Thousands of jobs that were to have been created in Britain to build
the next generation of nuclear power plants could be heading overseas
instead, after Westinghouse, the nuclear company sold by the
government three years ago to Toshiba, chose one of its largest
shareholders as the lead contractor to build reactors.

The disenfranchisement of the British proletariat is now conspicuous
for all to see.

Yet, we see that in our sacred isle dwells multitudes of debased
intellects that must have a penchant for self-abuse. How else can you
explain why people still vote NL?

I gotta admit this is f'ed up. Just out of curiosity how is it
possible to
build a nuclear power plant in the US and then ship it to the UK?

I'm more surprised that the job didn't go to India -- like most US
jobs do.
