I had written this some-time ago, and never
got around to posting it. Now that Bush is
mercifully history, it doesn't seem as relevant,
but I'm still posting it because it connects
some dots about fires at the NSA and the
White House that are possibly part of a pattern,
with the one in Texas. People don't seem to
notice these things, so poets need to point them out.
Like an old jar of mayonnaise in the back of
the refrigerator that needs to be used up before

Thick black smoke billowed from a fire Wednesday on the White
House compound in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.
The blaze appeared to be located in Vice President Dick Cheney's
suite of ceremonial offices [Uh huh. Where they keep the crown
and the ermine robes?] on the second floor of the building.
Cheney and President Bush were across the street in the West
Wing of the White House when the blaze broke out. It appeared to
be under control within an hour.
I assume the D.C. Fire Department has cordoned off the area, and
is checking for arson?
Though, truth to tell, I always assumed the real good stuff
would be kept in the dank bunker Cheney had blasted out under
the Naval Observatory. Probably Cheney just had it sealed, and
the Federalist Society elves he had chained up down there,
writing all the "opinions" for the Fourth Branch of government,
are slowly running out of air?.

Smoke pours out of the building as Loveland Fire and Rescue

Loveland firefighters shoveled debris from the vacant
Cozy Kitchenettes motel so fire investigator Dan Engelhardt could
figure out what started a fire that gutted several rooms Friday

PLEASANTON -- I am a skeptic when it comes to "UFO sightings"
but I must tell you that I SAW something Thursday night August 9,
2007. I was driving south on 680 freeway, around 9 PM, rolling
through Pleasanton I notice to the east four bright white lights.
The brightest was at the very top, then several hundred feet
below was a cluster of three more hovering bright lights that
formed some sort of triangle a couple miles away.
I was moving closer to them as I drove down the highway. I'm
POSITIVE other drivers in other cars saw these lights as well,
but I obviously couldn't tell if anyone was surprised to see
them as I was. These 4 lights were aligned together on the same
plane. I envisioned it to be a huge, giant crane like ones used
to help build skyscrapers, but I knew it was too high in the sky
and too big and too bright to be a crane.

SMITHVILLE, Texas - A crane removing steel beams from an old
bridge over a Central Texas river became overloaded and toppled
Wednesday, killing one worker and injuring another, officials
said.
The crane smashed into a manlift basket where the two men were
working, knocking one off and killing him, Bastrop County
Sheriff Rosanna Abreo said. The bridge is about 75 feet above
the Colorado River, but it was unclear how far the man fell or
whether he landed in the water or the riverbed.
The crane was performing routine work to remove the old Loop 230
bridge in Bastrop County, Cooper said. The old bridge has been
removed piece by piece for months, and what's remaining sits
near the new bridge that replaced it.

Fifth Crane Mishap In South Florida In 2008
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) ?
A crane about 100-feet in height collapsed on its side at a
construction site behind the Galleria mall Tuesday afternoon in
Fort Lauderdale at 900 NE 26th. A driver was pulled from the cab
with serious injuries, and the accident itself is being
investigated.
Matt Little of Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said that the victim
was transported to nearby Broward General Medical Center .
The crane was being used to perform some roof repairs, and is

However, this was only the government's cover story. The true
purpose of Project Blue Book was to test the general public's
perception and reaction to UFO reports and sightings, and to use
the data gleaned from this study as a means to maximize the

population. And from what I understand, this is the point Lynch
is trying to make when he uses the element of Project Blue Book
in Twin Peaks - he's using it to show that there is a greater

throughout the series in which the character Agent Cooper
encounters a dancing midget. To achieve the midget's bizarre
vocalizations, Lynch had the actors phonetically speak backwards
so that when the sound was reversed, the dialogue would be semi-
understandable English, albeit with a strange and otherworldly
quality. However, this was also code that, when you reverse
certain scenes in Twin Peaks, secrets that the real-life "Agent
Cooper" revealed to David Lynch will be revealed.
From what I understand, scenes with David Lynch himself playing
the character of Agent Gordon, when reversed, his dialogue is
particularly latent with secret messages. Now, while "Agent
Cooper" did not explain the meaning behind most of these
messages, he did say that they would be understood by those who
needed to know the information. However, he did say that the
last - the very last line of dialogue in the series, "Where's
Annie?" - which is repeated over and over again - was a
reference to "Project Annie", a hypothetical, top-secret
opperation during the 70's to lace smallpox vaccinations with
cancer-inducing elements. This would lie dormant in the
vaccinated's system until they reached middle age. After the
infectees died, this would essentially leave a population of
younger, easier-to-manipulate "orphans" (hence Orphan "Annie")
for the shadow government to usher along as chattel. Obviously,
this opperation was never actually realized (thank goodness).
However, I understand that it is still on a back burner, and
that's what the "Where's Annie?" line in Twin Peaks is in
reference to - where's Project Annie? Is this still going to

The classic movie A Christmas Story- currently in heavy rotation
on cable- features a subplot involving the hero, Ralphie, who is
excited to finally receive his Lil' Orphan Annie Secret Decoder
Ring. He has been waiting forever to join the exclusive
fraternity of people who have access to the secret knowledge
broadcast to everybody on the radio. But when he decodes his
first message he is stunned to learn that it is a commercial for
Ovaltine. He swears and throws it in the trash.
Now I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch. I think Oswald
acted alone, a balloon crashed at Roswell, Nostradamus was a
crank, men walked on the Moon, Bill Clinton was not a drug
dealer, and Arab terrorists flew a planeload of innocent people
into the Pentagon. But still I decided to attend Richard
Hoagland's press conference "NASA Coverups Continue" on October
29 where he announced his amazing new evidence of a NASA
conspiracy to cover up the existence of giant extraterrestrial
structures on the Moon.
Hoagland was introduced by Cheryll Jones, a fetching former CNN

Those Texas skies and a strange UFO
IT'S A QUESTION as old as time, perhaps, even longer than that:
So are we REALLY alone?
However, it's only mid-January and people in the farming
community of Stephenville, Texas have been shaking their heads
and asking that question. You see, folks, about a week ago,
dozens of people from a pilot to a county cop -- spotted a
massive UFO in their skies and it's now all over the newswires
and on the TV screen.
Concerning the Texas sighting in the past week or so, Steve
Allen, a freight owner and pilot, noted since he lived in the
Bible Belt, people "were afraid it was the end of time."
Those "end times" words brought pronouncements as far away as
Britain when someone named Catherine Brown claimed she had a
prophecy concerning it.
"I see Texas ablaze and a stunning star like the star from the
East is rising over the land, I hear the spirit of the Lord say
to watch for cosmic signs and wonders in Texas and that there
will be cosmological phenomenon that the scientists cannot
explain and that the media will carry as front-line news."
While Missler didn't draw any solid conclusions, it makes one
wonder if these giants known as Nephilim have returned to earth
as space aliens?
It's a question for the theologians, however, in the Andreasson
case they were supposedly about five feet tall or shorter with
pear-shaped heads, wide eyes, and small ears and noses.
Certainly not a description of Goliath and his brothers from the
Bible, who have been identified as gigantic Nephilim.
While explanations for UFO sightings remain a mystery, Erath
County Const. Lee Roy Gaitan, who observed the strange object
over Stephenville, thought it was some kind of military craft
and then added these words: "At least I hope it was."

Lady Liberty League Prison Task Force Update
Over the last few months, Lady Liberty League has made
significant progress in fighting religious discrimination in the
prison systems. Recently, Patrick McCollum made a trip to
Huntsville, Texas to meet with the Director of religious
services for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).
There he joined with local Pagan clergy members Charlayne Denny
and Marie Macdonald, and started negotiations to get religious
rights for Pagan inmates in Texas institutions. Initially, Texas
took the position that they wouldn't provide religious services
for Pagans, so Patrick made a proposal that the whole matter be
reviewed by the Board that oversees all services for Texas
inmates. He then contacted the General Council for TDCJ, and
made his case there, providing the legal department with
significant documentation validating Pagan religious
requirements and practices. At the same time, he also spoke with
the Governor's office, and the Speaker of the House for the
State of Texas, gaining their support.

The latest report was by four teenaged youth youths who said
they saw a large bird with red eyes fly away from their car at a
very high rate of speed. This was 3 a.m. Sunday.
A West Virginia University wildlife biologist suggested last
week that the "thing" is a rare Sandhill Crane. Mr. Pursley
suggested that maybe the "thing", crane, or whatever the people

As Silhouette dies, she reveals that there are other Majestic
divisions all over the world. Crypto, however, is confident that
without Silhouette's leadership, Majestic will be totally
powerless to resist the Furon takeover.
The game ends with Huffman making a televised speech, assuring
America that the recent events were the work of Communists, who
have poisoned the US water supply, and that as a result testing
centers have been set up all across the country to scan people
for harmful toxins. People are then shown being herded by Army
soldiers into strange machines, apparently for brain stem
extraction. Huffman is then revealed to be Crypto in disguise.

Bender was the editor of "Space Review," a UFO periodical for which
Barker was a correspondent.
In the last issue of "Space Review," the newsletter's overall theme
was that the mystery of UFOs was no longer a mystery.

Four fires were extinguished today inside two Senate office
buildings, but no evacuations or arrests were made.
The fires, which were all called "suspicious in nature,"
occurred inside trash cans in four different women's bathrooms,
said Capitol Police Sgt. Kimberly Schneider. No one was injured.
Three fires were in Dirksen Senate Office Building while another
took place in Hart Senate Office Building between about 10:45 a.
m. and 2:00 p.m. Both are located near the U.S. Capitol.
The police department put out the first three fires within a
matter of minutes. The fire department assisted with the last
one because it "generated more smoke than the others," Schneider
said.
The fires are under investigation, she said.

Mansion on fire this month
State Fire Marshal Paul Maldonado said last week that
investigators did not think the blaze was politically motivated,

In the months before the Freedom Ride class rolled away, Tim
Tyson was preoccupied with a distinct memory of Duck Hill,
Mississippi.
A speck of a town off Interstate 55 in the center of the state,
Duck Hill would probably be forgotten if not for its infamy as
the site of one of the most brutal racial murders in the United
States. There, in 1937, a mob of four hundred men, women, and
children dragged two African-American men, whom they suspected
of murdering a white man, into the woods outside of town. The
mob chained the two men to trees and proceeded to brutalize them,
burning their bodies, fingers, and ears with a blowtorch.
And at that moment, the idea for the Freedom Ride course was born.

to almost Texarkana Texas. When determining where to place a
mine, the following steps are accomplished: (1) A geologist with
a geiger counter flies over the area and finds the highest
radiation reading. (2) Drilling trucks are sent out and core
samples are drilled to determine the highest concentration of
uranium ore. These core samples are drilled in a grid pattern
and every core sample is given a tracking number and logged in
showing the concentration and amount of uranium present. (3) The
open pit mine is then laid out according to these core samples.
When this UFO incident happened, we were about 2 feet away from
a layer of hard rock called the "tap rock" that laid directly on
top of the uranium ore. The uranium ore varied in depth from 6
to 18 inches and had about the same brown color as low grade
coal. Two days after this incident, the tap rock was removed to
expose the uranium ore. We were astounded to find that the
uranium ore was now a chalky white substance that had NO
radioactivity at all! There was a 250 foot diameter circle of
this chalky material in the center of the pit.
Outside of the circle, the uranium ore was still as potent as
before the incident. Core samples don't lie. This chalky
material was uranium before this incident.
Many a night I have laid in my bed thinking about what happened.

music. This song of the week took place in 1974, and is sadly an
unreleased work with The Winkies. Brian Eno sang lead in the
song called Paw Paw Negro Blowtorch, an unapologetic tongue-in-
cheek rock song. The title is unique, but it has a meaning and a
historical significance:

s still exceptional rock that today's garage-rock-revival bands

Blowtorch later went on to influence U2's "Where The Streets
Have No Name."
So believe me, you have to make the choice between the Paw Paw
Negro Blow Torch and me. I liked the historical allusion. Could
it be Eno never heard of this guy but picked up the expression
in a gay bar (I know he is and was straight, so why would he be

Vice Presidential UFO Letter Surfaces
A new, Vice-President Johnson, UFO letter has surfaced. This is
one of a couple rare White House UFO letters in existence.
The September 21, 1961 letter was addressed to Canadian UFO
researcher Ronald Anstee. Anstee, who told me years back about
the letter, lent the original to someone in Europe and never got
it back.
Anstee felt that one of the photos taken by UFO contactee George
Adamski showed being looking out the window, and that this
evidence is something that the Vice President should look at.

War of the Worlds (2005)
Tom Cruise exhibits his acting skills with the practiced ease of
a summer blockbuster veteran, in the role of Ray Ferrier
(Fairy-er?). Cruise plays the role of an ex-husband and a bad
father extremely well. Ray Ferrier comes off the screen as your
average, everyday guy. Tim Robbins character is convincingly
creepy; Robbins crackles underneath the surface with an eerie
electricity
The heat ray scenes in this movie are fantastic. It was shocking
to see people burst into clouds of dust.
I would have also liked to see the suffocating black gas from
the book in the movie. Chemical warfare, that's what's hot
playboy. Give me shots of people contorting and dying in pain-
racked spasms.
Final Synopsis: Great special effects. The acting is top-notch.
Keep an eye open for Rick Gonzales. This movie isn't totally
sappy and cheesy; the dark moments of the movie tend to cancel
out that sickening-Spielberg melodrama that is present in so
many of his films. Tom Cruise loves gay wrestling.

Overall, I give this book 3 stars; it's a good story of alien
contact set in the present times, told in a standard fashion.
So, much of HMV discusses exactly how incomprehensible the alien
message is and how futile and hopeless the human scientists are
when it comes to understanding anything about the message. Apart
from this message of despair, the book also examines the
interactions between the various scientists, especially ones
from differing fields. Part of the plot also focuses on the
ethical dilemma of scientists who may have discovered an
ultimate weapon
This book takes an interesting look at academics.

A day with Bobby is like a day with your worst enemy, but Klaatu
has a great time. Meanwhile, the military is also having a great
time trying to blowtorch Klaatu's ship.
Moreover, the film delivers this idea in a bizarrely moralistic
and contradictory way that ultimately reduces to the simple,
"stop fighting or we'll kill you." Is this the superior moral
