and from the looks of things on everybody who does not agree with you?
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion no matter how right or wrong it
is. None of you will directly answer the questions asked about pcbutts. You
keep pointing to here and pointing to there. You bring his name up in almost
every post. You all act like you have been hurt by him the way you all keep
at him or her. From reading his/her blog it is perfectly clear to me that
you are all sick. It is perfectly clear the she has control over your
actions here and this has been going on for what 3-4 years? By my count just
from this group alone it is 10-1 against her and she is winning. NO ONE is
that bad. If what you say is really true about pcbutts then he/she would
have been stopped a long time ago. if you all are so broke that you can't
scrounge up $35 between the ten of you to file a suit, since you all agree
that is the only thing to stop her. I will give you the money if it will
mean you all will shut up already about her. She is right you all are a
bunch of crybabies and your constant bickering has ruined this group.

Here, this explains the truth:
You've been clearly exposed as a thief when you pirated code containing
a special marker enter by the real author, the file named
"obatssrsghde.exe" was a marker inserted into Stuarts batch file you
stole from him, it was a KEY that proves you're a thief:
For those that don't know, Stuart inserted the obatssrsghde.exe marker
into his batch file to prove, to the community, that PCBUTTS1 / The Real
Truth MVP is actually a lying thief, and PCBUTTS admitted in his own
post that he created the marker and claimed to know what it was - even
claimed to have submitted the malware to anti-virus vendors, but the
joke was on him, Stuart told everyone in the community about it BEFORE
it appeared in PCBUTTS1 download.... There is no actual file named
obatssrsghde.exe in the malware community, it was a ruse.
The key is in the spelling (shifted one character):
obatssrsghde.exe
pcbuttsthief
If you change (add) 1 character to each letter you will see that
"obatssrsghde" is actually the marker "pcbuttsthief" - proving that
PCBUTTS1 is a thief.
Are there other markers - YES, does PCBUTTS1 know about them - no,
they've been there for a long time, but this is the most obvious one.
Face it Chris/PCBUTTS1/TRT, you've exposed yourself in public.

Mr. Lipman ... I have no problem with people being upset over IP theft. How
long will you all complain about it before you either move on, or sue the
person over it? What you are doing now is really not productive and doesn't
help anyone. It just serves to keep everyone torqued up and angry instead
of at peace and moving forward.

You really have misunderstood me altogether. The fellow who began this
thread had some strong words for me when I was participating in another
thread that was pretty much the same topic, yet, he goes and begins a new
topic and then calls it ON TOPIC for this spyware ng. It helps no one.

I'm afraid you have me mixed up with someone who can't look at issues like
this w/o cursing and being angry at everyone. I have a unique perspective
because I can look at everyone's viewpoint and come to a reasonable
conclusion because I have no emotional stake in the issue.
Frankly, I like malwarebytes program and would and have recommended it to
several people since I began using it.

In response to those who criticise anyone who attempts to warn new/
unsuspecting/unknowing posters of the character and online activities
of Butts, which include thief, compulsive liar, no understanding of
the stolen scripts he promotes, lack of knowledge, bad ethcic/morals.
Whilst some take issue with a particular point, others choose more
general warnings, irrespective of their chosen methods it must be
acknowledged they have been mainly successful in preventing the
distribution and use of Remove-it which should NEVER be run on any
computer.
Even if we overlook content he has added which many consider to be
malicious, users are being subjected to his lack of understanding
commands and how other peoples scripts work which is dangerous to the
end user.
1) In response to the very occasional variant which hooks into a
computers winsock stack, Butts added a line of code to utilise the
netsh command, this runs each and every time irrespective of whether
the winsock has been infected, here are a couple of comments from
Microsoft regarding netsh
Warning, Programs that access or monitor the Internet such as
antivirus, firewall, or proxy clients may be negatively affected when
you run the netsh winsock reset command.
Warning, The netsh int ip reset command will reset all IP
information, default gateway information, and DNS server information.
Before you restart the computer after you run this command, you must
configure your TCP/IP settings.
2) A registry script called Nfig.reg has been added which will remove
some system and explorer registry keys and not replace them their
default (or any other) values.
3) More worryingly, he insists on promoting its use on Windows 2000
systems despite the scripts being written specifically for XP,
differences between the two systems (well one in particular) is likely
to render the computer with 2000 highly unstable or inoperable.
Any person who puts a users computer to those risks in any forum is
very untrustworthy and unreliable and will, quite rightly be exposed
by those who have a genuine intention to help others as often as the
perpetrator makes it necessary.
Any person who defends or supports such activities will also, quite
rightly be subject to similar criticism or ridicule without a
justifiable objection.
Far worse than these debates is the potential consequences if users
were not warned of Butts

I doubt they have stopped one person from downloading it.
Most would look at their posts and assume they are a bunch of children
and ignore their ramblings. I expect the majority who would download it
would not come anywhere near this group.
I am sure you and all the *regulars* are saints and have never stolen or
abused another's copyright ever. Right!
For the record, pcbutts was the first person I killfiled in this group
so I am not siding with him. But the reason he went into my killfile was
not because he 'copied' your script.

For the record, I'm really not close at all and any instance of his
being watched is not my doing. I don't see his posts except when quoted,
and pay him no heed. What I do see portrays such a ridiculous image that
all I need to know is evidenced by his own failure to recognize how he
presents himself to others, and more's the pity. That a few others buy
into, or appear to buy into, his spew tells me most of what I need to know
about them. Usually not much more to guess except what color the sock is,
and which hand it's on.
Until recently I had no idea what he looked like. But, since I often
frequent the same area, chance encounters do occur. I bite my tongue and go
about my business. Those eyes definitely counter-rotate.
JPL softball team rosters were posted online through 2008 - some with
photos. Everything else can be found with a bit of web searching and
reasoning. Far from isolation is right. The whole tale is a sad open book.
