Pardon my ignorance, but who is Shane Douglas? Please give us a little bio

Shane Douglas, born Troy Martin, was THE man to start ECW. In an NWA
tournament, Shane beat TooCold Scorpio<Flash Funk> to win the NWA World
belt. Already holding the Eastern Championship Wrestling title(to be named
extreme later) Shane denounced the NWA belt and declared the ECW title to
WORLD heavyweight status. Dubbed "the Franchise" due to his work put into
ECW he was one of the industries biggest heels. The most famous event I can
remember was when one of the Pitbull#1(a tagteam in ECW) had a broken neck,
his partner was wrestling Shane. Shane was pummeling Pitbull#2 when PB1
stepped in the ring with a head halo on. PB1 threw a towel at Shane to stop
the match. Shane threw the towel back at him and grabed PB1 by the Halo and
shook him back and forth a few times. The crowd went insane! They started
jumping the rails to get their hands on Shane(who had to be escorted out of
the builing) He is about 6-6 260 lbs. Kind of a BADASS body type with
blond hair and possibly a goatee. A great mic worker and mat technician.

Shane Douglas is one of the best heels in the history of Wrestling, came
into WWF briefly in 1995 as Dean Douglas at college Dean who taught us all
how to spell during his video clips held the IC belt for around 11 minutes
when he lost it to Razor Ramon after Shawn Micheals had forfeited the title
to Douglas before the match. In ECW Douglas has become the top star with 4
HeavyWeight title reigns, one lasting over a year he is also 2 time TV
champion aswell. Back in 1992 he was with WCW where he had 1 Title regin as
Tag Team Champion with Ricky the Dragon Steamboat.

If Douglas does go to the WWF he will proberly become number 1 heel, as the
Rock is now a face.

As HartBrakeKid said, the man who started ECW. He was the one who denounced
the Eastern Championship Wrestling belt, and renamed it the Extreme
Championship Wrestling belt. A monster heel, and usually accompanied by his
valet, Francine, Douglas started the Triple Threat - a bit like The Four
Horsemen, but with less members (duh!).

He really went over the edge as a heel when he broke Pitbull #1's neck in
the summer of 1996. He compounded this by attacking Pitbull #1 when his neck
was in a brace.

He had a little stint in the WWF, where he was given one of the worst
gimmicks of all time - a teacher, who studied his opponents to find their
weaknesses. It's since he went back to ECW that's he's become such a star.

Rumored to be heavily "on the gas" (steroids) he cuts a great figure - a but
like a shorter, pumped-up Billy Gunn.

before he left and came back as the most honourable Dean?
