I support the return of imperial measures weights and because it is part of our history. Moreover, the attempt to persuade the British to learn metric has been a miserable failure with virtually anyone under the age of 40 embarrassingly at sea when they need to measure anything for now they know neither imperial and metric thoroughly.
The other thing about Imperial weights and measures is they are rooted in the everyday -hands, foot, the length of a man's arm and so on, not dull man made dead ideas such as the metre. RH
