Proverbs 27:18 KJV
18 Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that
waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
It is not necessary to have a promotion each year to prove your worth to
a company. Merely looking after your boss' interests will bring reward
enough.
Proverbs 17:2 KJV
2 A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and
shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.
Who knows what heights one may rise to?
In these dangerous times, it is good to read the book of Proverbs, which
contains wisdom and insight.
