Taped in 2 parts, on 8/22-23, in Memphis.

We open with the Founders, accompanied by former NXT UK GM Johnny Saint and his assistant, Sid Scala, visiting from England. At issue is the Heritage Cup, which Noam Dar won, seemingly, for the 3rd time, on 8/22. However, citing interference from Oro Mensah in the critical final fall, and a cheap shot by Dar after the bell at the end of the 3rd round, Saint confirmed that Dar was disqualified, and must return the Cup to Nathan Frazer.

Dar came out with Meta-Four. His "coma" after Mensah lost the Cup on his behalf in June was a ruse all along, and he's not giving up the Cup until someone actually beats him for it. Stephanie McMahon said that this was not at all acceptable, and Dar will face Frazer in a rematch, with the rest of Meta-Four banned from the arena. If anyone interferes on Dar's behalf, he forfeits his claim to the Cup.

Due to this, the NXT Champions vs. Challengers match will take place September 9.

1. Trick Williams def. Mensah in 2:10 with the Ghetto Blaster (enziguri), the signature finisher of the late Allen Coage, aka Bad News Allen/Brown. Punishment squash.

A tribute to Terry Funk, who passed away on 8/23, will take place at Schoolyard Scuffle on 9/3.

2. Non-title: Tiffany Stratton def. Santana Garrett in 11:10 with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.

3. NXT Heritage Cup: Noam Dar vs. Nathan Frazer never started. Frazer was laid out in the back after being attacked by Dabba-Kato. In the ring, seeing the footage, Dar wanted a forfeit, but Scala, remembering Stephanie's statement from earlier, took the Cup, and declared the title vacant. Dar is suspended for misconduct, and will not return until he can prove he can win without help.

4. Von Wagner def. Baron Corbin in 4:30 with a released death valley driver.
5. Dark Angel (Stephanie under the mask) teamed with Valentina Feroz & Yulisa Leon to def. Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend, & Kiana James in 8:30. Jackson was pinned after a double splash by Leon & Feroz. Angel kept her eyes on Mensah, who was in the coach's box.

6. Non-title: Dijak def. Quincy Elliott in 4:30 with a discus boot to the head. Protracted squash.

7. Non-title: Keith Lee def. Jay Lethal in 11:50 with Supernova (Big Bang Catastrophe).

8. AEW vs. Ring of Honor title: Maxwell J. Friedman vs. Claudio Castagnoli ended in a double countout at 18:30. No Blackpool Combat Club. No Adam Cole.

9. TBS title: Kris Statlander def. Leyla Hirsch via Night Fever (formerly the Big Bang Theory) at 8:44.
