Fragmentation Nuclear Rockets Viable for High-Speed Solar System
Exploration, and Precursor Interstellar Missions! [addendum/update to
earlier post]
The NASA fragmentation nuclear rocket site ref'd in below post no
longer working, so here's Wikipedia on fragnukes:

Wiki on fragnuke rockets:
RESTART PROJECT ORION! They've wasted enough time on ancient
chemical, underpowered rockets and appeasing LIBERAL PANSIES who don't
like nuclear. The ONLY way they'll ever get outside of the Moon's
orbit with a manned crew (and FAST, in one trip!) is with and Orion
Project rocket.

Still gotta boost (or assemble) it in orbit. Right?
Project Orion sounds neat, but might be unnecessarily
"contrapionistic." (Just my thought.)
Yes. That's OK: heavy lift boosters put the pieces up in orbit.
