The inmate is stewing in his fee fees, getting angrier and angrier. The whole thought process is like a perpetual motion machine that generates more and more energy until he has a hulk out. He gets up from the bunk, and begins throwing his whole body weight against the steel cell door with the intent of ripping it of the hinges:

THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM

(the door vibrates violently but the CO ignores him)

THROOM THROOM THROOM

THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM

THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM
THROOM THROOM THROOM

The inmate has had enough. His whole body is sore, and the steel cell door remains firmly in place.

The inmate takes exception to your reply, so he donkey kicks his
steel shitbox door for 30 minutes straight. The CO of course
ignores him

This CO would have been beating on the outside of his door if he
wouldn't stop.

The inmate would be unfazed, and would infact enjoy this human
contact. Really they do become fearless when they have absolutely
nothing to lose. And the prospect of being billy clubbed and
maced by men who are padded up more than American football
players does not bother them either.

This is the same group that will cut their own balls off with a
contraband razor blade sometimes for the hell of it, so recieving a
beatdown is a cakewalk for them.

Long term solitary really fucks up the human mind.

Gearing up and cell rushing people was a rarity where I worked. I
totally agree with the above sentence.

The description I gave was just the low "R" rated version of what goes on in there, and what is shown on all the documentaries and news specials
is PG-13 and low R. The actual reality
is much, much, MUCH worse for
inmates and guards alike. Stuff that requires
years of therapy to manage the PTSD that
those in both sides of the bars end up aquiring.
