Thanks again, Mr. Obama:
|
| U.S. private payrolls increased more than expected in June
| and fewer Americans applied for unemployment benefits last
| week, suggesting a rebound in job growth after May's paltry
| gains.
|
| Thursday's reports underscored the economy's strength and
| supported views that the United States would weather the
| impact of last month's British referendum to leave the
| European Union.
|
| "The labor market is tight, there are plenty of job
| openings, firms are holding onto labor, and the main factor
| restraining job growth is a skills mismatch between
| available workers and the needs of employers," said John
| Ryding, chief economist at RDQ Economics in New York.

And the coal industry starts laying off workers.... so the word is
STAGNANT, which is what it's been for 7.5 years with Obama's policies..

That's Karma ;)

Obama has no problem calling the police, racists and condemning them.

Why so much difficulty calling Muslims, terrorists and condemning them?

You obviously don't remember the ruins of an economy
inherited by Obama. If the racist GOP Congress hadn't
dragged their feet for the past seven years, this would
be a golden age.

You mean to say... The economy is stagnant and Obama didn't work with
congress so there is NO improvement thanks to Obama?

Well that may be true but Obama did use his pen and his phone to go
around congress. That plan to "cut Congress out of the Legislative
process" seems to be what you're saying was a failure. Obama took the
wrong path when it comes to getting his policies passed, he pushed
several like immigration where the Supreme Court found Obama's policies
to be unconstitutional, which would tend to suggest that the GOP
Congress was correct to reject Obama's threats and bully tactics.

Take a look at the employment/population ratio (16 and older); it sucks

https://fredblog.stlouisfed.org/2014/05/labor-market-conditions-good-or-not-so-good/

NOW, take a look at the group from 25-54.
http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS12300060
There is improvement, BUT there are two problems:

1. We are a LONG way from getting back to the pre recession levels. The
levels for 25-54 haven't been this low since the 80s.

2. Those who are from 16-25 are having a hard time into the job market
AND the group above 54 is having a hard time getting *back* into the job
market.

The first item indicates what Robert Reich said, "Worst Economic
Recovery On Record". The second item indicates that the worst recovery
on record is leaving the young and those over 54 behind.

You are a typical dishonest progressive. You are incapable of standing

in hopes that people will not look above your reply to me and see that

I did not dispute the BLS data in your article; I exposed the data as
being PRESENTED as BIASED and I exposed the data as being PARTIAL data.

For example ... from that same BLS report:

1. Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult women
and Whites rose in June.

2. The number of persons unemployed less than 5 weeks increased by
211,000 in June, ...

3. In June, the number of job losers and persons who completed temporary
jobs rose by 203,000 to 3.8 million

4. Both the labor force participation rate, at 62.7 percent, and the
employment-population ratio, at 59.6 percent, changed little in June.
(See table A-1.)

5. ... the number of unemployed persons increased by 347,000 to 7.8 million.

... AND ...

YOU had to snip my citations from the BLS because you could not dispute
them.

The employment/population ratio for 25-54 hasn't been this low since
the 80s.

And that is EXACTLY why I presented the BLS data for the 25-54 age
group; to prevent idiots like you from blaming the low
employment/population ratio on the retirees.

That employment to population ratio for 25-54 is STILL the lowest since
the 80's.

You weren't speculating, "steven", you've already admitted
that you've looked up the local court records. That you
refuse to say more of what you know indicates to me that
you know that you've already crossed the line and just

No, you looked it up, because you're a stalker, as been
pointed out to me by a criminal psychologist that knows you..

How's that 'gated community' you lived at doing these days?

Did you try to turn everyone against each other because
of your malignant narcissistic personality disorder, just
so you could enjoy all the discord you've caused, because
your own life is so miserable that you can help but cry
out for help in rather obvious ways?

Here's another stupid claim from Zepp about the
Constitution.

"Incidently, the fact that the Constitution
specifies that people have right to vote in a
presidential election pretty much takes the choice of
having [a presidential election] out of the hands of
the states."
--David B.(Zepp) Jamieson Sun, Sep 3 2006
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.society.liberalism/msg/efb4fcac7b1561cb?hl=en&

...

>Canyon note> Today, Electors are chosen by popular
election, but the Constitution does not mandate a
popular election. The 14th Amendment does mention the
choosing of Electors, but is relevant only when
Electors are elected by popular vote. There is
similar mention in the 24th Amendment. In other
words, Electors could be appointed by a state's
legislature, or the legislature could empower the
governor to choose electors. In some cases, state
law allows for such appointments if the popular
vote cannot be used to determine a winner, such
as if election results are contested up to
federally-mandated deadlines.

Naw, a bright person wouldn't be a liberal.
Transcript of Kurt Lochner Harrington admitting to being an alcoholic and a
dead-beat dad which leads to him being desperate to
manufacture unsupported nonsense (ie, <chuckle>)"something,
anything to attack me personally."

His problem here, of course, is that I have proof
whereas he has nothing.

Canyon: "did the court let you settle for pennies on the
dollar?"

Lochner "Not that I'm aware of.. Did you have any other
petty remarks? "

Canyon: "did they see that your kids were better off if
you weren't in the picture? "

Lochner "Why don't you go and find out for yourself, cartoon
hero..
Oh, that's right, you can't find anything past that, no
child custody filings, no further hearings on the
settled account and discontinuence.. Poor little
cartoon hero..
You really are looking for something, anything to
attack me personally, with malice aforethought..
That'll be just another in a long series of mistakes
you've made today.."

Canyon: "...say, are you attending those AA meetings regularly?"

Lochner "Sure am, anything else you'd like to desperately try to
attack me personally with, or would you prefer to stop
now before you get into much more trouble?
--Or, do you just have nothing left to lose?"

Malignant narcissists aren’t always intellectual masterminds – many of
them are intellectually lazy. Rather than taking the time to carefully
consider a different perspective, they generalize anything and
everything you say, making blanket statements that don’t acknowledge the
nuances in your argument or take into account the multiple perspectives
you’ve paid homage to. Better yet, why not put a label on you that
dismisses your perspective altogether?

It's not just the bottom feeders. I know a wealthy retired individual
who manages the ratio of the draw from his taxable accounts vs his
nontaxable accounts to keep the taxable draws below $30,000 per year.
By keeping his taxable income to $30K, he receives the Obama insurance
subsidy.

So, did you ever get a response to that?

How about this?

In his research from St. Petersburg, Chen discovered that Russian
internet trolls — paid by the Kremlin to spread false information on the
internet — have been behind a number of "highly coordinated campaigns"
to deceive the American public.

It's a brand of information warfare, known as "dezinformatsiya," that
has been used by the Russians since at least the Cold War. The
disinformation campaigns are only one "active measure" tool used by
Russian intelligence to "sow discord among," and within, allies
perceived hostile to Russia.

"An active measure is a time-honored KGB tactic for waging informational
and psychological warfare," Michael Weiss, a senior editor at The Daily
Beast and editor-in-chief of The Interpreter — an online magazine that
translates and analyzes political, social, and economic events inside
the Russian Federation — wrote on Tuesday.

He continued (emphasis added):

"It is designed, as retired KGB General Oleg Kalugin once defined it,
'to drive wedges in the Western community alliances of all sorts,
particularly NATO, to sow discord among allies, to weaken the United
States in the eyes of the people in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America,
and thus to prepare ground in case the war really occurs.' The most
common subcategory of active measures is dezinformatsiya, or
disinformation: feverish, if believable lies cooked up by Moscow Centre
and planted in friendly media outlets to make democratic nations look
sinister."

It is not surprising, then, that the Kremlin would pay internet trolls
to pose as Trump supporters and build him up online. In fact, that would
be the easy part.

From his interviews with former trolls employed by Russia, Chen
gathered that the point of their jobs "was to weave propaganda
seamlessly into what appeared to be the nonpolitical musings of an
everyday person."
