In The USA the President is *NOT* allowed to accept gifts, all gifts
belong to the people, Obama has taken a Nobel "gift" of $1million
dollars with the Nobel. The story is that he was to Donate the Million,
but it isn't Obama's to give to a charity and it takes congress to pass
a bill to spend it or give it if it belongs to the people.
So that Nobel and that Million belong to "the people"
That is why Bush didn't keep any gifts that were given to him.
Who's to say it's NOT a bribe if Obama starts taking million dollar
gifts from Socialist entities, imagine the howling if Bush accepted a
million dollar award from the council of Churches?

You and Strabo are cut from the same ignorant and bigoted cloth. The
Nobel Prize is not a Gift it is an award and one that more than One
President has been awarded. There is no need for him to treat it as a
gift and as for where his Library will be built as it is the Tradition
to build it in the home state of the President I expect it would be in
his Home State of Hawaii. A nice prize for 50th State as this is our
first State with a President from the State of Hawaii. As much as I
know that burns your ass Strabo that is where Our President was born.

So all I need do to pay off a U.S. President with 1.5 million dollars is
to creat a front for the pay off and CALL IT AN AWARD....? Then the
President can turn around and donate the money to somebody like ACORN to
hire the Presidents minions and get him more power?

Just because you call it an award doesn't mean it isn't a gift.... To
begin with, are they treated separately by the IRS.... a Gift is
"income" and an AWARD is "INCOME" oooooppppssss looks like Obama is
taking a Gift and it's a pay off for his Socialist pals(ACORN) that was
passed through Obama as A pay-off for being a good Socialist and
promoting all the right Socialist issues.
