During the next few weeks I will separate zedz and dizum,
this has some implications for both. Both will be vitualised
zedz will remain as crypto ftp/http archive, dizum will take
on the role as guardian of privacy & anonimity.

zedz.net will retain its old ip adress while dizum.com will
get a new IP: 192.109.206.211. This IP has been added to the
allowed list for most usenet peers. The new server has been
installed, configured and populated with the dizum programs.

These need to be tested (ie does 'drop in' really work as
expected) and the mailserver needs to configured. When that
is finished I will change the dns to point to the new IP and
I will announce it here.

As I expect to have to fix stuff I will do the changeover
at a time where I have 'ample' time to fix :)

All this should result in a even better uptime and service.

So if stuff points to the .211 and stops working, ping me
here. Otherwise please be patient :)

Thanks.

Cheers,
Alex

Alex, thanks for all you have done over the many, many years for the
community.

Can you say what will happen with the nym server; will it be coming
back?

You beat me to it.

Now if we can just get Zax interested in doing something for the
remailer community. ;)

Zax has been hard at it for one hell-of-a-long time, but with cretins like
you mouthing off, I wouldn't blame him if he told you to shove it and shut
down his excellent remailers.

Get a life nit-wit.

Once the migration has completed succesfully, I will see if I can setup
nym.dizum.nl again. However it will be unsupported, just as the rest of
the dizum services.

Any chance of the nym server being restored with the user database as
it existed at the time the service was stopped, or will we have to
start over and create our nyms again from scratch?

Thanks

It never ceases to amaze me how cold blooded some people are in
apas. Nevertheless, I am sure that Zax knew that I was just
kidding. You are obviously so stupid you didn't even notice the
winking emocon at the end of the message.

But I am always glad to genup destructive, angry body poisons in
people like you. The quicker stupid, nasty people like you are off
the earth, the better.

Don't be too hard on them. You have to remember that there are
sullen, lifeless, soulless, godless, 'walking dead' Europeans who
read this group, as well as stupid American Democrats. They can't
see or pick up on American and British satire and reverse humor.
