Judge Orders Release of Energy Documents

WASHINGTON - A federal judge told the government to release more documents
related to a White House task force that met behind closed doors to develop
a national energy policy.
Judicial Watch, a government watchdog group, and the environmental group the
Sierra Club want the records as part of an inquiry into whether energy
executives and lobbyists helped draft a policy friendly to their industries
early in President Bush's first year in office.
The administration maintains that only government employees were members of
the task force, which disbanded in 2001.
Judicial Watch has alleged that former Enron chairman Ken Lay and lobbyists
Mark Racicot, Haley Barbour and Thomas Kuhn may have participated.
The order Wednesday from U.S. District Judge Paul Friedman covers material
that the Energy Department, Interior Department and other federal agencies
had refused to produce since a similar federal court ruling two years ago.
The latest order could cover some material that is the subject of a separate
lawsuit now before the Supreme Court. That case also involves documents
about the inner workings of the energy task force headed by Vice President
Dick Cheney and housed in his office.
Cheney was also ordered to produce some documents, and appealed that part of
the dispute to the high court, which will hear arguments next month.
The Cheney case was the subject of recent headlines because of a hunting
trip that Cheney took with Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia weeks after
the court had agreed to hear Cheney's appeal. Scalia rebuffed a request that
he step aside, saying he had no conflict of interest.
Friedman's order deals with agencies that are subject to the federal Freedom
of Information Act. Federal agencies must turn over more documents by June 1
or explain to the judge why they cannot, Friedman said.
The Energy Department and other agencies have turned over some 40,000
documents since another federal judge ordered them to do so in 2002, but
have withheld an estimated 100,000 additional documents that may be relevant
to the Judicial Watch-Sierra Club lawsuit, Judicial Watch President Tom
Fitton said Thursday.
It is not clear how many of those documents might be covered by Friedman's
order. He agreed with agency lawyers that in some instances certain
documents were exempt from the FOIA request or may not exist at all.
The judge disagreed, however, with their contention that records of
communication between federal agencies and the task force are automatically
exempt. He also ordered release of records from the task force's director,
then a civil servant on loan to the task force from another government job.
Those records will probably prove revealing, Fitton said.
"This is a brushback to the government," Fitton said. "I read it to mean we
will finally get documents from the heart of the energy task force."

they are ready to serve again

All Jason Gunn ever wanted was to be a soldier. He put on the uniform
three days after high school graduation, and served six years with
distinction. But in the last real conversation he had with his mother he
swore he would never go back to Iraq.
The army specialist came within inches of death last November 15, when the
Humvee he was driving hit a roadside bomb, killing his sergeant. The entire
left side of Gunn's body was splattered with shrapnel, his elbow was
shattered and, as he lay in the US military hospital bed in Germany, he was
tortured by nightmares.
Late on March 23, Gunn told his mother, Pat, that his commanders were
putting pressure on him to return to Iraq, but there was no way he was
getting on that plane. A few hours later, he was airborne. This week, Gunn's
distraught mother, who is herself a navy veteran, received a first official
response to her demands to know why a soldier, who was being treated by
military doctors for combat stress, was sent back to the war.
The note, which acknowledged Gunn suffered post-traumatic stress, said:
"After discussion of his case it was determined ... this may be in his best
interest mentally to overcome his fear by facing it. Therefore, he has been
cleared for redeployment."
Gunn is not the only broken soldier being sent to battle. The Guardian has
uncovered more than a dozen instances in which ill or injured soldiers were
sent to war by a US military whose resources have been stretched near to
breaking point by the simultaneous fronts in Afghanistan and Iraq. In its
investigation, the Guardian learned of soldiers who were deployed with
almost wilful disregard to their medical histories, and with the most
cursory physical examinations. Soldiers went to war with chronic illnesses
such as coronary disease, mental illness, arthritis, diabetes and the
nervous condition, Tourette's syndrome, or after undergoing recent surgery.
One sergeant major was shipped out two months after neck surgery, despite
orders from his military doctor for six months' rest. "The nurse told me to
put my hands above my head and said you are good to go," he told the
Guardian. A female supply sergeant said she was sent to Kuwait under medical
advice not to walk more than half a mile at a time, or carry more than 50lb.
Both had to be medically evacuated within weeks; the sergeant major required
surgery on his return.
In some cases, the wounded were recycled with alarming speed. A mechanic,
who suffered brain damage last June when his vehicle was hit by a suicide
bus, was sent back to Iraq in October despite reported blurred vision and
memory loss. He returned with his unit last month, and medical evaluations
showed he had continued bleeding from the original head injury.
In Gunn's case, the determination to return him to battle is puzzling. His
unit, the 1-37 Armoured Division, is due to return from Iraq in May. "They
are sending an injured soldier back there for seven weeks. I can't for the
life of me imagine why," says Ms Gunn. "They say they want him to go back
and face his fears, but I just keep thinking what this whole thing will do
to a person. What are they going to send home to us? Someone who is going
to be on disability for the rest of their lives?"
All of the injured or ill soldiers knew of other unfit troops who were sent
to Iraq last year, or have recently been redeployed. Some, who like Gunn
suffered combat stress after sustaining serious injury, came under enormous
pressure from their commanders to return to Iraq. Equally disturbing, a
number of returning soldiers declared unfit for service told the Guardian
the military had tried to force through their
discharge to take them off the benefit rolls.
Such soldiers are almost never seen or heard from in a war now entering its
second year, but their numbers are growing. The Pentagon's senior health
official told Congress this week that the military had carried out 18,000
evacuations from Iraq of wounded or ill soldiers.
Disability claims
Meanwhile, 15,000 soldiers who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan have filed for
disability claims. Some 12,000 have sought medical treatment from facilities
run by the department of veterans affairs. About 4,600 have sought
psychological counselling. That demand threatens to overwhelm a veterans'
healthcare system that has received no new funding since the Iraq war began.
The drain on combat-ready soldiers - and the costs of carrying those damaged
by this war - are becoming logistical nightmares for military
planners. The Pentagon has already been forced to extraordinary measures.
Last year, it locked up the service contracts of National
Guard members and army reservists, preventing them from leaving the military
when their time is up.
Gunn's commanders seem adamant on keeping him. On Wednesday, Ms Gunn was
forwarded a statement from her son. "It is my wish to be redeployed with my
unit to finish my tour of duty with my unit here in Iraq," the statement
said. "I feel that I am able to complete my mission here as well as any
other duties assigned to me while on current deployment." It also said he
had discontinued his prescription. Ms Gunn is convinced the statement was
coerced.
Veterans' advocates say Gunn's saga reflects a pattern in the Pentagon's
dealings with casualties of the war: send them back to battle fast or get
them off the military's books before their ailments drive costs up. "This
is a particularly stressful time for the military because they have been
committed far far beyond their capability, and that is the reason there is
such pressure," says Stan Goff, a veterans' activist and writer. "The
numbers are becoming more and more important. They have got to keep more
bodies in theatre."
Battle readiness barely registers. Veronica Torres, a supply sergeant with
27 years service, was sent to Kuwait four months after toe surgery, and with
previous injuries that restricted her movement. "Could I run? No. Could I
jump in and out of trucks? No. Could I march a mile or two? No," she says.
She was there less than a week before reporting to sick bay. After being
medically evacuated last July, she was diagnosed with diabetes and
fibromyalgia.
Others who were evacuated for injury or illness say their real war started
on their return - with the military bureaucracy.
Gerry Mosley, 49, a first sergeant in a transportation unit, was injured
jumping off a truck that came under fire. By the time he was medically
retired on March 17, he was taking 56 pills a day for shoulder, back and
spinal conditions, post-traumatic stress disorder, and Parkinson's which was
not diagnosed when he was shipped out.
Mosley also developed an abiding anger against an institution he served for
31 years, accusing the army of trying to shirk responsibility for his
condition now he was surplus to requirements.
"I went to Iraq and fought the enemy, not knowing I was going to come back
to the United States and fight a bigger enemy," he says.

Britain's secret army in Iraq: thousands of armed security men who answer
to nobody

So many British security firms are cashing in on the violence in Iraq that
armed private security men now outnumber most of the national army
contingents in the country.
Thousands of former soldiers and police officers from Britain, the US,
Australia and South Africa are earning wages as high as £600 a day to
protect Western officials, oil company executives andconstruction firmbosses
in Iraq. The SAS is said to be suffering an unprecedented loss of personnel
as its highly trained soldiers are lured by lucrative private security work.
With business of around £1bn, British companies are estimated to have the
biggest share of private security contracts in Iraq. According to experts,
between 1,200 and 1,500 former British soldiers and police officers,
including former SAS, Marines, paratroopers and RUC officers, are workingin
Iraq. Some privately estimate that the total number of foreigners working
for
private security companies now exceeds the 8,700 British troops there.
Apart from the major US and British companies, dozens of small firms have
set up shop in Iraq. Former British and American special forces membersspeak
of their concern that smaller firms are hiring personnel with
littleexperience with firearms and have no interest in setting out the
circumstances in which their employees may use their weapons.
The presence of thousands of armed Westerners and others, including Gurkhas
and Fijians, says much about America's fear of military casualties.
Securityfirms are escorting convoys. Armed men from an Americancompany are
guardingUS troops at night inside the former presidential palace where Paul
Bremer, the American proconsul, has his headquarters. When a US helicopter
crashed near Fallujah last year, an American security firm took control of
the area and began rescue operations.
Details of the number of companies here - there may be as many as 400 - are
further complicated by the number of security firms that are subcontracted
by larger companies on a daily or weekly basis. Larger companies such as
Control Risks complain that many are unregistered and uninsured.
Much of the money being earned by British companies is coming from the
British taxpayer. The Independent on Sunday has learnt that the Foreign
Office and Department for International Development have spent nearly £25m
on hiring private bodyguards, armed escorts and security advisers to
protect their civil servants. That figure is set to increase sharply in
July when
sovereignty is handed over to an Iraqi administration.
The largest contract is with Control Risks, which has earned £23.5m. It
employs about 120 staff to protect about 150 British officials and
contractors.

because of their suspicious behavior. These "movers" were seen dumping
furniture near a restaurant dumpster! When the restaurant manager approached
the driver, a "Middle Eastern" man later identified as Moshe Elmakias fled
the scene. (151) The manager made note of the truck's sign which read
"Moving Systems Incorporated" and called the police. When the police spotted
the truck, two other Israelis - Ayelet Reisler and Ron Katar began acting
suspiciously. (152) The Plymouth police searched the truck and found a
video. The Israelis were taken into custody and the video tape was played at
the police station. The video revealed footage of Chicago with zoomed in
shots of the Sears Tower. (153) The police quickly alerted the FBI and it
was also discovered that the Israelis had falsified travel logs and phony
paperwork on them. (154) They were also unable to provide a name and
telephone number for the customer that they claimed to have been working
for. These Israelis were up to some sort of dirty business, and you can be
sure it had nothing to do with moving furniture.
On October 10, 2001, CNN made a brief mention of a foiled terrorist bomb
plot in the Mexican Parliament building. They promised to bring any further
developments of this story to their viewers, but the incident was never
heard of again in America. But the story appeared in bold headlines on the
front page of the major Mexican newspapers (155) and was also posted on the
official website of the Mexican Justice Department. (156) Two terrorist
suspects were apprehended in the Mexican Chamber of Deputies. Caught
red-handed, they had in their possession a high powered gun, nine hand
grenades, and C-4 plastic explosives (great stuff for demolishing
buildings!) (157) Within days, this blockbuster story not only disappeared
from the Mexican press, but the terrorists were released and deported! The
two terrorists were Salvador Gerson Sunke and Sar ben Zui. Can you guess
what their ethnicity was? Grson Sunke was a Mexican jew and Zui was a
colonel with the Israeli special forces. (158) Can you say "Mossad?" The
story in El Diario de Mexico went on to reveal that the Zionist terrorists
had fake Pakistani passports on them. (159) Can you say "false flag
operation?" The probable motive of this particular botched terrorist
operation was to involve oil rich Mexico in the "War on Terrorism". (The War
on Israel's enemies would be a more accurate description). Mexico is no
military power, but the psychological trauma of an "Arab" attack on Mexico
would surely have induced Mexico to provide unlimited cheap oil to her
American "protector". With cheap oil flowing to America at rock bottom
prices from Mexico, the US could better afford to break off relations with
the oil rich Arabs in general and Saudi Arabia in particular. That's why the
conspiracy chose so many Saudi identities to steal for the 9-11 operation..
In November of 2001, 6 more suspicious Israelis were detained in an
unspecified mid-eastern state. They had in their possession box cutters, oil
pipeline plans, and nuclear power plant plans. (160) The local police called
in the Feds and Immigration officials took over the scene and released the
men without calling the FBI. The Jerusalem Post, (161) the Miami Herald,
(162) and the Times of London (163) all carried this amazing story and all
revealed how furious FBI officials were that these suspects with nuclear
power plant plans were allowed to go free. Of course, the corruption riddled
FBI would only have caved into Zionist pressure from the Justice Department'
s Criminal Division boss, Michael Chertoff, and also from the ADL's
"partner", FBI boss Robert Mueller - who would no doubt have found a way to
release those Israeli terror suspects too.
In December, 2001, the Los Angeles Times published the story of how two
jewish terrorists were arrested by the FBI for plotting to blow up the
office of US Congressman of Arab descent - Darrell Issa (R-CA), and a
California mosque. (164) Irv Rubin and Earl Kruger of the Jewish Defense
League (JDL) were charged with conspiracy to destroy a building by means of
explosives. This story got brief national coverage but quickly disappeared
too. These Zionists sure love blowing up buildings and killing innocent
people don't they?
In May of 2002, yet another moving van was pulled over in Oak Harbor,
Washington near the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. Fox News reported that
the van was pulled over for speeding shortly after midnight. The passengers
told the police they were delivering furniture, but because it was so late
at night, the police weren't buying the story. A bomb sniffing dog was
brought in and the dog detected the presence of TNT and RDX plastic
explosives in the truck (great stuff for demolishing buildings!) Both Fox
News (165) and the Ha'aretz newspaper of Israel (166) reported that the two
"movers" were Israelis.
According to FOX news, throughout late 2000 and 2001, a total of 200 Israeli
spies were arrested. (167) It was the largest spy ring to be uncovered in
the history of the US. The Washington Post also reported that some of these
Israelis were arrested in connection with the 9-11 investigation. It was the

a excellent four part, nationally televised, series of investigations into
this blockbuster scandal. But FOX pulled the investigative series after

remove the written transcripts of the series from its website! In it's place
was posted a chilling, Orwellian message which reads: "This story no longer
exists." (169) Fortunately for the sake of history, the FOX transcripts were
copied onto to many other websites and all four parts are available for your
review. (see footnotes.)
The FOX series and other mainstream news media sources revealed that many of
these Israelis were army veterans with electronics and explosives expertise.
Many of them failed lie detector tests. FBI agents told FOX that some of
their past investigations were compromised because suspects had been tipped
off by Israeli wiretapping specialists. It was discovered that Israeli
companies such as Comverse and Amdocs have the capability to tap American
telephones (great for blackmailing all those wife-cheating politicians!) FBI
agents also told FOX they believed the Israelis had advance knowledge of the
9-11 attacks. (which certainly would explain why no Israelis died in the
WTC) Still another US official informed FOX that some of the detained
Israelis actually had links to 9-11, but he refused to describe the nature
of those links. The FBI official told FOX's Carl Cameron:
"Evidence linking these Israelis to 9-11 is classified. I cannot tell you
about the evidence that has been gathered. It is classified information."

Then there was that small army of Israeli "art students" who were arrested
for trying to sneak into secured US Federal buildings and staking out 36
Department of Defense sites. Some of these suspicious "art students" even
showed up at the homes of Federal employees. (171) Ron Hatchett, a
Department of Defense analyst, told Channel 11, KHOU news in Houston that he
believed that the "art students" were gathering intelligence for future
attacks. Here's an excerpt from the October 1, 2001 KHOU investigative
report by Anna Werner:
"Could federal buildings in Houston and other cities be under surveillance
by foreign groups? That's what some experts are asking after federal law
enforcement and security officials - nationally and in Houston - described
for the 11 News Defenders a curious pattern of behavior by a group of people
claiming to be Israeli art students."
"Hatchett says they could be doing what he would be doing if he were a
terrorist, sizing up the situation: "We need to know what are the entrances
to this particular building. We need to know what are the surveillance
cameras that are operating. We need to know how many guards are at this
operation, when do they take breaks?" Says Hatchett: This is not a bunch of
kids selling artwork."
"A former Defense Department analyst, Hatchett believes groups may be
gathering intelligence for possible future attacks. "Some organization,
thinking in terms of a potential retaliation against the U.S. government
could be scouting out potential targets and . looking for targets that would
be vulnerable."
And a source tells the Defenders of another federal memo, stating that
besides Houston and Dallas, the same thing has happened at sites in New
York, Florida, and six other states, and even more worrisome, at 36
sensitive Department of Defense sites. "One defense site you can explain,"
says Hatchett, "well that was just a serendipitous, .... Thirty-six? That's
a pattern." (172)
A Federal memo stated that these art students may have had ties to an
"Islamic terror group". (173) Remember the bombing of the King David Hotel
in 1946, and how the "Arab terrorists" were actually Irgun terrorists?
Remember the Zionist terrorists caught in Mexico with Arab passports?
remember the official motto of the Mossad - By Way of Deception Thou Shalt

Before his excellent work was silenced, FOX's Cameron reported this amazing
bit of information:
"Investigators within the DEA, INS, and FBI have all told FOX News that to
pursue or even suggest Israeli spying is considered career suicide." (174)

has committed career suicide! And if a journalist like FOX's Cameron dares

orchestrating, financing, executing, and covering up the true story of

Now do you remember the Mossad's "warning" about the 200 "Al-Qaeda
terrorists" said to have been preparing major attacks in the US? (175) At
the time of this writing, we are one year into the largest investigation in
American history, and not one of these 200 "terrorists" has yet to be
uncovered. (176) But 200 Israeli spies were uncovered, among them many
military members, electronics experts, wiretapping and phone tapping
specialists, and explosives experts with the skill to bring down tall
buildings. (177) Logic and common sense leads to the conclusion that the
"200 Al Qaeda terrorists" were in reality, 200 Zionist terrorists sent to
frame the Arabs for terrorist attacks and drag America into a war. History
repeats itself. But who will teach this history to the American people when

My first trip to Israel made real for me all I'd believed about Israel.
I was allowed to fly an air force jet from the Ovda Airbase. It was then
that Israeli insecurity about narrow borders became very real to me. In a
matter of minutes, I came close to violating the airspace of Egypt, Jordan,
and Syria. From that moment on, I felt as Israelis do: The promise of peace
must be secure before the Promised Land is secure on a thin margin of land.
Back on the ground on that first trip, I toured the country from Kibbutz
Mizgav Am to Masada to the Golan. I stood in the very shelter in a kibbutz
in the north where children were attacked and I looked at launching sites
and impact zones for Katousha rockets. I was enthralled by Tel Aviv, moved
by Jerusalem and inspired by standing above Capernaum, looking out over the
Sea of Galilee, where I read aloud the Sermon on The Mount. I met people of
stunning commitment, who honestly and vigorously debated the issues as I
watched and listened intently. I went as a friend by conviction; I returned
a friend at the deepest personal level.
As the only true democracy in the Middle East, Israel has both the burden
and the glory of a vigorous public square. We as Americans must be the
truest and best kind of ally --- forthright enough to say what we think ---
and steadfast enough to stay the course in hard passages as well as easy
days.
Herzl's famous words --- "If you will it, it is no dream" --- signify the
promise and the greatest power of Israel --- and the hope that a fair and
secure peace can be achieved. We must be committed to support Israel in the
exacting, essential search for that dream.
I will never forget a moment on top of Masada, when I stood on that great
plateau where the oath of new soldiers used to be sworn against the desert
backdrop and the test of history. I had spent several hours with Yadin Roman
debating whether or not Josephus Flavius was correct in his account of the
siege --- whether these really were the last Jews fighting for survival ---
whether they had escaped since no remains were ever found. After our journey
through history --- which we resolved with a vote in favor of history as
recorded --- we stood as a group at the end of the cliff and altogether we

A Look at The 'Powerful Jewish Lobby'

For decades Israel has violated well established precepts of international
law and defied numerous United Nations resolutions in its occupation of
conquered lands, in extra-judicial killings, and in its repeated acts of
military aggression.
Most of the world regards Israel's policies, and especially its oppression
of Palestinians, as outrageous and criminal. This international consensus is
reflected, for example, in numerous UN resolutions condemning Israel, which
have been approved with overwhelming majorities.
"The whole world," United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan recently
said, "is demanding that Israel withdraw [from occupied Palestinian
territories]. I don't think the whole world ... can be wrong."[note 1]
Only in the United States do politicians and the media still fervently
support Israel and its policies. For decades the US has provided Israel with
crucial military, diplomatic and financial backing, including more than $3
billion each year in aid.
Why is the U.S. the only remaining bastion of support for Israel?
Bishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, who was awarded the 1984 Nobel Peace
Prize, has candidly identified the reason: "The Israeli government is placed
on a pedestal [in the US], and to criticize it is to be immediately dubbed
anti-Semitic," he said. "People are scared in this country, to say wrong is
wrong because the Jewish lobby is powerful -- very powerful."[note 2]
Bishop Tutu spoke the truth. Although Jews make up only about three percent
of the US population, they wield immense power and influence -- vastly more
than any other ethnic or religious group.
As Jewish author and political science professor Benjamin Ginsberg has
pointed out:[note 3]
Since the 1960s, Jews have come to wield considerable influence in American
economic, cultural, intellectual and political life. Jews played a central
role in American finance during the 1980s, and they were among the chief
beneficiaries of that decade's corporate mergers and reorganizations. Today,
though barely two percent of the nation's population is Jewish, close to
half its billionaires are Jews. The chief executive officers of the three
major television networks and the four largest film studios are Jews, as are
the owners of the nation's largest newspaper chain and the most influential
single newspaper, the New York Times ... The role and influence of Jews in
American politics is equally marked ...
Jews are only three percent of the nation's population and comprise eleven
percent of what this study defines as the nation's elite. However, Jews
constitute more than 25 percent of the elite journalists and publishers,
more than 17 percent of the leaders of important voluntary and public
interest organizations, and more than 15 percent of the top ranking civil
servants.
Stephen Steinlight, former Director of National Affairs of the American
Jewish Committee, similarly notes the "disproportionate political power" of
Jews, which is "pound for pound the greatest of any ethnic/cultural group in
America." He goes on to explain that "Jewish economic influence and power
are disproportionately concentrated in Hollywood, television, and in the
news industry."[note 4]
Two well-known Jewish writers, Seymour Lipset and Earl Raab, pointed out in
their 1995 book, Jews and the New American Scene:[note 5]
During the last three decades Jews [in the United States] have made up 50
percent of the top two hundred intellectuals ... 20 percent of professors at
the leading universities ... 40 percent of partners in the leading law firms
in New York and Washington ... 59 percent of the directors, writers, and
producers of the 50 top-grossing motion pictures from 1965 to 1982, and 58
percent of directors, writers, and producers in two or more primetime
television series.
The influence of American Jewry in Washington, notes the Israeli daily
Jerusalem Post, is "far disproportionate to the size of the community,
Jewish leaders and U.S. official acknowledge. But so is the amount of money
they contribute to [election] campaigns." One member of the influential
Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations "estimated
Jews alone had contributed 50 percent of the funds for [President Bill]
Clinton's 1996 re-election campaign."[note 6]
"It makes no sense at all to try to deny the reality of Jewish power and
prominence in popular culture," acknowledges Michael Medved, a well-known
Jewish author and film critic. "Any list of the most influential production
executives at each of the major movie studios will produce a heavy majority
of recognizably Jewish names."[note 7]
One person who has carefully studied this subject is Jonathan J. Goldberg,
now editor of the influential Jewish community weekly Forward. In his 1996
book, Jewish Power, he wrote:[note 8]
In a few key sectors of the media, notably among Hollywood studio
executives, Jews are so numerically dominant that calling these businesses
Jewish-controlled is little more than a statistical observation ...
Hollywood at the end of the twentieth century is still an industry with a
pronounced ethnic tinge. Virtually all the senior executives at the major
studios are Jews. Writers, producers, and to a lesser degree directors are
disproportionately Jewish -- one recent study showed the figure as high as
59 percent among top-grossing films.
The combined weight of so many Jews in one of America's most lucrative and
important industries gives the Jews of Hollywood a great deal of political
power. They are a major source of money for Democratic candidates.
Reflecting their role in the American media, Jews are routinely portrayed as
high-minded, altruistic, trustworthy, compassionate, and deserving of
sympathy and support. While millions of Americans readily accept such
stereotyped imagery, not everyone is impressed. "I am very angry with some
of the Jews," complained actor Marlon Brando during a 1996 interview. "They
know perfectly well what their responsibilities are ... Hollywood is run by
Jews. It's owned by Jews, and they should have a greater sensitivity about
the issue of people who are suffering."[note 9]
A Well-Entrenched Factor
The intimidating power of the "Jewish lobby" is not a new phenomenon, but
has long been an important factor in American life.
In 1941 Charles Lindbergh spoke about the danger of Jewish power in the
media and government. The shy 39-year-old -- known around the world for his
epic 1927 New York to Paris flight, the first solo trans-Atlantic
crossing -- was addressing 7,000 people in Des Moines, Iowa, on September
11, 1941, about the dangers of US involvement in the war then raging in
Europe. The three most important groups pressing America into war, he
explained, were the British, the Jews, and the Roosevelt administration.
Of the Jews, he said: "Their greatest danger to this country lies in their
large ownership and influence in our motion pictures, our press, our radio,
and our government." Lindbergh went on:
... For reasons which are understandable from their viewpoint as they are
inadvisable from ours, for reasons which are not American, [they] wish to
involve us in the war. We cannot blame them for looking out for what they
believe to be their own interests, but we must also look out for ours. We
cannot allow the natural passions and prejudices of other peoples to lead
our country to destruction.
In 1978, Jewish American scholar Alfred M. Lilienthal wrote in his detailed
study, The Zionist Connection:[note 10]
How has the Zionist will been imposed on the American people?... It is the
Jewish connection, the tribal solidarity among themselves and the amazing
pull on non-Jews, that has molded this unprecedented power ... In the larger
metropolitan areas, the Jewish-Zionist connection thoroughly pervades
affluent financial, commercial, social, entertainment, and art circles.
As a result of the Jewish grip on the media, wrote Lilienthal, news coverage
of the Israel-Palestine conflict in American television, newspapers and
magazines is relentlessly sympathetic to Israel. This is manifest, for
example, in the misleading portrayal of Palestinian "terrorism." As
Lilienthal put it: "One-sided reportage on terrorism, in which cause is
never related to effect, was assured because the most effective component of
the Jewish connection is probably that of media control."
One-Sided 'Holocaust' History
The Jewish hold on cultural and academic life has had a profound impact on
how Americans look at the past. Nowhere is the well entrenched Judeocentric
view of history more obvious than in the "Holocaust" media campaign, which
focuses on the fate of Jews in Europe during World War II.
Israeli Holocaust historian Yehuda Bauer, a professor at Hebrew University
in Jerusalem, has remarked:[note 11]
Whether presented authentically or inauthentically, in accordance with the
historical facts or in contradiction to them, with empathy and understanding
or as monumental kitsch, the Holocaust has become a ruling symbol of our
culture ... Hardly a month goes by without a new TV production, a new film,
a new drama, new books, prose or poetry, dealing with the subject, and the
flood is increasing rather than abating.
Non-Jewish suffering simply does not merit comparable attention.
Overshadowed in the focus on Jewish victimization are, for example, the tens
of millions of victims of America's World War II ally, Stalinist Russia,
along with the tens of millions of victims of China's Maoist regime, as well
as the 12 to 14 million Germans, victims of the flight and expulsion of
1944-1949, of whom some two million lost their lives.
The well-financed Holocaust media and "educational" campaign is crucially
important to the interests of Israel. Paula Hyman, a professor of modern
Jewish history at Yale University, has observed: "With regard to Israel, the
Holocaust may be used to forestall political criticism and suppress debate;
it reinforces the sense of Jews as an eternally beleaguered people who can
rely for their defense only upon themselves. The invocation of the suffering
endured by the Jews under the Nazis often takes the place of rational
argument, and is expected to convince doubters of the legitimacy of current
Israeli government policy."[note 12]
Norman Finkelstein, a Jewish scholar who has taught political science at
City University of New York (Hunter College), says in his book, The
Holocaust Industry, that "invoking The Holocaust" is "a ploy to delegitimize
all criticism of Jews."[note 13] "By conferring total blamelessness on Jews,
the Holocaust dogma immunizes Israel and American Jewry from legitimate
censure ... Organized Jewry has exploited the Nazi holocaust to deflect
criticism of Israel's and its own morally indefensible policies." He writes
of the brazen "shakedown" of Germany, Switzerland and other countries by
Israel and organized Jewry "to extort billions of dollars." "The Holocaust,"
Finkelstein predicts, "may yet turn out to be the 'greatest robbery in the
history of mankind'."
Jews in Israel feel free to act brutally against Arabs, writes Israeli
journalist Ari Shavit, "believing with absolute certitude that now, with the
White House, the Senate and much of the American media in our hands, the
lives of others do not count as much as our own."[note 14]
Admiral Thomas Moorer, former Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, has
spoken with blunt exasperation about the Jewish-Israeli hold on the United
States:[note 15]
I've never seen a President -- I don't care who he is -- stand up to them
[the Israelis]. It just boggles the mind. They always get what they want.
The Israelis know what is going on all the time. I got to the point where I
wasn't writing anything down. If the American people understood what a grip
those people have got on our government, they would rise up in arms. Our
citizens certainly don't have any idea what goes on.
Today the danger is greater than ever. Israel and Jewish organizations, in
collaboration with this country's pro-Zionist "amen corner," are prodding
the United States -- the world's foremost military and economic power --
into new wars against Israel's enemies. As the French ambassador in London
recently acknowledged, Israel -- which he called "that shitty little
country" -- is a threat to world peace. "Why should the world be in danger
of World War III because of those people?," he said.[note 16]
To sum up: Jews wield immense power and influence in the United States. The
"Jewish lobby" is a decisive factor in US support for Israel. Jewish-Zionist
interests are not identical to American interests. In fact, they often
conflict.
As long as the "very powerful" Jewish lobby remains entrenched, there will
be no end to the systematic Jewish distortion of current affairs and
history, the Jewish-Zionist domination of the U.S. political system, Zionist
oppression of Palestinians, the bloody conflict between Jews and non-Jews in
the Middle East, and the Israeli threat to peace.

The following compilation presents documents and research from various
sources demonstrating that the events of Sept 11 were planned and carried
out by the US govt and its agencies. This compilation is my own creation and
it cannot be assumed that the individual authors of the research below
necessarily agree with each other on all details.
The compilation is divided into three main sections.
1) "Let it happen on purpose" evidence (LIHOP).
This presents research which takes as its founding assumption that we are
basically being told the truth about which planes were hijacked, where they
went and who hijacked them, and goes on to demonstrate that even if this
were true, then the govt and its agencies must have known about it
beforehand, and must have taken active steps to deliberately allow it to
happen.
2) "Totally self inflicted" evidence (TSI).
This section demonstrates that the LIHOP evidence only scratches the
surface, and that the govt claims about which planes were hijacked, were
they went and who hijacked them is total fiction, and that the govt and its
agencies must have organized the entire event.
3) Background and historical evidence.
This section does not present direct evidence of govt involvement
specifically in the events of Sept 11, but demonstrates that the phenomonen
of "Islamic terror", both real and imaginary, has been deliberately built up
by successive US govts and agencies for more than two decades, in the
interests of creating an enemy in the minds of the population. It also
demonstrates that behind the scenes, the US govt and its agencies actively
co-operate with their alleged Islamic enemies, and that there is sound
historical precedent for the govt and its agencies having an active policy
of committing or deliberately allowing terrorist attacks against their own
people for the purpose of furthering this kind of agenda.
Before presenting the evidence, lets briefly summarize the basics of the
claims made about Sept 11 by the govt and the media..
American Airlines flight 11, a Boeing 767, tail number N334AA, with 92
people aboard,including the hijackers, was hijacked by 5 Arab men, while on
route from Boston to LA. It was known to be hijacked by 8.25 AM or earlier,
and hit the Nth tower of the WTC at 8.45, or according to some sources,
8.46.
United Airlines flight 175, a Boeing 767, tail number N612UA, with 65 people
aboard,including the hijackers , was hijacked by 5 Arab men, while flying
the same route as AA 11. It was known to be hijacked at about 8.55 AM and
hit the Sth Tower of the WTC at 9.03.
The towers later collapsed due to fire and /or impact damage.
American Airlines flight 77, a Boeing 757, tail number N644AA, with 64
people aboard,including the hijackers, was hijacked by 5 Arab men while on
route from Dulles airport (DC) to LA. It was known to be hijacked at about
8.55 and hit the Pentagon at a time which in different sources, varies
between 9.38 and 9.45.
United Airlines flight 93, a Boeing 757, tail number N591UA, with either 44
or 45 people aboard ( depending upon which sources you use ), including the
hijackers, on route from Newark (New Jersey) to SF , was hijacked by 4 Arab
men. It was known to be hijacked about 9.45, and crashed in PA at a time
which varies from 10.00 to 10.10, depending on the source, after the
passengers attempted to take back control of the plane from the hijackers.
As we'll see in section 2 , (TSI) none of this is true, except for the fact
that the towers collapsed, and we will demonstrate that this was a
controlled demolition.
But for the purposes of Section 1 (LIHOP), lets assume that these claims are
basically true. The LIHOP section will demonstrate that the govt must have
deliberately allowed the attacks to happen.

SECTION 1. THE GOVT DELIBERATELY LET IT HAPPEN.

If one accepts the story as above, then the airforce must have been stood
down in order to ensure the success of the attacks.

1. 2 The complicit behavior of G.W.Bush
An examination of the movements of Geroge W. Bush on the morning of Sept 11,
and the subsequent lies told by Bush, the govt and the media to try to cover
up his movements demonstrates that Bush had prior knowledge of the attacks ,
pretended to know less than he did once they began, and conspired to ensure

1.3 OTHER EVIDENCE OF GOVT FOREKNOWLEDGE
In the first few hours after the attacks, it was reported on US TV networks
that investigators were already looking into huge volumes of insider trading
on airline stocks in the weeks leading up to the attacks. Investigative and
regulatory authorities could easily find out who placed these trades,
apparently attempting to profit from foreknowledge.
Why has this story since completely disappeared? More than two years later,
we see no sign of any inquiry. If the executive director of the CIA had
previously managed the firm which handled much of the trade, are we expected
to believe that authorities can't find out who was responsible? Clearly,
they don't want to know - or at least ,don't want us to know.

SECTION 2. THE GOVT DIDN'T JUST "ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN" - IT PLANNED,
ORGANIZED AND CARRIED OUT THE ATTACKS ITSELF.
The evidence in section 1 demonstrated that even if we uncritically accept
the govt claims about 19 Arabs hijacking 4 planes and deliberately crashing
them, we have overwhelming proof that the govt must have known about the
attacks beforehand and been deliberately complicit in allowing them to
happen. As strong as this evidence is, it only scratches the surface. The
following evidence will demonstrate that the official story of the
hijackings is total fiction.
2.1 The Ficticious Hijackers
Even without any direct documentation, some critical thinking about the
story of the hijackings reveals it as an absurdity. In the event of a
hijacking, the crew has only to punch in a four digit code accessible from
several different places, in order to alert ATC (air traffic control) to a
hijacking. No such distress code was received from any of the allegedly
hijacked planes. We are expected to believe that hijackers took over a plane
by the crude method of threatening the passengers and crew with boxcutters,
but somehow managed to take control of the plane without the crew first
getting a chance to punch in the hijacking code. Not just on one plane - but
on all four. This alone is almost impossible. Then we are expected to
believe that all four pilots were able to navigate the planes successfully
to their targets, in spite of their training being restricted to Cessnas and
flight simulators, that with the exception of the plane which was allegedly
brought down by the passengers, they were able to exhibit breathtaking
piloting skills in being able to hit small targets accurately at high speed,
and that none of the hijackers in any of the four groups got cold feet about
committing suicide in such a horrible fashion. In a miraculous co-incidence,
the ringleader's luggage was somehow left behind at the airport, and was
found to contain instructions to the hijackers. This has the credibility of
a cartoon script. Nevertheless, there is solid documented proof that no such
hijackings took place.
If 19 Arabs hijacked the planes, why are there no Arabic names on any of the
passenger lists? If they used non-Arabic aliases, which of the " innocents "
on the lists are alleged to be the hijackers?

2. 2 The Pentagon hoax
It is alleged that that American Airlines 77, a hijacked Boeing 757, crashed
into the Pentagon. This is clearly not true. A Boeing 757 has a wingspan of
125 ft and a length of 155 ft. The tail height is about 40 ft. The hole in
the Pentagon wall was about 40 ft wide, about 25 ft high, and only the outer
ring of the building - about 40 ft deep - collapsed. And yet there is no
sign of any aircraft debris - either inside or outside the building. And no
damage to the lawn outside. A giant plane has supposedly passed through a
hole many times smaller than itself and then vanished without a trace.

3.1 US GOVT AND ISLAMIC TERROR - BEST OF ENEMIES
The new story is that they allegedly feared Bin Laden so much that they
wanted to get him first. So why didn't they arrest him when they had the
chance in July 2001, according to this press report?
(Note: There is a discrepency in the date of the report between 3.1.1 and
3.1.3, which at this stage, I can't explain.)

John O'Neill was the lead expert on Arab Terrorism at the FBI over the last
10 years. He was totally fixated on tracking Osama Bin Laden after the WTC
bombing in 1993. He was the lead agent in bringing to justice Bin Ladens
lead terrorist in the U.S. - Abdullah Racman. O'Neil was vociferous with his
superiors that these individuals should be closely tracked in and outside
the U.S. and if possible arrested or eliminated. After the USS Cole assault,
O'Neill and his agents were on the trail of these terrorists that committed
the crime. He was in Yemen tracking the movements of these perpetrators when
the Clinton" appointed Ambassador had him and his agents removed from the
case and sent back to the States. Why? because he was a little too brusque
and not going through the proper channel's tracking these people. O'Neill
was devastated that the case was became a low priority and subsequently quit
the FBI. He became the director of security at the WTC 6 months ago and
ironically perished at the hands of the same criminals he was pursuing.
He leaves behind 4 children and his wife. ....
