If you analyse the BJP did not allow the price of gas to exceed the 2 dollar per MMBTU. It wasn't until the congress party came to power that the price was doubled and now they seek to raise it 7 times the original agreement

The real corrupt are therefore the congress party. The BJP merely
signed an agreement. That in itself is not wrong. What would be wrong
is if the price agreed upon was not similar to the international price
at the time. It was. The congress party in the past has even signed
agreements with higher prices and this is there in many many cases.
But the BJP signed a fair price which reliance had to supply the gas
at. It was not till the congress party came to power that this agreed
upon price was doubled to over 4 dollars per MMBTU. This is the real
crux of the matter. Why did pranab mukherjee behave more like a
reliance agent than as a minister of the govt. This is the real scam
and now reliance was trying to increase it 7 times the original agreed
upon price. Of course this 7 times may not happen now that the public
is aware but the doubling of the price done by pranab mukherjee and
supported by the super corrupt congress party is the real scam.
So, the agreement may have taken place under the BJP but the price put
at the time was not high. It was in concert with international gas
prices. If that price had been high you could have attacked the BJP.
The real crooked crooks are the congress party. It was they who
doubled the price to be given to reliance even though the agreement
was in place to provide gas at 2 odd dollars per MMBTU till 2020. And
if this expose had not taken place the super corrupt congress party
could have well increased the price to much higher levels. And for all
those who don't have a clue the international price of gas is 3.5
dollars per MMBTU as of today. This is with the gas companies making
good profits. So, as it is reliance is getting 20 percent more than
the current international price. And if this is not bad enough the
congress party would have enabled reliane to get double or triple
maybe even 4 times the current international price of gas.
Its the congress party which is the most corrupt. The BJP may have
problems but when compared to the super corrupt congress there is
still a sense of propriety and dencency and some sense of
responsibility. But the congress party simply wants to allow massive
loot, for themselves and of course for the crony capitalists with whom
they have a very cosy relationship.

super corrupt nexus between the congress party and reliance. The BJP
may have some problems but at least they behaved far more responsibly.
They fixed the price at 2 odd dollars per MMBTU. It never went up
during thier tenure. When the congress party came to power they almost
doubled this amount even though reliance was supposed to supply at the
2 odd dollars price for quite some time. And not being happy with even
this largesse the amounts were going to be raised to much higher
levels. The congress party is so corrupt that they have finished and
destroyed India and they are primarily the reason for the massive
crony capitalism that exists in India today.

The BJP was indeed more responsible. Vajpayee did not allow reliance
industries to get away by looting this country so badly. The price of
gas was set at about 2 odd dollars per MMBTU and remained at that
throughout the entire duration of the BJP led NDA rule. The congress
party comes to power and pranab mukerjee behaves like a reliance agent
advocating the increase to almost double that amount. Shameless
behavior by mukherjee and shows the super corruption of the congress
party. The super corrupt congress party have had a very cosy
relationship with reliance industries for around 40 years. It was good
of kejriwal to expose this super corrupt nexus between the congress
party and reliance industries.
