"Sheesh", a schmuck expression. The Sierra Club's immigration
policy is dictated by the gay Hollywood Jewish mogul David
Geflen. He pledged 50 million in contributions with the proviso
that immigration not be discussed. (This raises the greater
question; why are all Jewish politicians and organizations
pro-immigration?)

Idiot.

It's *Geffen*.

Saying "David Geflen (sic) dictates Sierra Club policy" is
about as stupid as saying there were WMD in Iraq, global
warming is a fraud, or Sarah Palin is competent to be
President.

The Sierra Club is one of the few large organizations that
elects its board by vote of the whole membership, and where
candidates can run by petition.

SC policies are set by the membership at large (possibly to
the SC's financial loss), not by any single contributor or
group of contributors.

Love, Wolf.

Naive schmuck. Talk to Carl Pope re: the contribution scandal.
It's old news. And they won't deny it.

I know Carl. And that article is horseshit.

It has to be. The basic physics of the situation is that
the SC membership as a whole votes every year. It's easy
to get a board nominee or a referendum on the ballot. It's
not possible to buy the SC (which maybe is a bad thing from
an organizational standpoint).

The New York Times is a useful reference, and maybe the
WaPo and the LA Times. Usually Wikipedia is useful. But
quoting a wacked-out wingnut Website to substantiate
wacked-out wingnut meme is vacuous.

Note that, using the same quality of reference, the Earth
is flat:

BTW, I observe we've migrated from "the gay Hollywood Jewish
mogul David Geflen (sic)" to "[Hedge fund entrepreneur]
David Gelbaum". They, er, are really not the same person.

Did your mother drop you, or were you born a rock with lips?

Love, Wolf.
