I wonderif they realize how soon they'll enter the working world with
mortgage and car payments on top of the now much bigger student loans to
repay. And on top of that, they'll be forced to purchase a cadillac health
plan that's way overkill for their age.
They'll also be paying for the Obamacare federal deficits, as well as higher
state taxes resulting from Obamacare's unfunded Medicaid mandate.
Good luck with that whole prosperity thing.

Taxes are the price of prosperity.
No taxes. No prosperity.

Everyone's prosperity is dependent on the institutions and objects
created and guaranteed by government. Without taxes, they couldn't
exist.

fucking anarchists
Prosperity has been slipping away. This government is bankrupt. It has
too many institutions and objects we can no longer afford.

Our economic problems reflect Conservatives' attempts to destroy
government. When the effects of their treason have been repaired,
prosperity will return.
Somebody else's, no doubt.
Um, California is and has been run by liberals for a very long time
now...
The only thing being destroyed is the state itself by massive
taxation.
You're not very bright, are you?
and California is not the only bankrupt blue state.
In fact, if you want to see rampant liberal governance writ large
simply look at Detroit, Newark, New Orleans, Philadelphia and
Washington D.C (to name but a few) -- All as blue as the day is long
and all abject failures.
And it's not a question of dollars -- all of these municipalities are
extremely expensive to live and do business in.
Sorry, for a minute I thought we were discussing California, you know
the state run by a repug governor with a big bunch of repugs in the
state house and senate. So is that the California or are we talking
about another one?
You ever hear of Schwarzenegger? Movie star?
Yeah, during the Bush years you right wingers followed in Cheney's
foot steps. You pointed out that debt didn't matter. So why does
Obama's debt matter now? Your debt, the highest in history didn't
matter. Obama's does.
You got an explanation for that?
"A big bunch...?"
You're not too bright, are you?
Democrats out-number Republicans in the CA congress by almost two-to-
one, skippy...
They have for some time.
As to Arnold, he's done nothing that could remotely be described as
"conservative", particularly regarding spending.
You're suggesting the state should spend even more?
Or are you saying they should cut taxes?
You also seem to be unclear on the power the state constitution grants
the governor -- it's tepid at best

See above.
For starters, Obama's first-year debt is GREATER than Bush's eight-
year total.
You whined about Bush's debt, which as a % of GDP was below historical
averages and you seem not bothered the least by Obama's cap-blowing,
record-setting debt orgy.
Why is this?

That's what you think? Are you characters following in Biden's footsteps?

In fact, much brighter than you. For instance, I know US economic policy
since the Reagan nightmare has been overwheleming conservative in nature.
