From Oakland:

1. Josh Briggs (w/Fallon Henley) def. Baron Corbin in a return match from Tuesday. They weren't given enough time on Tuesday, but this time, Briggs pinned Corbin after what amounted to a clothesline from hell in 11:04.

After the faces left, Bron Breakker hit the ring, and he & Corbin brawled to the back, setting up their match at No Mercy later in the evening.

The Rascalz (Trey Wentz, formerly Nash Carter in NXT, & Trey Miguel) are meeting with Stephanie McMahon, protesting the fact that they are not getting a tag title match vs. the Creed Brothers. Wentz reaches for some spray paint, only to find that Jack Hunter crushed the can.

"This is why you don't get a title shot.", he hissed, impersonating the late Kevin Conroy's Batman voice. The Treys left. Stephanie impulsively put her arm around Jack. Triple H is in Bakersfield for No Mercy, but Jack is wise to whatever Stephanie had in mind.

"Let's not feed the gossips.", he quipped.

2. Nia Jax def. Xia Li in 3:30 with the AnNiailator. Squash. Li was used as a jobber here.

3. UWA Women's tag titles: Katana Chance & Kayden Carter def. Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy & Kelsie Paige) in 6:55. Envy was pinned after the Afterparty. Kelsie's sister, Kenzie, the NWA women's champ, faces Asuka later.

It was announced that Dijak was suspended 15 days for misconduct after a post-match attack on Eddy Thorpe on Tuesday after Thorpe won their match. New National champion Bobby Lashley will defend vs. Thorpe later.

4. Non-title: FTR def. The Rascalz in 13:55. Miguel was pinned after the Shatter Machine.

5. UWA women's title: Asuka submitted Kenzie Paige with the Asukalock in 13:50.

Kenny Omega is meeting with Jack. He's figuring Don Callis and his ersatz "nuclear family" ambushed Kota Ibushi in Japan was a means of Callis getting out of the 6-man main event. It isn't.

"When it comes to athletes from Winnipeg,", Jack says, "Callis is at the bottom of the list, after the city's Little Leaguers."

6. National title: Bobby Lashley submitted Eddy Thorpe for the 2nd straight week with the Hurt Lock in 9:53.

7. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger & Trick Williams def. Scrypts, Bronco Nima, & Lucien Price in 7:50. OTM (Out The Mud, Price & Nima's new team name) was DQ'd Tuesday for Scrypts' interference. Williams pinned Scrypts after a jumping knee strike, the same finish he used on Joe Gacy on Tuesday.

Dark Angel is escorting Jack to the ring, as he'll team with Omega & Chris Jericho. Next!!

8. Jericho, Omega, & Hunter def. Don Callis, Konosuke, Takeshita, & Sammy Guevara in 16:30. No Will Ospreay. Callis was left all alone with Hunter, and was promptly destroyed. Three Gatecrasher splashes, an F-5, and the Last Ride finished Callis. Angel (Stephanie) watched from the coach's box, but kept looking over her shoulder, and with good reason.

After the match, she entered the ring, just as the remaining Outcasts came out. They, too, are upset that they can't get title shots because of using the spray paint. As Jack points out, the paint is forbidden in UWA rings because of the health hazard it causes. Ruby Soho & Saraya will have a match next week, but they're not going to like their opposition one bit, as they'll face Damage CTRL, with the winners to face Chance & Carter at Full Moon Frenzy October 29. Worse, if the spray paint is used, the Outcasts go back on the suspended list until January.

Announced for next week:

UWA tag titles: The Creeds vs. The Kingdom.
UWA World title: Keith Lee vs. ????
