The situation is akin to that of those brought before international
courts which have no meaningful legal jurisdiction, merely power
arrogated to them by the powerful. If you defend yourself you are
tacitly accepting the jurisdiction of the court.
The correct response is to refuse to acknowledge the court. In the same
way, the correct response to claims that there is such a thing as EU
citizenship is to ignore as having no substance. RH

.... make the most out the situation. The Greeks have
been doing it for eons. They don't have PC problems
because every citizen turns a blind eye + they get paid
to be in the EU. Learn from the pros.
Charles I refused to acknowledge the court that put him on trial for
treason. It didnt end well.
Sounds a bit like head in the sand.
Don't see how you can't ignore EU landfill fines which are sought via council tax.
Or EU contributions sourced from general tax.
It's ok to say ignore paying these EU taxes but I think you'll end up in prison.

More like head in the basket.

He made the mistake of acknowledging it by taking part in its
proceedings. Also, I did not say failing to acknowledge a court meant
you got off scotch free...RH
Oh yes it did...

Scotch free!
Now you've upset the Scots as well. ;)

LOL you think he doesn't know that?:))
I wish it was, it would save me a bloody fortune :-)

I've never had a pint of Lorimers scotch for years. The beer they sell
round here now is piss :(
And the term is 'scot free' means not being taxed.
In common parlance yes, scot and lot and all that. However, in the
context of Scotchland it means living as the Scotch do, ie, putting
their hands deep into English pockets... RH

Living in Northern England I'm well aware of the Barnett formula but
the SE of England has been dipping it's hands into other's pockets for
decades. Decentralise government and move parliament to somewhere like
Sunderland and watch where the money goes.
London in particular and the SE in general subsidises every area of the
UK. RH

No it doesn't. It sucks in all the wealth created outside.

It sucks in the wealth from outside like a leech feeding on an artery
No, that's right. It's about doing the right thing.
