They claim that there is a compromise in the Senate on the healthcare bill.
A compromise that does not include a public option is a give away to the
insurance companies, companies that already are ripping people off.

Why are the Democrats that have a majority in both Houses are so incapable
of passing a bill that the majority of American people want? If they want
to hold the majority in Congress, they better start listening and passing
bills that
the majority demands.

Caving in to the right wingers will be the biggest mistake the Democrats can
make.
If the people get the idea that they are spineless, that will be the end of
them as
politicians.

Republicans on the other hand are doing everything they can to block any
legislation
the Democrats come up with to improve this country and our economy.
They're banking that if they can keep this economy in the gutter like they
managed
to put it, people will blame the Democrats and vote Republicans in. This is
a big gamble
that might destroy the Republican party all together. People will be
informed of the
blockage the Republicans did and that is the reason the economy didn't get
as much
better. So far they've managed to stick together on this, even though some
of them know
that they will be out of the game when to voters find out what they did.

Democrats, forget about deals that mean give away the progressives main
agenda. That's
a public option for all Americans. FREEDOM TO CHOOSE. COMPETITION.
AFFORDABLE
HEALTHCARE.

Competition? They cry about "competition" being the solution, but
were upset when Standard Oil was broken up in 1911.

Even when their fellow Republican Nixon came out with Kaiser
Permanente idea and the concept of HMO's. They backed the AMA
(Doctors union) when they said it was "Socialist Health Care".

And now? The HMO system rules and they say any change to that is
"socialist".

They're incredibly insane, inconsistent and driven by ideology. Not
change based on reality.
