Cornette. I was estatic when Jim decided to open up a collectible's
store with all of his treasues that he has accumulated over a vast
career. Unfortunately, I have had a very bad interaction with a member
of his staff and possibly Jim himself if what is said is true. I
believe I was treated wrongly and rudely and if the staff member was a
little more clear in his directions, this would have been a much
smoother transaction.
Down below follows my emails to the staff member regarding my request
for the autographed Midnight Express book and my interest in the
Midnight Express DVD.

Hello Georgie,
I wanted to pass along an experience I had with Jim Cornette's
company, "Cornette's Collectibles." When the first site first came up
a few months ago, I was VERY interested and wanted to obtain the
autographed book he was offering from him and all the members of the
Midnight Express. For customers in the situation of not having a
credit card, the site was offering to solicit emails from those people
and have the book on reserve so that the book would still be
available, as the mailing address was not available on the site as of
yet to send a money order. I never received a return email notifying
me of where to send a money order and a follow up email was ignored as
well. Unfortunately, the emails sent for this were through their site,
as the site also did not have an actual email address to send an
individual email to. I never received confirmation of having my book
be put on the side nor was I ever given an address to send the money
order to.
I decided to try and see if I could obtain a Midnight Express DVD and
expressed my displeasure for not being given the common courtesy of a
retun email for the book. Down below is the emails sent to the
company.
I don't know if Jim actually said what he said, but I honestly can't
believe peopel like this person are helping to run his company. Along
with Bobby Heenan, I thought Jim was an amazing talent. It would be a
shame if I had a bad taste in my mouth simply becuase of this one bad
experience.

hate mail I would receive because of this circumstance.
All I simply wanted to do was support Jim in his new endeavor.
Unfortunately, I have no desire to want to do so after this
encounter.

I find it hard to believe that you will find a self publish book from
our company on ebay.If you do...GREAT! More power to you.The book is
ONLY available by us but again you said trade shows..erm yeah that
would be us too. Knock yourself out though. Your $25 is not going to
keep us up at night. The fact that you think we're upset by you is
laughable.
Second, Jim wanted me to send that email to you and actually HIS exact
words were "Blow it out your a$$" I thought I was being a little
nicer.
Third..we don't need your business, that is why we OWN our own fucking
business you tool.We can "reserve the right to refuse service to
anyone".As of right now it has only been you so, you can be proud of
that. Again if you read anything I said in the last email, you would
understand in that small brain of yours that we don't normally do
"special orders" instructions for money orders. Because most people
with brain like our regular customers of over 1500, know how to send a
fucking money order with out us holding their hand. I simply was
trying to make it easy as it possibly can be because you are obviously
stunted in your intelligence.
Lastly, don't assume you know anything about Jim or I to think "Corny
would be SO proud of you!!!!" .As far as I'm aware you aren't his
friend so that's Mr. Cornette to you.It doesn't take his genius to
know from one email what a fucking loser dumb a$$ you are.For future
reference,your attitude is JD Costello son.

P.s. We also have the power of message boards..Your name will be
posted on as "do not sell to". Thanks for your email and home address.
With our hundreds of reviews of "customer service" being our gem I
sincerely doubt 1 asshole like you is going to tarnish our reputation.

OK...now WHO is being snotty here? YOU should have told us paying
customers from the start who would pay with a money order about the
special instructions box from the start instead of telling us to email
you when you knew full well you couldn't accomdate us. Secondly, you
must be incomptent if THAT is the way you want to run your business.
If you had complied with my request the first time around , you and I
would not be having this conversation NOW,now would we? And if anyone
is bashing anyone it is YOU, berating the paying customer who is
willing to buy this stuff and line your pockets. Sorry I don't want to
have a paypal account and pay their outrageous fees. And I'm not
following up on my first order...I can see it was ignored, in addition
to a second email that was sent a week after my first one.
Fortunately, there is the wonderful world called eBay...or
conventions...or trading...I just wanted to go about the RIGHT way to
obtain this merchandise...however, I can see it is not worthwhile for
me to do so, so I will obtain these by other means at my disposal. The
best way to hurt a business is the old fashioned way...in the ol'
pocketbook...OUCH!!!!! That's gotta sting huh? I will give my dollars
to someone else who already paid for that stuff instead of giving my
hard earned dollars to you and I might be able to even get it
cheaper...hahahahaha.
Good luck with your business. I will also report my findings to others
on message boards and other ways of communication...so good
job...Corny would be SO proud of you!!!!

We did apologise and quite frankly don't care for your snotty
attitude. So the answer to your rude response below...in a word NO.As
I stated previously we had 250 limited edition signed books.We've sold
out and they will not be available again.The "special instructions"
note below, was for your benefit. Normally we don't do anything like
that but, we thought we'd try to simplify for your order for you.
There is no reason to be a jerk and bash our way of doing business
when we are trying to comply with your requests.Furthermore, you are
just now following up on an email from "months ago"? There is a lot of
"ifs" in your email. IF you had a paypal account like the hundreds of
our regular satisfied customers do,we wouldn't be having this
conversation.
Enclosing, "I think perhaps" YOU should purchase your items
elsewhere.Unfortunately for you, this is the only site that carries
the merchandise you are requesting.Ouch.

I think perhaps it would have been a good idea then if you had told me
to use the special instructions box for the signed book instead of
having me email you to reserve the book as it was stated on th site to
begin with. I would have sent a money order out the days following
that and you would have gotten it in time to send me the book. Would
it be possible to request a signed book at this point?

Hello,
A couple of months ago, I emailed from this very space and asked for a
signed copy of the Midnight Express book to be put on the side so I
could have time to purchase a money order. Unfortunately, my email was
never addresed or responded to, as a short while later, the signed
copy of the book was no longer available.
I am now asking for a copy of the DVD of the Midnight Express matches
to be put on the side for me to purchase a money order. I wonder if
this request will be ignored as my previous request was.
