I know this will never penetrate your weapons grade kevlar/titanium
skull but Wikipedia begs to differ:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction

Saddam Hussein was internationally known for his use of chemical
weapons in the 1980s against Iranian and Kurdish civilians during and
after the Iran–Iraq War. It is also known that in the 1980s he pursued
an extensive biological weapons program and a nuclear weapons program,
though no nuclear bomb was built.

After the 1990-1991 Persian Gulf War, the United Nations located and
destroyed large quantities of Iraqi chemical weapons and related
equipment and materials throughout the early 1990s, with varying
degrees of Iraqi cooperation and obstruction.[1] In response to
diminishing Iraqi cooperation with UNSCOM, the United States called
for withdrawal of all UN and IAEA inspectors in 1998, resulting in
Operation Desert Fox. The United States and the UK asserted that
Saddam Hussein still possessed large hidden stockpiles of WMD in 2003,
and that he was clandestinely procuring and producing more.
Inspections by the UN to resolve the status of unresolved disarmament
questions restarted from November 2002 until March 2003,[2] under UN
Security Council Resolution 1441, which demanded Saddam give
"immediate, unconditional and active cooperation" with UN and IAEA
inspections, shortly before his country was attacked.[3]

But, go ahead. Keep parroting the DNC,Moveon.org talking points.

Interesting that the developmentally disabled Phantom stopped citing
the Wiki entry at that point, before these lines:
"During the lead-up to war in March 2003, United Nations weapons
inspector Hans Blix had found no stockpiles of WMD and had made
significant progress toward resolving open issues of disarmament
noting "proactive" but not always the "immediate" Iraqi cooperation as
called for by UN Security Council Resolution 1441. He concluded that
it would take “but months” to resolve the key remaining disarmament
tasks.[4] "

-- Or this, further on down:
"On May 30, 2003, The U.S. Department of Defense briefed the media
that it was ready to formally begin the work of the Iraq Survey Group
(ISG), a fact finding mission from the coalition of the Iraq
occupation into the WMD programs developed by Iraq, taking over from
the British-American 75th Exploitation Task Force.
On October 6, 2004, the head of the Iraq Survey Group (ISG), Charles
Duelfer, announced to the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee that
the group found no evidence that Iraq under Saddam Hussein had
produced and stockpiled any weapons of mass destruction since 1991,
when UN sanctions were imposed.[92]"

But go ahead Phantom, keep parroting long-debunked TeaPublican talking
points.

Is that why Bush lied to the U.S. public, promising to go to
the UN for a vote on the invasion, but never doing so?

Your attempt at revisionism is charming. The truth is
that Iraq is much worse now than it was under Saddam. For
one thing *it is now an ally of Iran*. Explain that one
broccoli-breath.

| QUESTION: Thank you, Mr. President.
|
| As you said, the Security Council faces a vote next week on
| a resolution implicitly authorizing an attack on Iraq. Will
| you call for a vote on that resolution, even if you aren't
| sure you have the votes?
|
| BUSH: Well, first, I don't think -- it basically says that
| he is in defiance of 1441. That's what the resolution says.
|
| And it's hard to believe anybody saying he isn't in
| defiance of 1441 because 1441 said he must disarm.
|
| And yes, we'll call for a vote.
|
| QUESTION: No matter what?
|
| BUSH: No matter what the whip count is, we're calling for
| the vote. We want to see people stand up and say what their
| opinion is about Saddam Hussein and the utility of the
| United Nations Security Council.

LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

US did find Iraq WMD
October 25, 2010

There were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq after all.

The massive cache of almost 400,000 Iraq war documents released by the
WikiLeaks Web site revealed that small amounts of chemical weapons
were found in Iraq and continued to surface for years after the 2003
US invasion, Wired magazine reported.

The documents showed that US troops continued to find chemical weapons
and labs for years after the invasion, including remnants of Saddam
Hussein's chemical weapons arsenal -- most of which had been destroyed
following the Gulf War.

In August 2004, American troops were able to buy containers from
locals of what they thought was liquid sulfur mustard, a blister
agent, the documents revealed. The chemicals were triple-sealed and
taken to a secure site.

Also in 2004, troops discovered a chemical lab in a house in Fallujah
during a battle with insurgents. A chemical cache was also found in
the city.

Vietnam became Nixon's war as soon as he took office.
By that logic Soetaro owns the whole mess and whatever
happens as a result of calling off active prosecution
of the fight against Islam.

Lurch was unable to find anyone to surrender to so
Miiiister Soetaro is calling off the struggle.

And if he can manage it we'll find ourselves stuck with
his jihadi ass bandit buddies from Gitmo living in our
midst.
