Answer: When George Lincoln Rockwell was alive he was Rockwell's
favorite stormtrooper. By 1970 he was the number three officer of the
National Socialist White People's Party (formerly the American Nazi
Party), the manager of the George Lincoln Rockwell bookstore, and in
that same year left the party with the late Dr. William Pierce (the
party's number two officer), as they were close friends. Reference:

[b]Question: When the late Dr. William Pierce and Robert Lloyd
assembled their list of books while still with the NSWPP, is it true
that they included the works of Jack London, the Marxist- racialist in
the George Lincoln Rockwell bookstore, and that Pierce continued to do
that with his National Alliance lists?[/b]
Answer: Yes, it's true, but those were carried for serious students of
the party's ideological antecedents and not for any intentional
advocacy. When George Lincoln Rockwell dropped the name American Nazi
Party to begin a "Phase 2", he renamed it the National Socialist White
People's Party.
This was a result of combining the words national socialist, as from
Germany's NSDAP, and White People's Party, as from America's People's
Party of the 1890s. The latter had been supported by a small fraction
of Marxists, including Jack London.
Rockwell hoped to inject Germany's national socialism into traditional
American populism, but it was a less democratic national socialism he
was trying to mate with our own national socialism (populism). And it
was not only incompatible with the bloodless remedies this country
embraced during the same period, but incompatible with the ongoing
rise of Europeanism throughout the western world since WW2.
Rockwell recognized that London had been drawn to Marxism by
especially harsh economic times, but revolution - led by the left or
right - wasn't the solution to most Americans in the 1890s either.
Despite this, WNs can salute London as a kind of proto-national
socialist, but certainly of the American variety.
A very similar accommodation of another Marxist goes on in today's
Republic of Ireland, it's in regard to a man named James Connolly.
During the 1916 Uprising he was given the task of leading the
military. And although the Irish have never shown much interest in
Marxism, they do avoid any severe criticism of Connolly's orientation,
often turning the conversation to more familiar comparisons with the
village commune. Whatever your pro-White spin, if you really want the
Irish, take that into consideration.
[b]Question: When evaluating the few Marxist publications that might
be carried, what two broad categories did Lloyd and Pierce classify
them with?[/b]
Answer: They made a distinction between old and new Marxism. Karl Marx
challenged certain Jewish political behaviors, though he himself was
Jewish. And the work he and Engels co-authored provoked a lot of
interest in Georg Hegel, an earlier German philosopher and racist.
Hegel took what he estimated to be the best of Greek philosophy and
synthesized it with Christian values, and he's considered to be a
pantheistic Lutheren with a very strong emphasis on politics. For him
god was at work in history.
Additonally, in 'The Philosophy of History,' Hegel provided page after
page of evidence to demonstrate the barbarity of Blacks, then
delivered this parting shot:
[i]At this point we leave Africa, not to mention it again. For it is
no historical part of the world; it has no movement or development to
exhibit.[/i]
After Marx and Engels had made their own effort to "turn Hegel on his
head, and had also passed away, there sprang up a kind of mutant-
Marxism that neither ever advocated.
As the appeal of their ideology died down in many European countries,
a number of writers on the Left started to artificially substitute or
associate the White community for the hated class to be violently
overthrown. And as the existing type of White community became
obsolete, spawning all kinds of colorful champions, a peculiar new
political tradition caught on whereby the cultists from the Left and
the Right would go out each weekend and clash without ever having
anything to show for it.
This is why, if you operate a bookstore or information service in a
PLE, you should carefully inspect any published spin someone offers
you. Try to determine which ones are time wasters and which ones might
actually toss up an idea that's useful for building a new model
community based on American values.
[b]Question: Is there any reason for a book business to carry the
works of Hegel?[/b]
Answer: Yes, in his Philosophy of History Hegel explains that history
is not meaningless chance, but a rational process. And this includes a
very important concept known as the 'Zeitgeist,' or "Spirit of the
Times," an explanation for why certain political behaviors are
successful only within a particular epoch.
[b]Question: Were any of the key policy makers of WW2 familiar with
Hegel?[/b]
Answer: Yes, both sides had policy makers who were well versed in
Hegel, although departing from him dramatically. In the case of Joseph
Stalin, his familiarity was aquired as part of his belief in Marxism.
And Germany's Alfred Rosenberg, the Minister for Occupied Territories,
was delegated as the official philosopher of National Socialism, so he
too was familiar with him.
[b]Question: In your best estimate, could their mutual familiarity
with Hegel have influenced them?[/b]
Answer: Hegel's view was that human history, despite any dialectical
delays, was about constantly moving from forms of bondage into higher
levels of freedom. No one really knows for sure, but Hegel''s message
about freedom would have at least offered a perfect underpinning for
Stalin and Rosenberg to both realize - during the closely balanced
struggle on the Eastern Front - that a compromise to Russian
nationalism (By either Hitler to his Russian volunteers, or by
Stalin's party to his people) was the key to winning the war.
[b]Question: When did Stalin act on that opportunity?[/b]
Answer: An especially seasoned revolutionary, he did so as soon as his
counter-attack was launched. And it surprised everyone.
[b]Question: Is there any hard evidence that Stalin took German
culture quite seriously?[/b]
Answer: Yes. As the German army swept across the Western portion of
his country, travelling all that much faster because the Soviets had
never truly consolidated their hold there, Stalin had his people
interview the military leaders captured and studied their strategy. By
the time of his counterattack his people were mirroring the best of
German military science.
[b]Question: And when did Hitler finally go over to what Rosenberg was
saying about making sincere consessions to White Russian nationalism?[/
b]
Answer: He permitted this enormous change in policy near the end of
the war, but by then it was too late.
[b]Question: Marxism in our part of the world has never been that
successful, as the establishment simply corrects the most obvious
economic abuses, but why don't we do as the WW2 cultists advocate and
smash them anyway?[/b]
Answer: In such realms as economics, history, and philosophy, Marx
gets a lot of criticism, but he's widely credited for significant
contributions as well. In fact, if someone really thinks about it
carefully, it becomes hard to imagine even such ideas as fascism,
national socialism, or the New Deal without him. Beyond that, we
Americans are simply into free speech.
[b]Question: What happened to the George Lincoln Rockwell bookstore?[/
b]
Answer: When those two officers of the party decided that they had
enough with National Socialism in uniforms, and left the NSWPP, they
turned to other interests.
[b]Question: What happened then?[/b]
Answer: Lloyd and his wife invited me to participate as a corporate
partner, though in a minor advisory role, for his Western Destiny
Bookstore. This was located on the ground floor of the same building
as Dr. Pierce's National Youth Alliance (future National Alliance) in
Georgetown, Washington DC.
[b]Question: Is the information on the Southern Poverty Law Center's
web site correct about Dr. William Pierce and Willis Carto working
together in 1970?[/b]
Answer: It clashes badly with what I recall: If Dr. Pierce's name even
shows up on any Youth for Wallace or National Youth Alliance records
before 1970, that would primarily only have served Lou Byer's plan to
transition him in for buying both, which were Carto initiated
projects.
And the SPLC fails to mention at all that Pierce formally departed the
National Socialist White People's Party in the big split of 1970 ...

Then the SPLC claims that Dr. Pierce and Wilis Carto worked together
to reconfigure the Youth for Wallace Project in that year!

What actually happened is that Louis Byers fell out with Carto - while
Pierce was still in the NSWPP - and decided to sell the Youth for
Wallace/National Youth Alliance mailing list to Dr Pierce in that
year.
And not only was Mr. Carto not working with Dr. Pierce at the time, he
was mad as a hornet when the sale took place. Years later, when Dr.
Pierce was better off financially, however, there would at least have
been an opportunity to mend that dispute with new paperwork. But it's
not something I can verify.
What followed soon after the transaction in 1970, however, was a
series of incidents with Carto sponsored people (those Carto wanted in
charge of the Youth for Wallace list on behalf of "his" National Youth
Alliance organization) clashed with Louis Byers and Pierce.
* A Carto associate by the name of Patrick Tifer was soon accused of
turning off the utilities at Dr. Pierce's Georgetown office, and
making threatening phone calls.
* Then I was investigated by the FBI when Tifer's associate, Charles
W. Baker, the publisher of Statecraft newspaper, filed an accusation
that I had kicked down the door to where he and Tifer lived; while Mr.
Baker was home.
* And the Washington D.C. police were summoned when Lou Byers took two
Carto associates at gunpoint, one of whom was Mr. Baker, and accused
them of breaking into his trailor home.
And so no, Dr. Pierce and Willis Carto certainly did not actually work
together before or during 1970, nor for many years after. And anyone
who accepts what the Southern Poverty Law Center says on that has only
fallen for a conspiracy theory.
[b]Question: You've mentioned that Dr. William Pierce then began
advocating militancy, placing an enormous emphasis on raising funds
for what he described in his own words as "his business," but that he
didn't make any effort to raise up a new model community - as Hitler
did in Munich - in support of such militants; so what happened then? [/
b]
Answer: His personal secretary Earl, for whom the Turner Diaries was
eventually named, then suddenly gave notice. That was quickly followed
up by Robert Lloyd closing Western Destiny books. And although I
remained temporarily as Dr. Pierce's first street activist, I too
departed.
[b]Question: As you and Lloyd had at least a minor business
connection, did he suggest any alternative before you decided to
temporarily support Dr. Pierce anyway?[/b]
Answer: Yes, we went for a long and very serious drive. And in the
course of it he told me that, for the best interests of his family, he
had decided to pursue a different course from Dr. Pierce. This was at
a time when the Washington DC area and the nation was in quite a lot
of turmoil over the Vietnam War, and he invited me to participate in a
book selling venture that would open the doors much wider to what we
would sell; especially to the young people who were aggressively
driving the anti-war movement.
In other words, it wasn't going to be the highly controlled and
selective approach Pierce was about to use to promote the importation
of Germany's National Socialism into the United States - with its
incongruent divorcing of the uniforms and swastika. Instead he wanted
to free up access to historical information, whether it was coming
from the left or right (as long as the sentiments are pro-White), and
operate without a cult agenda at all.
[b]Question: How did you respond to that?[/b]
Answer: To be quite honest about it, at the time I just thought he'd
gone off the deep end. After a lot of reflection, however, I came to
realize how emotionally pummelled Lloyd must have been by all that had
happened between 1967 and 1970:
A gun borrowed from him by John Patler, and never returned, had been
used to assassinate Rockwell; after conviction Patler defeated him in
a civil lawsuit for monetrary damages because of alleged telephone
harassment; the Koehl versus Pierce political split created a need to
relocate his book business; a request by Lloyd for Don BLack to seize
the mailing list of the National States Rights Party had resulted in
James Earl Ray's brother shooting Don Black; and Lloyd's relationship
with his wife had become destablized and would soon become a
separation.
Additionally, from my own point of view, I didn't know much about
populism at that time, and how it was actually the American answer to
any artificial importation of national socialism, so I continued to
assist Dr. Pierce for awhile longer.
Today I accept that we need to go totally populist, and evolve within
that tradition, leaving any cultism behind. A truly American third way
movement is capable of getting us where we need to go, and in the
shortest period of time. But Rockwell had at least gotten it half
right.
Had he embraced just the populist side first, then laid claim to all
of White history from this other direction, including a dialogue on
any Hitler controversies, that would have been PLE.
Whenever handling the Marxist controversy, for example, I first
consider how the populists did it in the 1890s, then how W. W. Waters
employed populist and grass roots legionism in 1932, and finally how
this is the age of the "political/cultural/lifestyle community." To
many of us this points directly to embracing PLE-Legionism (Or
whatever anyone prefers to call such activity).
[b]Question: Here we are after more than forty years of educational
work by the late Dr. William Pierce and his associates, and yet we
still have no new model of the White community.
As Dr. Pierce read German, unlike most people, he would certainly have
known that Hitler raised up a new model of the White community (the
Volksgeimschaft); gave the building task to the largest leadership
rank of his party; and centered the party's resources in Munich (ref.
Mein Kampf).
This is an extraordinary neglect, as the known principles of community
organizing indicate that a conscious community of any size will flex
influence. Has anything like this happened before?[/b]
Answer: Yes, and many of the Christians among us are familiar with it,
as it's in the New Testament gospel of Matthew where Jesus explains:
"The Pharisees and the scribes have taken the keys of Knowledge and
hidden them. They themselves have not entered, nor have they allowed
to enter those who wish to."
The rise of a true community is an emotionally charged event, one that
profoundly changes and empowers all those who participate in it. On
the other hand, even if the most prestigious person comes along - as
Dr. Pierce was even by the establishments standards - to try cooly,
safely, and intellectually lead the racial struggle from atop a
mountain, neither he nor the people he favors will be properly
equipped within their hearts to change the world.
We don't need another forty years of education, music, and dropping
hints about getting rough, we need a new model community immediately.
And true leaders, tested by the demands of conflict and peace, will
continually present themselves there.
[b]Question: During the Bonus March 20,000 military veterans marched
on Washington, and it was discreetly guided by Water's third way
movement; but how did Waters manage to stay at the helm and keep the
Marxists from hijacking it? [/b]
Answer: To begin with, Waters appointed only staff officers who were
either anti-communist or at least firmly non-communist. Those people
in turn appointed others who kept the Marxists out of the huge
encampments all around Washington DC, which were bad for the health of
Marxists anyway when they did occasionally slip in.
But when the Marxists showed up outside the encampments, Waters kept
in mind that they were as hungry as his own men - and fed them!
Whenever this occurred he also found it was the perfect opportunity to
talk to them about populism (American style national socialism), the
third way of politics (or in PLE speak: "grassroots legionism brought
into politics").
Then there's one more aspect to this that's quite important: When the
authorities made attempts to obstruct Waters' troops - using soldiers,
police, railroad officials, American Legion headquarters staff, and
politicians, as they did in a number of cities when the marchers were
headed for Washington - Waters would occasionally quit and say "I
can't very well control all these characters now."
And Waters wasn't going to do them any favors by illegally corralling
the Marxists that constantly trailed the march either; so at that
point there would suddenly appear more generals than privates. The
authorities always came to the realization that they'd better
cooperate to keep Waters at the helm, and the tactic Waters was using
is still employed by many labor unions today.
[b]Question: As you have covered elsewhere, after the march on
Washington DC by Waters and those 20,000 veterans, Franklin Roosevelt
captured the presidency and implemented his own third way solutions.
Do you think it's true, as some conservatives alleged at that time,
that he was pushed too far into adopting communist remedies? [/b]
Answer: No, I don't subscribe to that view, as it was promoted by
corporate types who offered social security as their evidence. And it
was actually the German national socialists who adopted more than was
going to work out in the long run; especially with the adage that "the
means is justified by the end."
[b]Question: The German National Socialist view of Marxism was that it
was simply Jewish, so Roosevelt was also criticized for availing
himself of too many Jewish advisors. Do you think he went too far
there?[/b]
Answer: This is actually similar to the last question: Yes, Roosevelt
availed himself of many advisors during his career, including those
who were assailed by their opponents as "fascist," such as Huey Long
(before Roosevelt's election), Father Coughlin, and Joseph Kennedy.
Then he turned to a number of Jews, but he did not support anything
like the Transfer Agreement Hitler Germany signed in 1933 to send
money, firearms, trade, advisors (such as Adolf Eichmann) and settlers
to Palestine.
Roosevelt estimated such support could cause problems for generations
to come, and it has, draining this country of billions of dollars and
the lives of many soldiers who served in Middle East wars.
And that solid connection between Washington DC and the Zionists was
not truly fused until President Harry Truman, emotionally tipped by
Hitler's vengeance against the Jews as a race (whatever the exact
nature of it, which we'll explore further on the forums of a PLE),
decided to try his own hand at resolving the Jewish question and
recognized the state of Israel.
[b]Question: You've mentioned that you went from supporting the George
Lincoln Rockwell bookstore, to participating in Western Destiny books,
and then co-founded White Legion Books. All three of these carried
many books about Germany's armed forces during WW2, but should we
still do that with our own hard-copy book busineses and on-line sites?
[/b]
Answer: Absolutely, as it's an important part of the race history we
must put a public claim on, just as we must claim both sides of the
American Civil War, or like a cannon it will be turned around to be
used against us. So consider any books on the doings of the Allies,
including the former Soviet armed forces with its own emphasis on
White ethnic divisions.
Afterall, who would dare tell Charles Lindbergh that all the events in
his Pacific theatre of war - from the attack on Pearl Harbor to the
dropping of the atomic bombs - weren't part of an ongoing White
history. In his later years, in his 'Autobiograhy of Values,'
Lindbergh also made clear his conclusions about Hitler. And
essentially he summed the man up a being responsible for both an
extraordinary amount of good and evil.
Or consider Henry Ford, who had been given a public salute in Mein
Kamp for what he knew about Jewish stratafication, yet he too got
behind the Allied war effort.
Ford's White Russian in Germany had provided him with the Protocols of
Zion, then assisted Hitler to power, so they would have wasted no time
in contacting him to complain that Hitler was set on colonizing their
country.
In a letter (extant) written on December 30, 1931, Alfred Rosenberg
informed Vladimir Biskupskii, the representative for the White Russian
communty, that the German need for Lebensraum (living space) in the
East overruled the wishes of the White Russian Emigres.
Germany's call for a "European Crusade" against Judaic communism would
serve as the cover for this agenda, though the anti-Semitic Stalin was
actually in power, and so Ford assisted Roosevelt by manufacturing
thousands of trucks for Russia.

And so here the pro-White movement is today, still divided. Many
accept the views of Lindbergh, Ford, and even Roosevelt, while others
embrace a much more revisionist view that mitigates what occurred. And
finally there are those who believe that it shouldn't matter at all.
All of this needs to be explored today in an emotionally detached
manner, as our greatest passions must be directed now toward raising
up our PLEs. Keep in mind that many Russians - despite their having
since thrown off the error of Marxism - still honor family members who
did nothing more peculiar than resisting another nation's colonial
ambitions.
But the most important thing is to recognize that Stormfront, and
Stormfronts of the street (aka PLEs) are the places for us to come
together and sort these controveries out; for if we do this the rest
of the world is going to come to the conclusion that these living
spaces of White community are for us and not for them.
[b]Question: What has changed for you during the last forty years of
politics?[/b]
Answer: I eventually realized that the people who are trying to import
Germany's National Socialism are using a tightly restrictive
interpretation of WW2 that is frozen in time and weakened by missing
research gaps. But there are some explosive contradictions that arise
when anyone tries to do that:
For example, when Hitler's people described what had occurred during
the Russian Revolution, they essentially just repeated what many
defenders of the the Romanovs told them after they had fled over to
Germany: "We were doing a really great job of running the country,
everybody was happy, but then the Jews overthrew us. End of story."
Yes, the Jews were prominent during the Russian Revolution, but many
of today's historians have uncovered more on this subject. The Czar's
people were standing in the way of an enormous need to industrialize
that country, and a vast number of people needed immediate training
and at least enough social freedom to participate in the endeavor. It
would require a much greater number than the privileged elite in
control. But how did the Czar and his supporters respond to these
initially rational calls for reform?
They answered with obstruction and terror, clinging to a way of life
that had not changed much for many centuries. This was a very serious
error by the Romanovs, and very different from the way such calls for
modernization were handled in countries like England and the United
States, so a harder and crueler opposition emerged. Eventually a
horrific social storm broke loose to sweep the Romanovs away; much as
a cork is suddenly expelled from a champagne bottle.
If we examine the way Hitler interpreted what was occurring, focusing
on how very Jewish the Bolshevik leadership was (An influence that had
already stirred up difficulty in his own country), and how he
prioritized his own people's interest in living space instead of what
the Russian people needed, then we can understand instantly why there
was war and the deaths of so many millions of White people.
But it is not so easy to forgive the ignorance of the people today
who, in representing themselves as "National Socialists," still offer
us the exact same superficial explanation that sufficed in the early
part of the last century. These pretend that the Romanovs knew what
they were doing, and that only the Bolsheviks were using terror. These
also assume that Hitler was offering a sincere European crusade during
his invasion of Russian, but it only became sincere in the last and
losing stage of the war. And that won't win today's Russians.
Hitler also employed, on the advice of his White Russian emigre
supporters (The leading funders of the party during the 1920s, they
provided many of its key ideological sources), the exact same terror
tradition that the Romanov's had counted on. Ref: 'The Russian Roots
of Nazism' - White Emigres & the Making of National Socialism
1917-1945 by Michael Kellogg Cambridge University Press, UK 2005 And
yes, even with that miscalculation, Hitler may have come close to
winning, but the postwar world would have been unsettled too.
[b]Question: Hitler held a disastrous underestimation of the Slavic
peoples, who are indeed part of our race, but what of his observation
that Jews rise to the leadership of both Marxism and Capitalism?[/b]
Answer: From the PLE perspective this requires a modern update: Before
WW2 it would have sufficed to say that there was merely a Jewish
question. The ethnic stratification was especially obvious in such
countries as Germany, Poland, and Russia (and would eventually become
so in the US as well), whether you believe in conspiracies or not. But
the international community offered little sympathy and no solution;
so with the coming of war an unrestrained Hitler metamorpdosed into a
modern incarnation of the French Revolution's Maximillien Robespierre.
Following the war, however, many in the international community
thought that the state of Israel was the answer for their blunder on
the Jewish question, but that controversy is to date still unresolved.
Worse yet, the Western world has since picked up an enormously
complicated immigration problem - fueled by competitive economies and
a greater ability to travel - that involves a staggering number of
other nonWhites as well. The total effect no longer fits the more
simple explanations and tactics of the 1940s.
Yes, Capitalist and Communist parties - as they're both largely
economic in orientation - do provide ideal environments for the rise
of Jews, who soon begin networking with each other much to the chagrin
of everyone else. Today no one is as politically powerful as the Jews.
Then the situation became far worse for Whites with the immigration &
Nationality Act of 1965. This resulted in a flood of nonWhites and
Whites became a minority; so in any social arrangement - whether it's
a nation, community, religion, military, party, business, or club,
etc. - any nonWhites with the right abilities, especially for
networking or economics, will seize control.
[b]Question: The NS cultists constantly hint that they want us to help
them to awake the existing type of White community, by shaking our
people violently and accepting a lot of collateral damage. What do you
say to that?[/b]
Answer: They are cultists because that isn't how the real National
Socialists went about it. The NSDAP created a new model of the German
White community in Munich, Germany, they didn't threaten their own
race in the government offices. And it was only after gaining Munich
that a complete terraforming spread across Germany.
A faction of people in the German military had seen the Irish
Nationalists do the same thing just a few years earlier, as they had
assisted them from afar; but if the Irish had neglected to raise up
their own fully functioning new model society, and merely attacked the
British culture imposed upon them, Ireland would still be British.
[b]Question: How should a PLE bookstore on the Internet choose its
books?[/b]
Answer: If a anyone with a pro-White spin - whatever their views on
WW2 - recommends a title, consider carrying it. In fact, even if
someone of a cultish persuasion offers you a useful title, consider
that too, as many people still don't know that the Russian revolution
suffered from Jewish ethnic stratification. And like the French
revolution, the morality of every aspect of it isn't dismissed by most
historians.
And I wouldn't stop there either. Over the years I have seen all kinds
of pro-White researchers going through left wing books to skim off
ideas, such as the way Dr. Pierce studied the Marxist handbook the
Mini-manual of the Urban Guerrilla before he wrote his Turner Diaries;
the way he and the John Birch Society routinely sold the Communist
Manifesto; or the many books referenced while writing the PLE
prospectus.
And as a PLE rises up, consider carrying more and more about peaceful
negotiation and less about militant cultism.
Various types of communism were advocated by Whites throughout
history, from Plato to the Shakers, though it was usually of a more
Utopian interest than for the large number who lived under it in
Russia. But if someone wants to sell war surplus material within a PLE
target area, and occasionally puts Soviet watches or uniforms in the
window, just smile and stay relaxed.
That lesson has been learned painfully well for the foreseeable
future. The whole point is not to overreact, as it will enable us to
embrace as many White ethnic nationalists as possible, including those
from eastern European countries that are still recovering from the
trauma of the Marxist experiment and haven't any intention of
insulting the wartime sacrifices of their family members.
[b]Question: This freedom of information approach sounds very much
like what Robert Lloyd was advocating in 1970, and sounds as if it's
in step with the age of the computer and Internet, but shouldn't we be
concerned about risks?[/b]
Answer: Today White Nationalism is so bogged down with impotent
cultisms that Robert Lloyd looks as if he was three decades ahead of
his time, but 1970 was just two years before Nixon went to China and
the FBI closed its public exhibit about the Red menace. I'd project
that it will be mostly cultists frozen in time who will protest this
stance, but I'm urging them to consider how daring it was of the real
National Socialists to actually use the color red in the 1930s.
Consider also how the White people in Russia today view the obsolete
printed political propaganda and paraphernalia of their Bolsheviks;
much as a doctor looks at an interesting but dead virus.
Young Russians today are remarkably honest about how Stalin's regime
brought both horrors and modernization. Ref: 'Stalin's War' by
Geoffrey Roberts Yale University Press 2006 When we also find
ourselves speaking in a more detached way about Stalin and Hitler, as
we go about raising up the best new model White community possible,
we'll be a much more mature movement.
We can't follow any foreign militant tradition, but we can coolly and
calmly lay a claim over all of their White histories, East and West,
whether they did right or wrong. This will not only break every
negative stereotype our opponents try to place on us, but it will also
reach many more new people throughout the world.
[b]Question: We often hear about people who say that they have brought
Germany's national socialism to this country. If that's true, why have
they nothing to show us for all the work they've been doing all this
time?[/b]
Answer: Explaining that will require a few steps, but it can be done.
To begin with, there's no shortage of quotes from the original
national socialists of Germany on that subject. And they cautioned
against anyone trying to simply transplant their creed, because it was
created for Germans FROM clearly defined principles.
[b]Question: Ok, the point is well taken: No one can make Germans out
of Italians or Germans out of Americans, but what about these
principles? How did they work?[/b]
Answer: The first thing to notice is the name of Hitler's party: The
National Socialist German Worker's Party. The use of the expression
national socialist came at a time when the mass of Germans had lost
faith in the middle of the road parties, and most had either embraced
the far right or the far left.
Combining National with Socialist was viewed as a way to offer a much
polarized nation a way to come together into what's known as a
SYTHESIS, an arrangement meeting the expectations of most people. This
was seen as an alternative to the parties that were merely patriotic,
or those which merely offered a redistribution of the wealth.
[b]Question: I see. So when the NSDAP figured out this synthesis, did
they advocate as many NS cultists do here that the government offices
be attacked?[/b]
Answer: No, what Hitler actually did, as he clearly records in his
book Mein Kampf, is that he centered nearly all the party's resources
and manpower in the city of Munich.
[b]Question: He did? Did that mean that he was running away, hoping to
enjoy life in that more pleasant place?[/b]
Answer: No, he wasn't running away. He brought the NSDAP there because
he intended to create a new model of the White community. And once he
had that new model operating, where everyone could see it functioning,
it served as a guide for the cultural terraforming of the nation. And
the survival skills of a people are in its culture.

[b]Question: Germany is a big country, with many nice cities and towns
in those days, so did they do as the cultists tend to do here, where
they spend a lot of time arguing about which places should or should
not be organized because of hostile social conditions or unpleasant
weather?[/b]
Answer: No, that didn't go on with the NSDAP. As Hitler explained in
Mein Kampf, it's the availability of a local organizer that decides
where to begin; so even if an organizer lived in a difficult location
that was going to be the place.
[b]Question: OK, well you mentioned that Hitler directed the NSDAP to
raise up a new model of the White community in Germany, but where
exactly did the seed of that come from? [/b]
Answer: Hitler viewed the NSDAP as the first local seed of that future
national community. As such, he also decided that the largest
leadership rank of the party would both organize and maintain this new
model society, door to door, block by block. And believe it or not,
they continued to do that in every German community there was.
[b]Questioner: I'm beginning to see, it's all about principles. And
all this time I thought he just imported Italian fascism and told the
Germans to wake up and smell the roses![/b]
Answer: Life is better when you know the inside story.
[b]Question: When Hitler was trying to colonize Russia, to gain more
living space for the German people, his party put a lot of emphasis on
waging a "European Crusade." In fact, even today there's still an
emphasis on the "European Union" and not much on nationalism. What's
going on?[/b]
Answer: For centuries there have been proponents of various forms of
unity in Europe, especially in Germany, and so yes, it can be said
that nationalism within a larger Europeanism has been the trend.
[b]Question: Interesting, but does Europeanism have anything to do
with the kind of political program that we should be offering here in
the United States?[/b]
Answer: Yes, it sure does. If you were to take a close look at the
American organizations which took opposing sides about the US getting
into WW2, what you'd quickly decern is how very ethnic they tended to
be; including Germans, Italians, Irish, and other White ethnics.
If you had joined the German-American bund, for example, they'd have
soon informed you that it's about Germany over all. The same thing
goes on in the groups that have simply imported national socialism.
German music, philosophy, or people all get preferential treatment.
But that's not where pro-White politics will go to succeed, because
whatever a person's views on WW2, most of our people identify
themselves as "White," "Euro," or "European." And it's one more reason
why our people don't respond very well to those who proffer only a
cult view, a no effort and easy to swallow pill about German
nationalism during WW2, instead of learning things from their
organizing process.
[b]Question: When do you think White Nationalism is really going to be
on a roll?[/b]
Answer: That will happen when our efforts are directed toward raising
up a new model of the White community, bringing the pro-White forces
together for the great synthesis, and enabling our supporters to
terraform this nation - and the European world.
The pattern for this is already here in front of our eyes, the
Stormfront community, but it must be taken into the outside world and
become Stormfronts of the streets (aka PLEs), those partly visible and
partly invisible communities with one foot in the system and one foot
out.
[b]Question: Many of us with a really dark sense of humor found a kind
of forbiden pleasure in Rockwell's race comedy, and the book lists
issued by Pierce could be quite educational, but have you any idea why
these fellows fell into the well of cultism and superficial appearaces
instead of raising up a new-model White community; as Hitler and the
Irish did before him?[/b]
Answer: From the very core of my being I believe that each of them
experienced an extraordinary event of the mind; something the British
scientist William Sargant refers to as the "Transmarginal Phase" of
thinking. Ironically, Sargant's book, 'Battle for the Mind," was
Pierce's second most valued possession; so he at least saw part of the
puzzle.
It was Sargant's view that, given the appropriate stressors, anyone's
brain can experience a sudden re-programming, permitting a dramatic
change in their values. Although the brain is an organ, this happens
because the brain also has a resemblance to the body's muscles and is
just as capable of collapsing when overwhelmed.
If a person is experiencing a great deal of frustration in life, or
the stressors are chemical, the brain is automatically set-up to say
"Here. try something completely different, as that's not the way to
go." Then suddenly, ideas or values which were secondary in your mind,
leap forward and get a higher priority for you, Among cult-
deprogrammers Sargant is quite well known.
[b]Question: In your best estimate, what caused Rockwell to get to
that point?[/b]
Answer: His story appears quite obvious to me, but any NS cultist
reading 'This Time The World" is conditioned not to see a revelation
that's actually in the book. Rockwell was very candid about a life-
long battle with alchoholism, and the break-up of his marriages. Most
of Pierces many marriages also collasped, but his supporters don't
make a connection to cultism either.
[b]Question: When you were around the NSDAP did you see or hear
anything else that would further substantiate that there was a
connection between alcohol and his conclusions?[/b]
Answer: Yes, Robert Lloyd once recounted for me the circumstances
behind Rockwell and himself writing a little booklet titled 'The Diary
of Ann Fink.' Each page was one of those strangely limited photos that
the media circulates about the WW2 concentration camps.
As a protest Rockwell and Lloyd placed a bit of comedy below each one.
For example, there was a photo of a Jew in a camp uniform hanging in a
death-like pose across a barbed wire perimeter fence; so under that
one was printed the words "Man O Manischewitz what a wine!"
Lloyd also informed me that he and Rockwell were quite drunk when they
wrote this and pasted it up for the camera, even going so far as to
print this on the party's printing press. But apparently even in the
party there was a howling protest from some quarters, so Rockwell
decided to destroy any of the stock that hadn't been given out.
[b]Question: Can you estimate why the connection between Rockwell's
cultism (i.e. "NS" without a synthesis toward a Volksgemeinschaft) and
his alcoholism hasn't generally been made before?[/
b]
Answer: Yes, Rockwell became the icon for "American Nazism" in the
1960s, just as Anton La Vey became the icon for Satanism, due to two
pillars of support:
First there were his supporters, those like himself who held a
superficial impression of what NS was all about instead of interest in
a new model of the White community, or Volksgemeinschaft). As is
typical of anyone in a cult, they would see no connection between
Rockwell's difficulties and the distortion of NS he was writing. It
was filtered out of the mind.
Then there was the media. To them Rockwell appeared to be the very
mirror of their worst nightmare, and it sold copy. And they weren't
going to look a gift horse in the mouth by connecting the dots either,
as Rockwell's counterfit product had all the non-community aspects
that they mistakenly presumed Hitler's NS was all about.
[b]Question: And what about Pierce? What do you think accounts for his
drift into cultism?[/b]
Answer: That's a harder one for me to estimate, but there was an
observation about his general health that truly set him apart from
most anyone you'd meet on most days, and that was his eyes. Dr.
Pierce's glasses had the thickness of a bottle, and without those he
couldn't see much.
Despite this, he would sometimes remove the glasses in order to offer
a photographer a more normal appearance. As the eyes are very close to
the brain, it's possible some condition affected him directly or made
him susceptible to stresses in his personal enviroment.
[b]Question: When people take up pusedo-national socialism, merely
wrapping themselves in symbolic trappings and ignoring any synthesis
of the pro-White forces, do you think that they might still have a
gambler's long shot at coming to power?[/b]
Answer: Rockwellism has floundered along for more than a half century
and shouldn't be compared to gambling, as it's better likened to a
sweepstakes or bingo game for the elderly,
where only finite rewards (publicity, amusement, mechandise sales
etc.) are available. Real political success comes from conscious
communities, such as a Volksgemeinschaft, or what the Irish called a
Pobal Gaelach. Real power is not about accepting your opponents
definition of what your White community is about.
[b]Question: In your own book, the Pioneer Little Europe prospectus,
you mention the philosopher Eric Hoffer, who received a presidential
award for his work on how it's the non-conformists who make history.
And with the lack of a true White community for our people, the PLE
prospectus suggests taking a similar course - welcoming in pro-White
people no matter how colorful or cultish their spins - in order to
gain local living spaces for new-model White communities. Within
those, how will most people size up the work of Rockwell and Pierce?[/
b]
Answer: Rockwell never found his way home to a true White community,
and was a public icon unknown to his neigbors to the end, but he
still coined the expression "White Power."
And Pierce, despite some truly serious errors - which resulted in the
needless deaths of some of his own idealists (and the innocent), who
never experienced support from a conscious community - will be
remembered as a mixed blessing too.
There's a line of Shakespere's that comes to mind here, from his play
Julius Ceasar: "The evil that men do lives after them, the good is oft
interred with their bones." And for the benefit of the modern reader
I'll add this: "the good is often unfairly interred with their bones
Many years ago I spoke about this line to Sir Oswald Mosley's
secretary, my friend the late Jefferey Hamm, and shortly after it
inspired the title to his second book.
