On the eve of Double or Nothing, the action is fast & furious in Houston.

The show opens with a moment of silence for the victims of the Robb Elementary massacre on Tuesday in Uvalde.

1. Mae Young Classic, divisional semi-finals: Sarray def. Sofia Cromwell in 8:34 with the Shining Wizard. Cromwell replaced the injured Nikkita Lyons (partial MCL tear). Sarray faces Alba Fyre in the divisional finals next week.

It was announced that Chris Jericho has been suspended 60 days for gross misconduct for using a fireball on a backstage worker on Wednesday and on Eddie Kingston a few weeks earlier.

2. Owen Hart women's tournament, semi-final rematch: Dr. Britt Baker, DMD def. Toni Storm via judges decision after a 15 minute draw. Baker was DQ'd on Wednesday for leverage & interference (Jamie Hayter), and this rematch was ordered. If Baker refused to agree to the match, she would've been kicked out of the tournament for cheating, something her beau, Adam Cole, has avoided in the men's tournament.

3. Mae Young Classic, divisional semi-finals, non-title: Bianca Belair def. Rhea Ripley in 18:44 with an avalanche KOD. The rest of Judgment Day (Edge & Damian Priest) were not at ringside at Ripley's request.

4. Non-title: The Street Profits def. 2point0 (Angelo Parker & Matt Menard) in 3:11 with Parker pinned after a Montez Ford frogsplash. Parker & Menard were punished for the Jericho fireball.

5. UWA Cruiserweight title: Kushida returned, and dropped the title to Nathan Frazer in 17:40. Frazer won the title with the Phoenix Splash.

Adam Pearce is reaming out an NXT ref who made two bad calls on Tuesday. First, he didn't call for a DQ against Mandy Rose, only because Jacy Jayne didn't initiate contact with Indi Hartwell, but she was illegally in the ring, and that is not permitted. 2nd time in three weeks this has happened in a match involving Toxic Attraction. Rose gets DQ'd as a result, and now must defend the NXT women's title vs. Hartwell in 2 weeks at Edge of Summer, provided Wendy Choo doesn't get there first. Second, both Duke Hudson (due to Joe Gacy's interference) and Bron Breakker were DQ'd on Tuesday because the ref didn't call for the bell on the druids. In our version, Gacy is out of In Your House, and Hudson is in.

6. Non-title: Breakker destroyed Grayson Waller in 2:05 via submission with the recliner. Waller had cut a promo pre-match mocking Breakker, and paid for it.

7. National title: Keith Lee def. Jake Hager via Big Bang Catastrophe in 11:30.

Joe Gacy is out for a promo. He's upset that he has had his title shot taken away "on a technicality", as he claims, but he will be at In Your House.

Abruptly, Scott Steiner's 2002-4 WWE Titantron lights up, but it's a feint. Instead of Big Poppa Pump (Breakker's uncle), Jack Hunter appears behind Gacy, and destroys him with the Last Ride.

The fields for the Scott Hall Memorial singles & tag tournaments will be announced next week.

8. The Brawling Brutes (Pete "Butch" Dunne & Ridge Holland, managed by Sheamus) def. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode in a crossover match in 11:30. Dunne pinned Ziggler after the Bitter End.

Adam Pearce came out after the match. He announced that because the WWE tag titles are vacant (UWA is taking stewardship of the men's & women's tag titles due to corporate malfeasance), we will crown new champions next week. The Brutes will face the Usos. The Mysterios will face The Miz & US champion Theory, and the winners will be in the main event. Also, the UWA women's tag titles will be decided, as the Hex will defend vs. Natalya & Shayna Baszler.
