The Biden administration is poised to send a significant number of
Abrams M1 tanks to Ukraine, settling a rift that threatened the unity
of the alliance supporting Ukraine at a pivotal moment in the war,
U.S. officials said.
Meanwhile, Russia is importing running shoes from China for their
soldiers to enable them to run back home faster.

It may be poised, but it ain't pulled the trigger yet. M1 Abrams like jet fuel,
which is scarce in Ukraine. Tanks without fuel are expensive coffins.
Deutschland is waiting for the U.S. to agree to send tanks before it commits any
Leopards or, inexplicably, allows Leopard-owning NATO countries to send theirs.
