Maybe we could go out for coffee sometime?
Great, or maybe we could go somewhere and just eat a bunch of caramels.
What?
When you think about it, it's just as arbitrary as drinking coffee.
[laughs] Okay, sounds good.
umm If comic books are that good at helping you learn to read , one would
think you could find a newsgroup that had a little to do with your rant?

Kinda like you draw your girlfriend each night before you spooge all over
your own pencil work.
Fallen likes to DRAW. He draws with crayons and he draws pictures of mommy
& daddy and the house we all still live in.
Dat me, me is Fallen. I like to draw like a little kid and then act
superior online.
Besides, UK artists, writters and their comics all suck. That is why you
chumps buy American. Remember.
Now I know you still live at home, cause you got to be about 15 years old
to draw comicbooks and still be so stuck up.

For sure
Personally my fav is Mike Mignola or Adam Hughes
They all put out about as much in the same length of time. Ross is more on
the ball and his work is harder to do even.
Take about overrated= Jeffrey Scott Cambell
Check out the new Transformers. Pat Lee rocks.
My 2nd job. The small comic store got featured in Red Star #6 by Image and
Chris Clermont called that same store to find out why we think X-Treme
X-Men sucks :P
He was almost crying.
Fallen is Chris Clermont.

Lets see how much of a liar you really are right here and now.

Which is it? Afraid or lied?
I got my back covered cause I do not lie. How about you? Gonna post post a
picture to prove you rule?
I am sure Bill Becker would not mind having some original APWW fan art
work added to his site.

Actually, some of the best writers in the biz today, come the UK. Garth
Ennis, Grant Morrison, Alan Moore, all come from the UK and all put out
great stories.
Very good artists.

*laugh* No, It's not my profession, just a sideline I had going. I've never
done a whole book or anything. I mainly, hmm how to describe it...
I guess what I did was pull images out of existing comic books, remove all
the peripherals like speech bubbles other characters etc., add in anything
necessary like a new background and all the bits that are now blank and turn
them into poster sized prints. I pencilled everything, then inked then if I
felt it would look ok coloured with pastels and framed.
The piece I'll scan in is the last thing I was working on, a Poster of Sabre
tooth and Wild Child from the alternate X-Men universe. It's what they look
like on the cover of X-Men Alpha or Omega, can't remember which. I pencilled
them without the rest of the gang and put in a new background, altered a few
details etc. It's unfinished because, as you'll see, I couldn't decide on
what type of writing to use for Wild Child's name.

Ewww. Wizard comic said this and CNB said that about #1 writter. They also
got voted the ugliest men on earth and no wonder they sit and write
nothing but good comicbooks all day. Kinda like how you Fallen snip and
clip other artists work and rob them while making some crap you call your
own art work.
Bwhahahahhahaha, what a joke of an artist you turned out to be.
Pencil. what do you use that for? To trace over somebody elses work?
Typical Fallen. Nothing original and nothing new to say.
I accept your thank you Fallen and I leave you with a..... your welcome.
Now go and trace your pencil over somebody else work and call it your own.
Sounds kinda gay to me. But then again, Ellis' work has always been a bit
homo-erotic.

I couldn't let this thread die without someone mentioning Lee Falk.
That being done, I'll drop out again- I've a friend who's well into comics,
but I only hang aroung him enough to pick up some of the lingo.

What's most worrying is I can't tell whether this is an attempt at an insult

Yes, that was the point. Comics aren't drawn realistically. Heroic proportion.

Now there's a shock. The writers and artists you've mentioned are the ones

Uhm, I found exactly what you do. Colour in porn. Wasn't difficult, of course
it 'was' unexpected. And riotously funny.

Yes?

I don't do computer art, hence having to 'scan' something in. Did that not
come through when I said I'd have to scan something in? I use a pencil and
paper so technically my url would be www.myhouse.sketchbook/page1.html. or you
can also find my work at www.mybusiness.wall/frame1.html.

Hang on, I really have to get this one straight. You're accusing me of what
tracing or something? When you post a url to your 'work' which is you just
colouring on top of pornographic photos. I am honestly amazed that I can type
straight right now :)

Yes it would, hopefully they're far better than the page you have up. Got a
link or a list of cards?

Hey I crack me up so it's only to be expected.
Fallen.
I got it. Pretty sweet. If you ever feel like selling any of your work, let
me know.
Could be. But everybody has a certain style they prefer. Me, I like the
comedic stylings of Peter David.
Not to but in, but isn't it acceptable with either spelling?

Color is the Americanised spelling. The correct 'English' spelling is colour. So
depending on where you're from, yes, both spellings are correct.

Kinda how you are so good at drawing you having nothing of yours
scanned to your HD. And then you posted somebody else work enterily
and said it was your own. You failed and you lost and now you cannot
even lose gracefully.

So who's artwork am I uploading? Come on, you could at least make an effort.
Fallen.
Like how you truthfully cut out somebody else art and said it was your
own. You rip on photomanipulation which takes more talent than cutting
along the lines and scanning something as stupid as the crap you
posted and then you still have a hard time being a good loser and a
good sport.
Whats the matter Fallen. Did you get shown up? Did you boast and then
fail to deliver anything worth mentioning. I mean what the hell was
your art even claled? Copy Pastey#12312.jpg
Is that what you spend you free time doing? Gee, i'd rather spend some
of mine actualyl putting clothes on a woman then tracing other peoples
work who are more talented than I ever will be.
I will tell Joe Mad however you enjoy plagiarizing his work.
Straight out Fallen. Your art as you call it is even lazy. It's lazy.
You are so pathetic I love knowing you cannot pencil better than me
and you proved it yourself by not posting your own work and then
making excuses why you could not deliver but still tried to in a half
assed and lazy way.
LOL

Does it bug you that I wasn't? It does doesn't it :)
If it helps I used to colour on top of photos too, usually when my mother left the
room and I could crawl over and steal a pen out of her bag. So there was a time we
had something in common.
Fallen.
Don't tell me you have nothing laying around of yours that you can
scan? Why, are you not proud of all your own work? We have talked
about this before and you do suffer from lack of pride but you are so
boastfully. I would just for once like to see you come through on your
end of the boasts and not make so many excuses when you fail.
But for that you would have to be a real man and like we all already
know, you have only proven yourself Fallen to be a 1/2 man.
Enjoy your tracing and pasting Fallen. It's a real talent you should
not let go to waste like you obviously do the rest of your talents.
Which include, lying, bragging, being smug and making a jackass of
yourself and then finding 100 reasons why you aren't a jackass that
nobody even believes but lets by cause you are just so pathetic. Kinda
like Alex Cain, Sawdust & Shice Beoney.
All in the UK I might ad aside from Sawdust who probably is anyway. So
not to rip on the UK, just wondering since you admitted to being Sie,
narcing on Gumby and trying to frame me. Are you also the other three
losers you remind me of so much as you are all so much alike and the
fact I have kicked all your asses so many times and you're all the
sorest bunch of losers I ever did have to repeat and beat.
You have to give this guy a break here Fallen.
I mean after all, you are the very same guy who accepted my art
challenge and then posted somebody elses work. So I mean, aren't we
all a little right?
That is if you can get away with plagiarizing somebody elses pencil
work than he can think color is spelled only one way.
It's the same thinking.

Yes. I'm also everyone else in the group with a UK ISP. In fact it's a
little known fact that I'm the only person really in the UK. The people
you see on TV etc. are just computer created images done by me with my
cutting and pasting skills. Everyone you meet with a British accent are
just actors trying to get parts as the token Brit in american sitcoms.

Yet again I can't decide whether you're desperately trying to ignore the
fact that its mine or whether you really don't understand that fact.
With a person of normal intelligence I would of course assume the former
but...
Fallen.
Sure, I enjoy Joes work very much. Have ever since he started on
Uncanny X-Men. But that is his art work you scanned and posted.
What about your own art. That was the challenge you have failed to
deliver on so far. And that you tried to make excuses to get out of
after you posted somebody elses art work and called it your own.
Which crack me up even more that you ripped on my stuff when you
couldn't even post your own. You had to plagiarize a famous comicbook
artists work and you failed to fool anybody with your talents at
deceit which even sucks more than your tracing somebody else art work
sucks.
In case you did not know Fallen. Among us comicbook artists it is
thought of as insulting to trace over their work and then call it your
own. Just like most circles of talent. Kinda like your circle of
talented peers. Only your guys motto is " There is no honor aming
thieves. "

So in one night I found a copy of X-Men Alpha, which btw has a metallic cover,
traced it, altered it enough so that it obviously isn't traced, drew a new
background, inked it and scanned it. Man I'm good.
Of course it looks like Joe Madureiras work, just like when someone draws a vase
of flowers it looks like *gasp* the actual vase of flowers they are drawing. If
it looked like Mount Rushmore then I'm fairly certain they're doing something
wrong.
If it's traced then how did I manage to trace the alternate version where
Sabretooth is looking up to the left instead of down, where more of his legs are
showing, where Wild Childs pose is altered etc.
Is that your entire argument, that it looks like someone elses work? Did you not
even read what I was going to scan? Would you prefer something I drew myself? As
in from scratch rather than from inspiration? That can easily be arranged to if
you'd like.
In fact I can get it done in the next couple hours if all you want is some
coloured in porn?
Fallen.
Which piece? The black & White image drawn by Joe Madureira ?

Joe Madureira
You traced it. Tracing inlcudes looking at his image and drawing it
exactly like he did, which is what you did at best.
At best you eyes his image and drew it to another peice of paper. It's not
originally, technically it's not yours and it's as half assed as you are
in general. Anybody would agree if you have to constantly look at
something to do it, then you are not a creator or even an aritist.
Are you saying you do something other then look at Joe Madureira's
picture and copy it with your own hand?

Drew? I did what you did with those you dumb ass, I stole other people
pictures and turned them into cards. Ever look at the back of a Inquest or
Scrye you jackass?

When I do finally go to hell, I am kicking Satan's ass and taking over.
His name is Joe Madureira.
I own the comicbook he traced the image from and I can go and get it
scanned, if not find it online like he probably did. As Eraser already
said. Marvel.com must have it in their archives. I unlike Fallen do not
own a scanner and was proud enough to display things I drew anywhere from
6 to 10 years ago and he still had to be nasty when he himself was only
tracing over images originaly drawn by Joe Madureira.

It was drawn by Joe Madureira. You looked at it and copied it. That is not
art. What you did was plagiarize his work.
Which is against the law in every country btw.
I noticed you did not sign the work which was smart cause that would be
like signing your name on the crime scene huh.
Well Fallen. You forced my hand. By Monday I will have scanned the issue
and uploaded the original and post it as mine. And then you will have
nothing to say.
Cause we all know now that Joe Madureira's name is out, next thing you
will be asking for is the proof he ever drew an image just like the one
you say you drew.
So I will up the ante again and call. Monday, proof. Oh, what issue was it
from again? Nevermind, I have them all.

Good at copying somebody elses art work? Sure, anybody can do that and in
1 hour, not one night.
Ohh, Alpha. Yes the black and white was posted all over before he release
of the actual comic. Surely you've seen advance comics which display art
from comings that you might not see in original b&w ?
So you are admitting you cannot draw anything original on you own off the
top of you head and you are a comicbook artist but have no characters that
you created and or regularly draw or even drew back in the day?
If so, then you what you did now was equal to what I do with
photomanipulations, where as I did create it, but not really. Not
originally and without the start, I would have never had anything to
finish. Again that is not art d00d. That's called half assed crap. Just
like you art is.

amusing.

Actually I have signed the work.

I could possibly say 'panties'?

Uhm I was the one who named him? Do keep up.

It was from X-Men Alpha (Or possibly Omega, but Alpha as I recall). I ask
again do you even read the threads you're replying to? I said before it was
posted where it was from. I'm not entirely certain why you think repeating
things I've already said myself is supposed to upset me in some way?
Fallen.
> Of course it looks like Joe Madureiras work,
He admits that is looks just like Joe Madureira's artwork. So what is Hex
missing here? That somebody who can lift his art from somebody else, even
if his own hand drew the copied image and changed a bit here or there,
that that makes him a better artist than me? Isn't that like a
contradiction to everything Fallen has ever said in this NG in his time
here?
yes it sure as hell is.
Fallen, wow d00d, let me copy a Joe Madureira. and I am sure I can still
do that better than you also. But it's nothing I would be proud of or
boast about and around other people like you are. I am wondering if you
actually believe you have talent? cause anybody can do what you did. Even
Sizeless or Alex Cain or even ficken PORK SODA.

Sure, if they look at it and draw something else. But to look at something
and copy it to paper does not make a great artist. You want to create more
then just a pencil work when you look at something and draw it. You want
paint and 100 feet of canvas and a brick wall for it to go on and for
everybody to see . Not something you can do on a monthly basis with 32
pages due every 30 days. That is what we talked about in the challenge.
Not looking at Joe Madureira's picture and copying and saying there, I am
good.
Hex said to Fallen about his copying Joe Madureira.'s original art work.
" You're not good at even copying his work and that is the really sad part
about all this. "

I did read what you planned to scan and it sound hoaky then and it looks
hoaky now. It's not what we talked about, I said comicbook artists kick
butt. You said you are one. I laughed and said I was one also. Then I
boasted I was better than you and we challenged to upload something of our
work. Right away you start talking about copying an image from X-Men alpha
the age of apocalype and I am like, What the hell does Fallen think a
comicbook artist is? A guy who runs around always copying other peoples
pictures, changing a few thing and then calling them new and original and
he is a great artist?
Is that what you believe makes you great is the ablility to look at Joe's
work and mimic it almost as good as he does. And I am being nice cause
the original part the background was just horrible.
> Would you prefer something I drew myself? As
Damn fucking right. Something you created or at least did not have to look
at to draw. Cause otherwise you are an artistic cripple. You could not
exist in that field without others, allot of help and allot of hoping
nobody calls you on plagiarizing their images to your books.
The fact is if you want a fair compairisen(sp? whatever) to your idea of
art against one of mine ideas of art, then the photomanipulations are the
closest match, cause I can sure as hell copy a Joe Mad or any other arist
better than you can. Even my 5 your old brother can and he doesn't even
exist.

Inspired is scratch if you are not looking at the image you are copying
and saying that is so inspiring to you that you had to keep looking at it
in order to get your art work done. Than sure you are inspired to
plagiarize. Not to be a great comicbook artist.

Yeah, lets see if you can even manage that without having to lift from my
photomanips to get your done.
LOL
Challenge accepted. So bring that one along with some original none copied
crap. Cause seriously for you looking at that image and drawing it as bad
as you did, you have nothing to be proud of. Certainly not the original
background you added.

Ok then. You have one night. Do the same.

If you can find it then go ahead. I also want the image to overlay mine, including
the moved stances and the fact that my image is A3.

There are plenty of characters I regularly drew 'back in the day' (What day?). No I
never felt the need to make up my own characters although I think I once went
through a phase of giving existing characters new uniforms for no apparent reason.

Uhm You just called your own art 'half assed crap'? I still prefer the term
'colouring over porn' though.

Hmm maybe point form might work for you better...
1. Considering I named the comic book in question I'm fairly certain anyone
with half a brain could find it online within seconds. I'll give you a day or
two.
2. You haven't got the slightest clue when someone else is insulting you do
you? I'm guessing you only get mine because I never do anything different.
3. I also don't own a scanner, hence the time delays in scanning something.
Why on Earth would I feel the need to scan my artwork in the first place?
4. You. Colour. Over. Porn.

In 10 minutes I pulled out X-Men Alpha and looked at the fold out cover.
To see on the back half, the exact same image Fallen drew and said he
altered a few things on it to make it original. yet the only differane is
Wildchilds face is slimmer than it was originally drawn by Joe Madureira
on the cover of this comic I have right her and plan to scan over the
weekend. Foil cover or not and upload it to my site along with Fallen's
original art work and let each persons eyes decide for themselves if what
you did Fallen was great and artistic or lazy and plagiaristic.

Considering you own the book in question even you should be able to notice that it's
not 'exactly' as he did. That was the point of what I explained before I scanned
anything.

I eyes his image? I'll assume you meant I looked at what he drew and then drew it
myself. Hmm does this next paragraph sound familiar at all...
"I guess what I did was pull images out of existing comic books, remove all
the peripherals like speech bubbles other characters etc., add in anything
necessary like a new background and all the bits that are now blank and turn
them into poster sized prints. I pencilled everything, then inked then if I
felt it would look ok coloured with pastels and framed."
Neither I nor Joe Madureira created Sabretooth so I'll join him in not being a
creator then.

I think it may be creeping in somewhere...keep on with that train of thought...

I don't want a list of Magic Cards, I want the list of 400 Magic Cards you are
apparently credited with.
I actually want to see something you've done that was decent enough to publish.

The part that cracks me up most. More legs are showing. Unless you fully
fold the cover to X-men alpha open, then you can see where that leg
extended off page and onto the next one where you simply kept on copying.

If you can even colour in p0rn in half that time and half as good as me,
we'll forget this whole thing and I'll cluck my arms around like a chicken
until the cows come home. But since you never fully live up to your end of
the deals, don't expect me to once you finally do win and I have to
conceed gracefully. After 4 years I owe you at least one poor
sportsmanship fit for all the ones you put me throught.
Jeez, I never thought kicking you ass would hurt me so much, but then
again I never knew I'd have to kick your ass every day and you'd would
just keep coming back for more and more, taking those drugs and pretending
nothing ever happened the night before.
Wow, you are so sad you copied an image drawn by Joe Madureira to show
me up and you somehow made his original artwork seem worse and people who
have to work harden than him to get the jobs he does to get them, because
you just copy him and that's that. You are the type of person Fallen that
gets statements invented because of him, like this one ...
One bad seed can ruin a good thing for everybody.
You do not even thing you crap could put somebody out of college because
you plagiarized your way through everything they had to earn themselves
without help or a study aid to mimic every piece of.
Damn, I hate your types. The kind of people who should be killed for being
so useless in life and so thoughtless of others.
You know, somebody once got on me for making Midnight leave APWW. And like
I always said, it was always you that drove him out Fallen. Because
without you, I could have never gotten so mad at him as to call him pigboy
and make him go away.
See, you are great. Great at fucking things up for everybody else. even
your so called friends. Thankz, but I would much rather and always will be
your enemy.
And yeah, one day , I will be at your door. In your face and you can do
nothing to save yourself from the beating I owe you. And god help anybody
else who is there with you at the time.
