The girl with the problem, Meg is the paragon of how someone may best
gain help from others. Worth a read if you have time.

>> You are so stupid that you do not know it yourself.
That statement is false.
>> Winston and I speak often since we are friends.
That does not surprise me.
>> I use Norton AV which costs more than you PC and you have no idea

<shakes head>
Sometimes one has to ask for help, so I 'borrowed' an Enterprise version
of Norton to test it.
>> Norton for the Enterprise is excellent while the version (NAV) is not
Many commentators say that.
Your friend Andrew Taylor, a moderator of the UK U2U Annexcafe group,
uses Norton 360 I believe (at least, he did) but not once did I see/hear
you recommend that he use something else.
>> You just showed up yourself as a real Troll with that post you did.
I simply wanted to give *you* the opportunity to show yourself up for
the person you really are. Thank you for so doing!
>> We are all having a good laugh at you right now.
There's that *WE* again.
>> You are an idiot and we are starting to realize that you cannot help

There's that 'we' *again*.
Exactly who *are* 'we'? The rest of your team? Good guys or *bad* guys?
>> Just to tell you that my Power Supply costs more than any of your

That would tie in with you having a very expensive and fast Internet
connection (still a T3?). I'm not quite sure why it is relevant here.
>> Idiot extraordinaire is what you are .LOL
You are entitled to your opinion.
My use of Norton AV is what prompted my exclusion from Aumha, which as
you well know, is the *real* 'home' of PA Bear (aka Robear Dyer). I
found that 'interesting', especially as subsequently he lied saying
that I had been banned by an ISP, when this is false) and then he
refuses to communicate further. Such behaviour is irrational!
When one goes to http://aumha.net/ there is an unusual Favicon shown for
the URL in the address bar. Tell me, what does that symbol represent?
Anyone?

That conversation is an embodiment of what is good and what is ugly
about usenet.
It is good that Meg could find a venue where she could posit her
question and get helpful replies.
It is ugly that those who participate get involved in sniping ad hominem
attacks on each other.
Such as webforums and other venues in which there is moderation banish
'ugly' participants and their insults. As a result, the venues in which
there is no such moderation attact ugly/rude ad hominem behavior.
Meg could have found her help without the ugliness if she had chosen to
participate in a moderated forum instead of an open 'free' one.
24hshd suffers badly from excessive ad hominem activity, as do quite a
number of other helpful groups.

Thank you for your comments, Mike.
Did you recognise the Favicon to which I referred?
--
Dave
I wasn't sufficiently interested in whatever favicon there was at the
aumha site to click the link.
Are you sure that you can't work this out all by yourself?

> Did you recognise the Favicon to which I referred?
Did you try logic on your question?
You know what aum-ha means, I assume, with regard to yogic breathing
techniques?
The favicon is an image of some Eastern writing- Hindi, Urdu (maybe even
Arabic, though I doubt it)
Let's go for Hindi first, eh? Hang on a sec while I fire up Google.
People often get tattoos in Sanskrit, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi- just look at
David Beckham's tats.
So I'll search for what the symbol for 'Aum' is in Hindi in tattoo form
(more likely to get an image if I'm searching tattoos).
Guess what I come up with within a few seconds:
Let's check that against the Aumha favicon. Yup, that's a match.
Now that you know what it means will you shut the fuck up about an
inconsequential fucking favicon?

Top posting because your cursor happens to be there is like shitting in
your pants because that's where your asshole happens to be.

You must excuse my stupidity. Try as I might I just cannot see where you
have attempted to answer my question about the Favicon.
I also know no one called Thrish. Who/what is it?

I posted the results of my fleeting research into that. Didn't you read
what I wrote?
