PEEKSKILL —
Beach Auto owner Ulysse Ajram received three years' probation after
pleading guilty this year to a narcotics charge.
Ajram was sentenced in federal court in Manhattan on Wednesday and
ordered to pay a $10,000 fine within a year.

Ajram admitted in January to conspiracy to distribute and possess with
intent to distribute cocaine and crack from June 2009 through January
2010.
Ajram's brother, Michel Ajram, along with Jason Khoury and Vallory
Snow, also pleaded guilty to the charges.

Michel Ajram pleaded guilty to bribing an unnamed local government
official over the course of several years to get the official to help
him acquire real estate.
Michel Ajram was president of Advantech, a now-defunct Internet
service provider in Peekskill that helped launch the city's website.
Michel Ajram and his company also donated to several Republican
candidates, including Westchester County Legislator and former
Peekskill Mayor John Testa in 2004 and 2006, Gov. George Pataki in
2002, former Westchester District Attorney Jeanine Pirro in her failed
2006 candidacy for state attorney general and former Rep. Sue Kelly in
2005.
