It's important that you tell Dustin that I am deadly serious.

David, yes I got your email. And you wanted me to confirm his
video was attached, it was.
I think there is a peaceful solution to this, if both parties are
willing to listen. I have an idea that will let you both save
face, and no one gets hurt in RL.
Are you and Dustin amiable to hearing it? I take no sides here,
as I expicitly told you in email. I'm saying it again for
Dustin's info.
Thanks for that! :)

BD will listen! I do appreciate that I could ruin his young life.
I don't think *he* fully understands and appreciates just what might
happen if the FBI *were* to become involved.
Go ahead G. Morgan ......

For fucks sake, I put the video on my own site for awhile. it's not
like it's a secret file. I was planning to post a nice.. non snowy
winter video of the area here, but.. thanks to BD's latest nonsense, I
can't from a security standpoint do that.

I'm not worried about saving face. I know what I'm capable of doing, I
know what I've already done. This isn't and never has been an issue of
"saving" face to me. I've had an issue with BD since last summer when
he took it upon himself to try and provide a googlestreetmap view of my
house. As far as I'm concerned, he initiated RL activities. I *still*
haven't done much to follow up on that. Hell, just today I let his ISP
know about it; and it took place LAST year.
now, he's threatening me with the feds and terrorist associations to
iran or some shit.

While I appreciate your efforts, I don't really think anything good
will come of it. Did you see the thread, is this really your house? It
was over a thousand! posts; and BD still doesn't feel he was in the
wrong for any of it.
I'm sure you won't take it personally if I keep my distance from you.
But, I don't really know you, and you are in private contact with a
person whom I consider an enemy.

No problem.
I'll just announce what I had in mind here.
David: You will make a public and sincere apology for attempting
to post his house on street view.
Dustin: You will apologize for the rather sickening grave
defacing remark.
At that point you both acknowledge the apologies (whether you mean
it or not), and agree to killfile each other.
First one to mention the other's name is 'the bad guy". It would
be the end of all this.
Can you guys do that to avoid an International incident?!
Seems fair.

As requested/suggested:-
I make (another) public and *sincere* apology for converting an already
published postal address into a Google StreetView - and posting same on
Usenet.
I should *not* have done so - and I will *not* do a similar thing in the
future. I had no idea at the time how much friction it would cause.

Okay, now if Dustin takes back his remarkably insensitive remark,
will you agree to the rest?

LOL. It will not work. History say's different

I'm not going to discuss what my house does look like, ASCII. :)

Okay.

Good luck with that. :)

No, actually; I won't. I was providing David a sample of his own
medicine. Just a small dose tho. Ya see, I know what makes him tick; I
can push his buttons too. Only, I'm far better at this game; I had
excellent teachers and they ensured I'd graduate with a masters in it.
I'm somewhat friendly? because I choose to be to most people, but it's
not really my nature. If you push enough buttons, I will punch you back.
Only, I'll do it harder so you think twice about doing it again.
I could have made an effort and come up with a far more "sickening"
remark. That was just something from the top..Trust me, when it comes to
hurting ones feelings (if necessary) I really do have a Masters degree in
it. Like I said, I had excellent teachers in rl...

Except that hurting vulnerable people or a 'weaker' person from some
perspective is not really good for you.
Having had a background in being hurt by others so that it makes you
want to be stronger and harder and tougher and meaner isn't really the
ultimate route to your own personal growth and happiness.
It would be better to pick the weaker or more vulnerable person up than
put them down.

He (BD) does not work like that (at least not with me when he did it) He calls his
local constabulary and reports it there and gives them the complete info that he is
holding and they are the ones that contact whoever who in turn contact the Homeland
Security and the FBI and BD is fully aware that the latter is the route to take..
That was the route he took with me and I found out after the whole procedure until
they came to my residence was 36 hrs from the time of reporting at his constabulary.
They at the time had my real name from the ISP I use for posting. They did not go
with Peter Foldes but with the IP and the originating ISP whom gave the full info on
me to them,
BD is one piece of work and I believe he is mentally not all there.
I do not forget and I had to delay my return to the UK for reasons that were
necessary at the time. But I will still go back there and meet him personally when
he does not expect it.
> It would be better to pick the weaker or more vulnerable person up than put them

He (BD) is not vulnerable at all Mike and very far from it. He is smart and very
conniving and he puts on this dumb persona to attract more info from the poster.
Then he uses it at some point knowing quite well that the person will come back at
him with more info for his bank of use You should keep that in mind about David
Brooks
BTW: Why do you involve yourself in all of this Mike. You should not

We have a saying around here. If you can't handle the heat, get out of
the kitchen. BD brought this entirely upon himself. I will not remain
passive with him. I'll cut him to the bone with words alone, as I've
already demonstrated. He can't handle what he's so quick to dish out.
If he doesn't want his "feelings" hurt, he'd be best advised to leave
me alone.

I don't need you to tell me what personal growth and happiness should
be. When I think of you lately, the words Anal Retentive come to mind.
I get a mental picture of a tv preacher wanting me to send money; God
told him to tell me to send it. :)
As I explained to Mike, BD initiated. I remained neutral and didn't
return fire for an extended period of time. I'm only going to tolerate
so much before I fire back. if you can't handle it (and BD obviously
cannot, the remark about his son put him near the edge) you probably
shouldn't fire on me at all. I've made one good comment, and BD's
completely lost it and shown his true colors for everyone here to see,
and in his own words, provided a usenet history should anyone new come
along that doesn't know him as I do. :)
He is the dishonest, two faced, pondscum that I said he was from the
beginning. Do you agree with that too Jenn? Laugh laugh.

I remember you saying at one time that it was beneath you to attack someones
deceased loved one.

I didn't attack his loved one, I merely indicated I knew where he resides
these days. I let BD infer the rest and run with it; I *knew* he was a
two faced rat bastard the first time he emailed me. BD would do well to
leave me alone, period. I'm not going to play nice anymore.
See I can keep my sift, to my self can you!

I'm not going to insult you Jenn, I am going to say that you
misunderstood. Nothing more, nothing less. While I don't much care for
you, I don't have any real issues with you either and I intend to keep it
that way.

I thought she was in your bit-bucket.
I _was_ going to say yes - then saw his response to you. <shrug>
