My gaydar is not very accurate; it works when I see someone like
Liberace, but beyond that I wouldn't put serious money on what my
gaydar tells me.
That having been said, Ralph Reed sets off a very loud and steady
"ping" for me. Don't know about Bauer; have never seen him on TV.

Reed I feel is straight - no resaon for this, just instinct. I bet
he's a madman in the sack too, seriously. Gotta love those southern
bible belt boys.
Rex Reed, on the other hand, well.......
Mel
Um, no, I don't *know* Ralph, um, hello? I merely mentioned a passing
observation that I felt he was straight, just as someone else might
mention they thought he was gay. Does it make a difference? This is
APG, we're all here to speculate.
And no, I am not a gay man, try straight female, and I don't have a
gay friend I'm trying to protect. No conservative causes either.
But what about Rex Reed? Come on now....
Mel
remembering the time Rex reviewed one of the Alien films, yelling out
loud "for God's sake it's horible, it's just shaved heads!"

I agree about Ralph Reed but I have quite the opposite impression of
Gary Bauer. Something about his mouth always suggests to me that it
has very recently been hungrily gobbling on some dick. Like maybe even
in his dressing room before walking out onto the podium to spout his
insufferable tripe.

Gary Bauer reminds me of a cross between Chuckie, from the Child's
Play movies, and Truman Capote.
