Attention whore Kathy Griffin is not laughing about the
coronavirus pandemic.
The 59-year-old comedian said on Twitter that she’d been
hospitalized with coronavirus-like symptoms, but couldn’t get
tested.

major hospital ER from a separate urgent care facility after
showing UNBEARABLY PAINFUL symptoms. The hospital couldn’t test

“I was sent to the COVID-19 isolation ward room in a major
hospital ER from a separate urgent care facility after showing
unbearably painful symptoms,” wrote Griffin, a frequent critic
of President Trump. “The hospital couldn’t test me for
coronavirus because of CDC (Pence task force) restrictions.”
She was replying to an inaccurate Trump tweet, in which the
president falsely claimed the U.S. had tested more people than
any other nation. Griffin kept it simple, saying “He’s lying.”

Throughout the U.S., more than 65,000 people have been infected
with COVID-19 and more than 900 have died from the disease as of
Wednesday evening, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins.
True case numbers are likely much higher, as testing has been
largely unavailable throughout the nation as the coronavirus
outbreak spreads.
