Ukrainian forces seem to be making significant progress
now - as Russian forces appear to be in demoralized
disarray.

One goal now it to recapture the Crimean peninsula.

However the Russians there are TRAPPED - and Putin
is NOT going to send ships to rescue them. His
mantra is "Fight Or Die".

So the Russians down there are between the proverbial
rock and hard place. They kind of have no CHOICE but
to fight to the death. To make it worse, it's reported
that the Ukrainians are taking Russian-style revenge
upon Russian troops and especially collaborators in
newly-liberated territories. This is not propaganda,
they BRAG about it.

I don't think Putin will allow Crimea to fall into
Ukrainian hands - he'd nuke it before that happened.
Crimea has been a big Russian thing for over a
century - MUCH blood spilled, MUCH investment,
MAJOR security issues. If Russia can't own it
then NOBODY can own it. He'll kill his own "cowardly"
troops in the process if necessary.
