Try to lock a utopian dream into reality and you always have problems
with überlords. I'm sure there are Kibbutz [what’s the plural of
Kibbutz?] in Israel whose members have a live and let live attitude
towards the Palestinians in general, if not Hamas, but are powerless
to stop their greater government from making Gaza into a concentration
camp or prevent the slaughter of innocent people. “Never again!” cuts
both ways...
Those uberlords I call the "hungry lions" of the "jungle" (globalized
economy).
They can easily control the sheep (the Cristians and others) who are
ready to follow them into a cliff.
Only hope is a project where both predators and prey find some space
for common survival. I see it happening in Europe, so there's some
slim hope for the world... but the clock is ticking.
I have no problem with the idea of a global economy based on quid pro
quo [something for something], but with fiat money in currency that
changes value at the whim of unseen hands the de facto state of
affairs is quid pro credo [something exchanged for a belief]. The
very idea of any mandatory belief is totalitarian and repugnant to
me.

[off a cliff?] So-called "leaders" who sit secure while ordering their
"followers" into harm's way, urged on with the plea of necessity is
the problem.

The European Union is not helping. It hasn’t condemned the illegal
wars the US is waging. 9-11 was just another Reichstag type pretext
for war profiteering.

You don't get out much, do you? It hasn't been released on the big screen
yet.

Christians are like Slinkys. They're boring, but they'll put a smile on
your face when you push them down the stairs.
The world is a jungle.
There was a jungle who had the monkeys ignored and subjugated, then
came a little lion from abroad, gathered all those unhappy monkeys,
and together they beat the lion with the help of deceit. And then the
new lion betrayed the monkeys and got bigger and hungrier than the old
one.
It's a metaphor that makes sense applied to the conquest of Mexico and
other places. Castro followed the same strategy in modern times. And I
can cite many more examples (I must speak in parables as much as
possible).
In the movie Apocalypto the young Indian couple when faced with the
decision to join the new lion, decides to go back to the real jungle
alone and not join the fight between predators. A good parable to live
by today.
Going one's own way in Peace always makes sense to me. :^)
It will be on this Friday the 13th.

Have you seen the trailers? Looks like a total EFX-fest to me. Probably
just another movie in search of a plot.

The Smaller European Lion is afraid to challenge the Big King of the
Jungle over small things like Iraq.
Lions are all about eating, and they are afraid to hurt their
commerce.
Still, their internal policies do favor more the little fish.
Can we hope for more? Yes, that's why I propose:
Sometimes I'm afraid to go out into the jungle on my bike when the
Christian Big Fish in his SUV may eat me.
But I don't know about the status of the movie because I wouldn't care
to pay money for that. Anyway we all know Hollywood is part of the Big

Well, also you must save yourself for the Big One, don't we? ;)
I bet it won't even be explosive, but more like Tantra love.
Are the Christians watching their own doom?
I don't care because I'm neutral. I wouldn't just pay for the
ticket. ;)
I think it's a warning for the Christians.
I personally support the struggles of the Indians, and I'm all for
justice and natural space for them.

I nearly got eaten by an 18-wheeler the other day. And I thought those
guys were professional drivers.
What do you ride? I have a Vulcan Nomad (04) and a Honda Nighthawk 750
(92).
I could live with ANY form of government as long as everyone has to
play by the same set of rules.
From what I've seen of it, the EFX is there to try and distract viewers from
a massively muddled plot. (We'll find out Friday afternoon.)
Such a rental.

Oh, I ride both bicycles and motorcycles, but I'm in the mundane world
of pedalling for now.
My effort to help the bipedal species. ;)
I make a lot of noise (like any monkey would) about issues that have
made our roads so Darwinistic, a part of the Christian world where the
big fish eats the little fish (you and me). SUV drivers chatting on
the phone are my main pet peeve.
Something that is NOT predatory, I guess...

Yup, no shit.
Cell phones disrupt the attention span. On my Nomad this
early evening, I was rolling up to the grocery store when a cellphone
yakking bitch started her way across the street in front of me. No time
to stop, of course, but I get the impervious raised hand "WTF" signal.
Had she been *paying attention*, she'd have realized she'd just put
herself in harm's way.
No phone call is so important that it can't wait until bitchypoo is in a
safe enough situation to answer it. That's what voice mail is for.
Sheesh!
Maybe I will, if it has gone from the New Release section to the cheap
section and I'm bored enough...
I may get myself to watch Armageddon, but only to have a laugh. And,
of course, it's free with me Netflix subscription.
I wached the other day "The Middle Ages"... those Christians were
tough competion for the Mayans and Vikings!
Steve Buscemi is great in it.
> And,
> of course, it's free with me Netflix subscription.
Then you have no excuse! The plot is convoluted, the science is, well,
wrong, but it's big. BIG. And it has Bruce Willis.
Yeah. Bruce Willis. King of the Dick Flick.

They breed faster.
OK, you got me motivated. It'll be fun.

And then they want MORE AND MORE TERRITORY TO EXPAND (according to the
Biblical command), so they can have more CORPORATIONS (both for profit
and nonprofit) like McDonald's, Hollywood and churches...
But a small band of freedom fighters are standing up... Yes, that's
us! ;)
