(fantasy) UWA Champions Challenge, 6/19

UWA/NXT champion Karrion Kross opened, dressed in a suit. Today isn't about him, but rather, his muse, Scarlett. It's ladies day in the UWA, and Scarlett, who hasn't had a match on NXT yet, will get to show what she can do. Kross, on the other hand, will begin to prep for Firecracker Free-For-All in 2 weeks, where he defends the UWA title vs. Drew McIntyre.
1. Piper Niven, making her UWA debut after coming over from NXT UK, def. Aliyah with the modified Michinoku Driver at 3:55. Niven's pin of Naomi on Monday has been stricken from the record, per commissioner William Regal, and Eva Marie, who committed a contract breach by refusing to compete, MUST face Naomi today.
2. Ember Moon def. Dakota Kai via the Eclipse in 13:03 in a return match from 6/8. No Raquel Gonzalez, as Regal ordered her confined to backstage, her ringisde privileges revoked for interfering in Kai's last two NXT singles matches. The idea was to protect the former women's tag champs for another run, but the UWA says no to that.
Charlotte Flair is still trying to have her losses to Nikki Cross revoked, but Stephanie McMahon is having none of that. She tells Charlotte to be thankful she isn't facing Nikki again today, but she gets Io Shirai instead........
3. Non-title: Dr. Britt Baker submitted Valentina Velos (formerly Catalina) with Lockjaw at 4:30. No Rebel at ringside.
Stephanie is now with Alexa Bliss, who has a rematch vs. Nia Jax next. Lily is still in time out after what happened to Shayna Baszler on 6/7, but may be back in time for Hell in a Cell.
"One question, Alexa. Lily's like a familiar, but can she take human form?"
"Good one. The answer will come sooner than anyone thinks."
4. Bliss def. Jax via Twisted Bliss in 11:30. Reginald is not at ringside, and has lost his privileges due to repeated violations.
Naomi is found backstage, laid out. Husband Jimmy Uso is attending to her, and someone mentions that Piper Niven & Eva Marie had left the room "five minutes ago". Stephanie hears this, and is seething.
5. Xia Li (w/Boa in the coach's box) def. Jesse Kamea via the spinning enziguri in 7:30.
6. UWA/WWE women's tag titles: Natalya & Tamina def. Indi Hartwell & Franky Monet (formerly Taya Valkyrie) at 9:20 when Monet left Indi behind to be pinned after a discus lariat.
Impact champions Fire & Flava (Tasha Steelz & Kiera Hogan) came out after, and issued a challenge for Firecracker Free-For-All, accepted by the champions.
Niven is being escorted out of the building. Samoa Joe tells Eva she will have a match, as another opponent has stepped forward......
7. Io Shirai def. Charlotte Flair in 23:30 with the moonsault after two Tiger Feint Kicks (619). Rey & Dominick Mysterio are watching on stage. Post-match, Rey gives Io a hug, but she kisses Dom, who's stunned.
Eva Marie is escorted to the arena by Samoa Joe and security. Joe tells her that what they have her do on Mondays is not going to be tolerated in the UWA, and there's a whole locker room full of women who've waited five years, dating back to Eva's aborted run on Smackdown, that want to get their hands on Eva for disrespecting the business.
8. Liv Morgan def. Eva Marie in 6:05. Mostly stalling on Eva's part to get heat, but she was already getting go away heat. Otherwise, Morgan squashed her like a bug, finishing Eva with ObLIVion (springboard STO off the ropes).
9. Scarlett def. Rebel in 2:30 with the spear. Squash.
10. UWA women's title: Bianca Belair def. Tenille Dashwood with the KOD in 11:30. Caleb with a K (Caleb Konley) was tossed before the match started, as he is banned from ringside for all of Tenille's UWA matches going forward.
