Ukraine has done an excellent job of blasting the
Russian machine from the top down - an extraordinary
number of high Russian officers taken out. This
discoordinates the troops (who's in charge ?) and
destroys morale. And without their whip-bearing
masters ... how many more Russians will defect, or
at least walk away from this war ?

Oh, and Gundorov really LOOKED the part of a fanatical
hard-ass Russian officer .....
