The '2012' scare is where some Mayan calender is suposedly ending,
causing the end of this "civilization."

When capitalism faces very serious crises it has historically reacted
with war, world wars, to diffuse the pressure on Government and have
the potential revolutionaries and the common man slaughter each other
on the battle-field, thus providing political cover for the capitalist
Governments on both sides. Currently such a crisis is said to be
underway. If trends continue (Government debt pyramid game, which could
implode, outsourcing real production to ultra-cheap wage slaves in the
third world gutting the western industries / base of existence which
at a certain point would have to economically collapse if it goes too
far (because why would the wage-slave bosses want a useless currency
that doesn't buy them anything in the west anymore, because the west
doesn't make much or anything anymore ?), expensive senseless wars that
give capitalist governments the battle ready, murder ready, cynical
troops needed for repression at home and/or death-squads on political
opponents, insane bonus packages for people who are a pest in society
(investment bankers) while poverty increases, economic crisis from
lack of demand from lack of income causing more lack of demand (cycle
of economic downturn)), we may have another 1929 situation such as in
Germany in the USA (?).

Obama has to do a re-election bid in 2012, which he may already realize
he is going to loose because he is a habitual liar etc, thus his
previous supporters might at some point - considdering the lack of
results - feel they have to make up for their previous mistake of
falling for 'anti-christ Obama,' and fight Obama re-election, making
re-election of Obama unlikely.

Faced with the economic outlook, the will of much of the western
bourgeoisie depending on revolutionary pressure to launch another world
war to save their power positions, faced with a possibly certain defeat
for election (at that point, when his insufficient rule is even more
exposed then it is now), Obama being the 'commander in chief' (at least
in name) of the most powerful looting gang the world has ever seen
(the USA army, an army who is funded by more money then all of the other
nations their defense budgets combined, thus you would assume that army
gang has some say in whether or not there will be another world war or
not): Obama could go for broke, cause sufficient international
diplomatic incident in the fall of 2012 to make it believable in the
eyes of soldiers and public somehow that when the orders for war come
they should comply (maybe they would even agree, say they (have their
old arab affiliates) blow up another set of their buildings and blame
it on the enemy). The war could commence before the elections, causing
some kind of set-up that allows Obama continued power, effectively
turning the USA Roman Republic into the USA Roman Dictatorship under
Obama (with the support of the western Bourgeoisie, who are all too
happy to use Obama as the scapegoat once the rubble is cleared away and
Obama has lost power somehow.).

I'm not saying that it will happen because who am I to know, but to
launch war in 2012 will co-incide with 'the 2012 scare,' making it
perhaps easier on the masses 'because it was inevitable, nobody could
stop it, it's the Mayan calender who did it,' making it a
self-fulfilling prophecy (too). I've no idea what will happen, maybe
in 6 weeks Israel comes to her senses and we'd have a revolution, who
knows, everything could go many ways. However the cogs seems to be
turning toward another big war if history is any guide.

Economic ruin -> people angry -> Government feels pressured ->
Government seeks a way out -> Government realizes war is their ticket
for continued profit and power. It happened in the past, nothing has
changed except that the guns are incomparably bigger. Rome fell in Rome,
Rome fell in Berlin, Rome may fall in Washington in the same way.
It's because of their state and economic system, which are
insufficiently democratic while the economy rots more and more under
power abuses and free trade in investment capital. It is a recipe for
the fall of a nation. Has happened before, why wouldn't it happen again ?

It wouldn't if you'd persue this program: www.socialism.nl

History also shows that succesful revolution can preclude the capitalist
cycle toward a big war to be stopped even if the war is already begun.
That too has happened before. Hence: it is up to you.
