
