AJ Hunter makes a rare (for him) appearance on ECW, acting as the
special enforcer referee. This will prove significant. Manu gets a
warning for attacking Evan Bourne. If he gets involved again, his team
(DiBiase/Rhodes/Mizanin/Morrison) will be disqualified. And that's
exactly what happens. He trespasses onto the apron for the 2nd
straight night, leading to an inverted hot shot on CM Punk by DiBiase,
but AJ stops ref Mike Posey's count after the Moonlight Drive
neckbreaker. He's waving off the pin attempt, and tells Posey the
match is over, calling for the bell. Team Priceless (DiBiase/Rhodes/
Manu) just gained a very dangerous enemy!
Booking Raw, 10/13:
GM Mike Adamle is explaining to AJ that World champ Chris Jericho is
backing out of the 8-man cage match, claiming he's not 100% after last
week, and needs to rest heading into Cyber Sunday. No go, says the
commish, who says Jericho can't get out of the match at all.
1. Cryme Tyme & Kelly Kelly def. John Morrison, Mike Mizanin, &
Jillian Hall in 6:14 when Miz was pinned after the G9.
DiBiase, Rhodes, & Manu leave the GM's office in a foul mood. They
have a six-man tag---next!
2. CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, & Evan Bourne def. Team Priceless in 7:35
when Punk pins Manu after the GTS. A receipt for last week.
Great Khali & Runjin Singh welcome Johnny Knoxville to the show. Khali
squashes Knoxville with the brain chop and the Khali Bomb when Johnny
hits on Lillian Garcia, whom Khali has suddenly become very fond
of.....
3. Jack Swagger, visiting from ECW, def. Charlie "Hollywood" Haas in
2:10 with the Doctor Bomb. Haas' attempt at imitating Hulk Hogan was
comically bad (which was the idea).
4. Jamie Noble & Mickie James def. William Regal & Layla El in 6:30
when Mickie pinned Layla with the MickieDT.
5. Non-title: Rey Mysterio def. Santino Marella in 8:34 with the 619
and the missile splash off the top. Beth Phoenix was ejected by ref
Mike Chioda halfway for tripping Mysterio. Not willing to take any
chances, Chioda threw the women's champ out. Marella was squashed soon
after that.
6. Shawn Michaels, Batista, & Force Majeure def. Kane, JBL, Chris
Jericho, & Lance Cade in an 8-man cage match lasting 16:35. Brandon
Burton hit the Sun Blocker moonsault off the top of the cage on Cade,
but Jericho saved with the Code Breaker. Michaels & AJ hit a double
superkick on Jericho. Kane hit a double chokeslam. Batista speared
Kane & JBL, then hit the Batista Bomb on a recovering Jericho to end
it.
Booking ECW, 10/14:
1. Jack Swagger def. Tommy Dreamer in 3:05 with the Doctor Bomb.
2. Mike Knox def. Super Crazy in 4:45 with the Knox-Out neckbreaker.
3. Finlay beats the returning Elijah Burke in 9:05 with the Celtic
Cross.
4. Matt & Jeff Hardy def. Mark Henry & Tony Atlas (the latter coming
out of retirement for one match) in 10:43 with Matt pinning Atlas
after the Twist of Fate/Swanton combo.
