The government is NOW admitting the inflation is 8.1% and we all know it
is at least double that.

I have been saying for some time now that gas and meat are rising at
close to 25% rate of inflation. Funny that they had to admit that it's
going up yet they still lie about how much..... The hyper inflation
is already a sealed deal. We will be in trouble soon enough and we are
headed for a government under Presidential emergency powers, a loss of
constitutional freedoms.

No, not the government at all.
An independant economic institute, the American Institute for Economic
Research, has developed it's Everyday Price Index (EPI).
http://www.aier.org/article/7557-epi-reflects-basic-economic-change
Now, a change to the CPI 'basket of good' to perhaps more accurately
reflect current consumer purchases isn't such a bad idea, but what is
in the CPI market baskets:,
"What goods and services does the CPI cover?"
http://www.bls.gov/cpi/cpifaq.htm#Question_6
While I don't see a list of the various (averaging) weights applied to
each group, (Possible on a different page), I do see gasoline is
indeed covered under the Transportation category and so included in
the inflation calculations (but at what weight?).
I note according to the graphs that AIER provides of it's EPI vs CPI
tracking, starting around the turn of this century the indices
diverge, reaching a peak around the time of the Financial crisis (late
2008 into early 2009). Looks like there was another peak mid last-
year (the manufactured "Debt" crisis maybe?), and now the EPI is going
down again.

Actually we all know it isn't that high.

Oh Lordy, the freaking Black Helicopter True-Believer Brigade from the
end of the 20th century has resurrected themselves to sqwak and whine

The government is doing no such thing, and it isn't half that. Liar.
