Grant Taylor's nyt7rlpjogd24qx7.onion hasn't worked, for me at least, for a
week. I used it on 587.

gbhpq7eihle4btsn.onion stopped working months ago.

The frell one a6sy4mr4vpnnfhlop2vthsi4heaonouxtrat2hpz2dzbcf45twpxvzyd.onion
stopped earlier.
An earlier frell one also sopoccfrkrpuiin5.onion:2525

The only one working, on port 25, is
b42o7yhesx3fon7bzak4rkq7ax2yoanzapykqpzyznil6obcybe3zlyd.onion

Is it the only one operational?

Thanx.

Is your Tor client up-to-date?

I'm not aware of any problems with the MTA on the host. (It's my
primary mail server, so I usually see things quickly.)

My initial question is if it's an Onion v2 vs v3 issue.

I have not disabled v2 support yet. I was waiting for Tor to completely
disable v2 before turning it off. The v3 address should work just fine.

It looks like v2 is supposed to be dead. To quote the Tor Project's
page (link below):

"In October 2021, we will release new Tor client stable versions for all
supported series that will disable v2."

That's the v3 address for the same system.

It was supposed to.

v2 .onion addresses became defunct officially in October.

It has been replaced by v3 .onion address

3fd6guyxldqnjaqtfzejnjvq6bj7ilv5u7g7ovbubhwoeqhc222zvrad.onion

which just works fine and dandy.
