WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is seen leaving the building after being notified that the stipulation in his title defense vs. Riddle on 6/17 was declared unlawful restraint of trade, and Riddle gets a rematch next week. The Usos, however, have to stay, as they have a match in the Scott Hall Memorial Tag Team tournament today. The field has been redrawn due to recent title changes:
1. Street Profits vs. OGK (Matt Taven & Michael Bennett, representing Honor No More).
2. Usos vs. Violent By Design (Cody Deaner replaces Eric Young, teaming with Joe Doering).
3. FTR vs. Ross & Marshall Von Erich.
4. Young Bucks move up, and will face the Brawling Brutes.
5. Good Brothers replaced the team they beat for the Impact titles, the Briscoes, and will face La Rebellion, which drops to #12.
6. British Commonwealth (Doug Williams & Davey Boy Smith, Jr.) vs. Chase U (Andre Chase & Bohdi Hayward).
7. Creed Brothers vs. Matt Menard & Angelo Parker (Jericho Appreciation Society replaces reDRagon).
8. Briscoes vs. Viking Raiders.
1st round results:
1. Creeds def. Menard & Parker in 11:03. Julius pinned Parker after the sliding lariat.
2. British Commonwealth def. Chase U in 10:30. Doug Williams pinned Andre Chase after the Chaos Theory.
3. The Usos def. Violent by Design in 12:11. Jey pinned Cody Deaner after the Samoan Splash. Usos-Creeds in the 2nd round.
4. The Good Brothers def. La Rebellion in 10:11. Karl Anderson pinned Bestia 666 after the Magic Killer.
5. The Street Profits def. OGK in 9:55. Montez Ford pinned Matt Taven after the frogsplash.
The remaining 1st round matches take place next week.
Other action:
Solo Sikoa def. Grayson Waller in 2:20 in a return from Tuesday. Waller was cited for removing a turnbuckle pad to set up his finisher. The ref's discretion allowed for this to happen, but not this time. Total squash.
Judgment Day (Damian Priest & Finn Balor) def. House of Black (Malakai Black & Brody King) in 17:55. This was originally a 6 person tag, but with Buddy Matthews (shoulder) and Rhea Ripley (concussion) both scratched, Julia Hart was removed from the match, and it turned into 2-on-2.
Non-title: Indi Hartwell & Alba Fyre def. Mandy Rose & Jacy Jayne in 13:55. Fyre pinned Rose after the GoryBomb.
