The show opens with a memorial video recalling the 9/11 terrorist attacks 20 years ago, narrated by Taz.

The talent gathers onstage in Brooklyn for a 10 bell salute for the victims.

Announced for this week:

A cruiserweight battle royal. KUSHIDA vacated the title quietly last month after he was diagnosed with COVID-19. He should be ready to return later this month.

Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley with Molly Holly as guest ref. If Flair refuses to compete, she forfeits the title.

Hikuleo challenges Malakai Black for the UWA National title.

Maxwell J. Friedman, Long Island native, opens, swapping his scarf for a 3 piece suit. Breaking character, Max talks about being in grade school when the attacks occurred, and not being old enough to understand the gravity of the event. Max faces Ariya Daivari later.

1. Impact X Division title: Josh Alexander def. Sam Beale via Divine Intervention (Jay Driller) in 12:45.

2. Kay Lee Ray def. Aliyah with the KLR (Gory) Bomb in 4:55.

Ariya Daivari interview. While he is of Middle Eastern descent, as is brother Shawn, the truth is he is as American as anyone. When the fans chant "USA! USA!", it galvanizes both him & his opponent, in this case MJF.

3. National title: Malakai Black def. Hikuleo with Black Mass in 19:44.

4. Cruiserweight battle royal: Field includes both Daivari brothers, so Ariya will compete twice, Rich Swann, Kyle O'Reilly, Johnny Gargano, Leon Ruff, and Ricochet.

The final five are Ricochet, Gargano, Roderick Strong, Sammy Guevara, and Austin Theory. Theory & Gargano eliminated each other at the 32 minute mark. Guevara had Strong in a vulnerable position, but Hachiman (Hideki Suzuki) interfered, allowing Strong to eliminate Guevara, but ref Aubrey Edwards disallowed the elimination, disqualifying Strong for interference. Strong & Hachiman were ejected. At the 45 minute mark, Guevara won the title, as he skinned the cat to hold on while Ricochet fell over the top rope.

5. Raw women's title: Rhea Ripley def. Charlotte Flair via DQ in 11:45 when Flair purposely lariated Molly Holly over the top rope. Flair locked on the figure 8, but Holly called for the bell.

6. Bryan Danielson returned, now using his real name, and submitted Michael Nakazawa with the Cattle Mutilation in 5:40. Nakazawa stalled, then was squashed.

Adam Cole & Dr. Britt Baker came out for a joint promo. Cole admitted to being a little over-protective on Wednesday when he ripped into Tony Schiavone on Dynamite, noting that the veteran announcer has been an off-screen mentor to Britt. He issued an open challenge. Oh, is he going to regret that!

7. Indi Hartwell & Dexter Lumis upset Cole & Baker in 11:30. Hartwell hit the Falcon Arrow to counter out of Lockjaw and pin Baker. No Jamie Hayter.

8. Ariya Daivari made it two upsets in a row as he def. MJF in 12:55 with a tornado DDT. Tony Nese, who was Daivari's tag team partner on 205 Live until both were cut, was in his friend's corner to offset Wardlow.

9. NXT North American title: Isaiah "Swerve" Scott def. Gargano (2nd match) with the House Call in 17:30. B-Fab and Hartwell were in the respective coaches' boxes.
