16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
How do you know when a person loves another person? Prove it, they say.
Actions speak louder than words. You can see it when a firefighter
enters a burning building to save lives. You can see it when a soldier
enlists in the military to serve his country. You can see it when a
police officer risks his life to stop a thief. The Bible says this:
John 15:13 NIV
13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s
friends.
Who do you love in your life? How do your actions show that you love
this person?
