There is a report out there tonight that California Senator Di Fi
is joining the Republicans and the Democrats' blue dogs to try to
cut benefits in Social Security and Medicare for seniors. Is she drunk?
The people in the SS and Medicare are the people that usually vote
for Democrats, is she trying to leave the Senate? If so, do it without
screwing up the seniors or hurting the Democratic party.

I understand it's their way of balancing the budget. Why do it from the
back of people most in need? Go get it from those people that got the
government bail out. After all, they haven't come up with anything to
improve our economy, they took the taxpayers money and pocketed it.

Great post, Rock! If DiFi wants to leave the Senate she should just
step down. Apparently she wants to join the Blue-Dog Lieberman party.
