ZoneAlarm says it has blocked attempts from a site workprogress.com
What the heck is that? Going to the site only adds to the mystery.
Anybody know what they're up to?

Those bastards used Adobe Photoshop 4.0 to make that picture of the
green line!

Wait... that's not so bad.

On the surface it appears to be a real estate development company
operating out of Pennsylvania.

Why did you call yourself schtickmeister?

Oh.... do you want their phone number? Andrew prefers to be called
Andy evidently.

They could be a zombie. What that means is that a
hacker could have penetrated them, and is then using
them to scan for other systems open for an exploit.

If you're on a dynamic IP, there's another, far simpler
and less dire explanation. The previous user of the IP
address could have a perfectly legitimate connection
with that site, and they are using a stale IP. This happens
with fair regularity. Mild paranoia is all very well, but
some things do have simple causes.

MOTAR thinks you are giving someone too much credit on this one.
Your reply is possible, but the post was more than likely a test.

Most of the return info from the simple internet queries come up
blank. MOTAR dug a little deeper.

In article <3d1f1194...@news.atl.bellsouth.net>, mo...@motar.corn
says...
Methinks thou hast judged in haste, yon Motar!
I periodically check to see what my zonealarm has stopped and this came
from something with an actual URL which is not publicly
acceptable......I am not testing, just asking. This is not to say I
don't appreciate your advice or that of John Roth. I do and I thank you
both!
P.S. in answer to a previous query: I call myself schtickmesister only
because ComicGenius was taken!

MOTAR likes to do that since MOTAR never rules out any possible option
when they present themselves.

MOTAR always absorbs all available data and back traces everything
from the agenda which prevails. MOTAR may not be smarter than anyone,
but MOTAR can damn well think faster than most people.

Just checking. You should consider being imperious.
