While Anita Diamant may have been the first to have taken
biblical liberty with her bestseller book "The Red Tent", it's
now time to welcome another author whose first book,
"Prophet of Israel", will keep you reading from the very
first expressed word to the final statement of precision.
Timothy S. Wilkinson has officially joined the ranks of the
best writers known for writing rich biblical tales. His
first book "Prophet of Israel" is based on so much
historical fact and research, that you find yourself living
in-between each and every page. Who dare say that they can
surpass his magic with making words come alive? I know of
none other.
Based on the life of the Prophet Samuel, Mr. Wilkinson tells
a tale that is both beautiful and hideous. A tale where the
characters are impelled at you and will linger forever in
your heart if not your mind. It's a book where the holiest
places on earth are dead, lifeless yet pleading for goodness
in following God's word. A book of faith, hopes and trust
while living through endless days of hell. You will not be
able to set this book down for long.
The "Prophet of Israel" is the first of Mr. Wilkinson's
books of the Eternal Throne Chronicles. What a gift God has
given this young man. Hopefully, the wait for "Book Two:
Judge of Israel" will not be long in it's making.
