Cell doors opening in the night mystery

Some US prisons seem to have experienced paranormal activity, specifically all of the cell doors suddenly opening inside a pod. I heard this kind of activity has a greater chance of happening if there is a "Jared Fogle" in the unit, or more often when an inmate hurts a C.O.'s fee fees.
This bizarre event (IIRC) happened at a prison when all the cell doors suddenly opened, and a gang member got attacked by rivals who were houses in the same unit. He ended up jumping off the top tier to escape his attackers. No Fogles or C.O.'s fee fees that I can remember which makes this one even more bizarre
