Who said Saddam is not? You as a republican should be just as concerned
about our future as any democrat or any other political representation. We
need a better America, and that begins with the absent of /our/ dictator.

Cheney still gets $$$$$$$ from Halliburton in the form of deferred
compensation & he still owns stock options --- but SikOfLibs never lets the
truth stand in his way -- just like his heroes.
Bush imprisons people without a concern for justice. Who thought that was
possible from the U.S.? Does that make him as bad as Saddam?

Are you insane or just stupid. There are thousands upon thousands of
firms in the world who would love to bid for the work Halliburtin does
not have to bid for. This is not some unique monopoly it takes
decades to develop. They buy the oil in Kuwait, they put it on a
truck they hire a local guy 10 cents an hour to drive the truck and
they charge about 2.50 for the gallon.
Even the Bin Laden business enterprise of Saudi would be able to
provide these services.

WASHINGTON - The Senate rejected efforts on Tuesday to keep Vice President
Dick Cheney from collecting $500,000 that he is scheduled to receive from
Halliburton Corp. this year.
By a vote of 65 to 34, the Senate voted to set aside an amendment that would
have prevented Cheney, who led the Houston-based energy firm from 1995 to
2000, from receiving the deferred compensation. It also would have forced
the former Wyoming congressman to sell 400,000 options to buy stock in the
firm.
Since when are stock options worthless? Why are they given out then?
It may be true that they have no value at a particular moment -- but having
the ability to direct billions of dollars can change the value of a stock
option. Would that be a conflict if it were Clinton doing it?

towns were wiped out, crazed men (it turns out men don't handle
extended starvation as well as women) hunted other humans for food
(especially children because they don't run so fast).
In China during the 1960's this scenario repeated itself, but multiplied
by at least a factor of three.
Now, that's 80,000,000+ from only two socialist countries in a 35-year
period.
Socialists have caused BY FAR the greatest amount of human suffering than
any other "ists" in all of human history by several orders of magnitude.

Sorry but the USSR and China were not socialist. They should have
been so lucky. Want to see a socialist country? Go to Denmark or
Australia.

Socialish has created the higest over all standard of living on earth.
In socialist Australian the average wage is twice what it is in
America with a lower cost of living. Theres 19 million homeless in
the America and 100,000 in Australia. Before a right wing government
took power there were only 3000.

No examples that anyone has provided are examples of Socialism. They
are, however, examples of Communist Dictatorships. There is a big
difference.
