Hi Doug....

Still lovin' FindNot.com and have referred a couple of people to you and
they seem very happy too. I DO have a suggestion as far as signup is
concerned. Your merchant account charges US citizens in Canadian dollars and
makes it much higher than paying through PayPal. However, you have your
PayPal setup so that one has to open a PayPal account to send you money.
**This is no longer required when a seller is selling from a website.** You
just need to go to "Profile" - "Selling Preferences" - "Website Payment
Preferences" - Scroll down to "PayPal Account Optional" - and tick the "on"
radio button. That's it! From the PayPal website concerning this:
****When PayPal Account Optional is turned on, your customers who are new to
PayPal will no longer be required to create a PayPal account to complete a
purchase葉hey will go through an alternate checkout, and will have the
option to sign up afterward. Customers who already have PayPal accounts will
continue to enjoy the privileges of those accounts, such as payment history
and integration with eBay Auctions, and their checkout experience will
remain the same. This feature is available for Buy Now, Donations, and
Shopping Cart buttons, but not for Subscription buttons.*****

Thanks again for a GREAT service!

I just realized that you might be using the "subscription" method, which I
just saw forces signup. Sorry!

Actually, I was hoping for a cheaper way to pay. If that's making something
out to be the greatest invention since the wheel......whatever. As for
dropped connections, I don't have them. Though, I use the straight VPN and
have never used the ssh proxy. Maybe that's what you're talking about. BTW,
the term "troll" is wayyyy overused. You may not like what I posted, but
that does not make me a "troll"......Sorry if I like findnot and that
irritates you. It's the best solution I've found so far. I also like Cotse
and have heard good things about Privacy.li. I am a casual user of these
services though and don't take it quite as seriously as some do. And before
someone says it, I KNOW that some people *must* take it seriously. It's just
that what I do with them aren't life and death matters.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I will double check but I
think the new checkout paypal option only works for non-subscriptions
and we sell subscriptions. The Canadian dollar pricing for credit
cards is not due to the exchange. It is due to the fraud.
Unfortunately that raises the cost for everyone using that payment
method. I am not sure how changing the paypal checkout will affect
your pricing. Please elaborate. Thanks, Doug
