House to Consider Handing Over Internet Regulation to United Nations

Kurt Nimmo
May 27, 2012

China, Russia, Brazil, India and other UN members are backing a proposal
to hand over regulation of the internet to the UN’s International
Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The House of Representatives will vote on the measure this week. It is
reported that the legislation faces an uphill battle.

They in part or all want it under the UN so they can regulate access,
prohibit free speech as we know it, and tax it.
UN is not about freedom of anyone. It is about global rule and rules
established by most other countries who don't serve their people.
Just look at the list who would like to regulate or shut down their
citizens or ours to free speech from or into their country and regulate
what is communicated here. A global tax is a favorite of the UN. What
better place than a tax or access fee to the Internet.

The day they do that is the day I try to connect with others via a new
network and I'll close any internet connections and sites I have.... I
would work towards creating a "National Net" That is NOT Under any U.N.
treaty.

It's a real good way for congress to destroy the economy more than it
has already.
