1. Chris Jericho def. Eric Escobar via submission with the Walls of
Jericho in 3:10. This was the match that had been booked for
Smackdown, but Vicki Guerrero illegally added Big Show at the last
minute as part of her vindictive campaign against the rookie. UWA
President Tully Blanchard said that Guerrero has once again been
suspended for misconduct, and cannot make matches on Challenge the
same way she has on Smackdown.
2. Non-title: Force Majeure (Brandon Burton & Mark Henry w/MVP) def.
Rhett Titus & Kenny King in 9:10 when Henry pinned King after the
World's Strongest Slam.
Post-match, MVP cut a promo and said that US champ The Miz was looking
for partners to challenge for the 6-man tag titles after beating Henry
on Raw. At Season's Beatings (12/23), Miz will have that opportunity,
but it's going to be a 10-person mixed tag elimination match. MVP
teaming with Force Majeure vs. Miz and 4 partners to be named. If
Miz's team wins, they get the 4 & 6-man tag titles.
3. Caylen Croft (w/Trent Berretta) def. Primo Colon in 5:30 with a
victory roll.
Sheamus interview. Believing he'll win the WWE title at TLC (12/13),
Sheamus is targeting Triple H at Season's Beatings, hence his laying
out both HHH & John Cena last week.
As a result of her actions on Raw, Maryse has been ordered to run the
gauntlet. If she can beat all 4 of her opponents, she'll get a title
shot vs. Melina for the WWE Divas title next week. And that gauntlet
match is next...
4. 1st fall: Maryse pinned Kelly Kelly with the French Kiss at 3:50.
2nd fall: Maryse pinned Eve Torres with a schoolgirl rollup at
8:40.
3rd fall: Maryse pinned Brie Bella (w/Nikki) at 11:05 with the
French Kiss.
4th fall: Mickie James (w/AJ Hunter) def. Maryse after the Mick
Kick 2.0 at 18:42.
Maryse, then, doesn't get the title shot vs. Melina, but will be in a
#1 contender's match next week for the UWA Women's title, with the
winner facing Tara at Season's Beatings.
5. UWA Women's title: Tara def. ODB in 9:10 with the Widow's Peak in a
return from Impact.
6. Non-title: Motor City Machineguns def. British Invasion (Rob Terry
& Brutus Magnus w/Doug Williams) in 8:30 when Alex Shelley pinned
Magnus after Sliced Bread #2.
7. Bobby Lashley def. Scott Steiner in 7:00 flat with the Dominator
2.0 (running powerslam). Blanchard was on commentary and said that
most of the matches Kevin Nash booked on Impact were stricken from the
record due to unfair, improper booking practices on Nash's part, and
that Nash will face Lashley next week as punishment.
8. Non-title: DX def. Sheamus & Big Show (w/Chris Jericho) in 11:30
when Shawn Michaels pinned Sheamus after the superkick.
Jericho attacked after the match, and "Jeri-Show"'s challengers at TLC
were left lying again.
9. Trent Berretta (w/Caylon Croft) def. Jimmy Wang Yang after a
running knee to the head in 7:11.
10. Non-title: John Cena def. Austin Aries in 13:43 after the Attitude
Adjustment.
